Apex is my go-to plumbing service. I've used them for years to repair the plumbing in my 108-year-old condo. This time, the bathroom sink was hopelessly clogged with organic sludge. I was happy to see Jon arrive because he has great experience with old buildings and their no-two-are-exactly-alike plumbing systems. He methodically assessed the problem before coming back with the right equipment. Then he went to work, explaining what he was doing and why. From filling and then siphoning the sink, he explained how he could tell where the clog was. Once he rodded the pipe, he repeatedly tested the sink to make sure it drained well, even listening to the pipe for a sound that indicated it was clear all the way to the connecting stack. It's a trick he teaches younger plumbers. Throughout, Jon wiped up any drips from his small wet vac and the detached under-sink pipes. He was also prompt, arriving just when he said he would, and he worked quickly but carefully and thoroughly. And we still had a few minutes to chat. It's clear that the Apex team takes pride in providing their essential services and values their customers.

Very poor service, job was not completed, no call back from what seems to
be an answering service. There is no way to communicate with the plumber.
I would not use APEX.

I found out that I had two gas leaks late on Friday evening and the service was shut off. I have two children 3 and under so this really was not a good situation for many reasons. I called Apex first thing on Saturday morning and left a message with the answering service. I received a call back from Chas within the hour. I explained the situation and he and Chris arrived at my home in the next two hours. Chas even called to let me know that he was going to be arriving a little later than expected. They identified the leaks and fixed them promptly. I am extremely pleased with the service I received. They were friendly, prompt and explained everything to me. Had the gas company done their job correctly, I would have had service restored by Saturday afternoon but that's a different review. Thanks Chas, Chris and Apex!

These guys were quick to quote and provide the service. Had a leaky outdoor spigot that could only be replaced by cutting a hole in the ceiling and removing it from inside. It took a bit longer than Jon thought due to the tight space, but he kept the same price quoted and did a clean cut so replacing the drywall was easy for me to do solo.

Plumber was very condescending over the phone and clearly did not want to take on the work. I was told that ""free estimates"" don't apply to condominium buildings. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and transparency with Apex.

Wonderful experience this week with Apex. First, their answering service is very thorough and professional. (I didn't know anyone still used answering services!) Jon came out to help with a toilet tank that wasn't filling. I appreciated that he explained everything that was going on in the tank and how he was going to fix it. Very professional demeanor, knowledgeable and friendly. Well done.

APEX Plumbing has been our ""go to"" plumbing on a variety of projects from rodding work, installing a new gas line for a stove or the latest project was to replace our 75-gallon commercial water tank. They are always responsive, fair pricing and do great work. These are the local guys you want to support.

I've needed a plumber a couple times this year... once for a garbage disposal replacement and then to unclog a common line in our condo building. Apex came through both times with quick service and friendly, knowledgeable technicians. It's nice to know we have a local company to rely upon!

Bathtub was not draining on Friday night, Called them on Saturday @ 7 AM, by 8 they showed up and fixed the problem PRONTO. Good service , and would use them again!

Called to have a leaky toilet fixed. Geoff was out the next morning, on time, called to let me know they were on their way. He showed me the problem from the last plumber and he fixed everything! Great job! Will definitely be using Apex for ALL my plumbing needs from now on!
