I am not allowed to leave Zero Stars for Apex Plumbing on YELP, so I am forced to give them 1 star.
Here is my story, I made an appointment online on Sunday for an appointment the next day between 1pm-6pm (I know a huge window). I received a text Monday morning confirming my appointment for that afternoon. However, at 2:20 pm I received a call informing me that they needed to reschedule! I was frustrated and confused. Upon further investigation, Apex stated ""we overbooked."" What an answer to why you cancel my appointment. DO NOT USE Apex Plumbing.

Apex Has plumbing is beyond horrible. After incompetence which caused severe damage to my home, they cannot even follow through in agreements to pay for the restoration costs required and which they previously had said they would pay. Lies upon lies. Failures upon failures. All it seems Apex is good at. A one star rating is too good for them.

I had an appointment set for between 8am and 1 pm today. At 11:25 I get a text asking me what time works best for the tech to fix the issue? My thoughts would be within the set appointment time. my response was asap btw. At 11:29 the response I got said i was the next stop, i texted back asking if it would be after the set appointment time we had set up there was no response sent back to me poor customer service at its best. At 1:30 I called asking for a new eta since the appointment time was passed what we agreed on , while the girl was checking on the eta I got a text saying the tech was enroute to me. at 3:10 which was a hour and 40 mins later I called back and was told he was 18 mins away so damn near 2 hours to get to my location??? SEEMS A BIT EXTREME. the tech finally showed up and found the P trap was leaking so he replaced it for $237.00 the sad part of this story is apex plumbers were her a year and a couple of months ago and replaced all of the plumbing under that sink as well as much more work at the same time that costed well into the $1000.00 range. over all this day cost me over $500.00 between the 9 dollar part 2 mins of labor and the days pay I lost all to repair work I already paid apex to do just over a year ago. between the customer service failure and the dispatcher failure its shameful on their part to change their customers like this I wish I could give them less then 1 star and hopefully th8s will help anyone else who is thinking about using apex I strongly would not recommend them from this day forward regardless of the owner sleeping on his mom's couch or whatever bear is painted on their trucks.

Technician came out to clear a backed up main sewer drain which was cleared by running a snake through the sewer line. This cost was covered by a Home Warranty. As a follow up a scope was sent through the line to determine the cause of the backup. The video of the scope was not saved because I did not pay an additional $400 for the service. The resulting diagnosis was a cracked drain pipe with the estimate for repair $5262. Since this was a significant cost with no visible documentation, I had a second plumbing contractor evaluate the issue. They ran a scope and recorded the video, which I received. The diagnosis, which was supported by the video, was a dislodged backflow device which was repaired on the spot for $324, also covered by a Home Warranty.
Not sure if Apex made an honest misdiagnosis or an opportunity to take advantage of a customer, but either way it is a bad situation. Either it is incompetence or dishonest business practice.
I have sent this information to Apex, but have had no response.
Beware: ""Apex pros don't know"" as the commercials indicate.

Sales person held my project hostage for more money.

The on site job lead and staff plumbers did a good job and worked hard on this basement bathroom installation. It was a big job: Pump in floor, adding toilet pipe, vent pipe, etc.

When the job was all but finished, the sales person was not professional and asked for $1000 more to complete the $15000.00 job that Apex agreed to.

The sales person controlled the plumbers scheduling and would not allow the final fixtures to be installed. This job was held hostage.

John the sales person said he would send the plumbers to my house, if I would buy a water softener system from him.

Needless to say, I hired another plumber to finish the job.

If I could rate a zero I would. I called to have our washer hooked up in the garage and our main water line shutoff checked for a leak. By the time he was done he suggested we get a brand new water heater have our main line dug up from the ground in front of the house tearing up the front walkway in the process and all these new lines downstairs for the washer. This was all quoted at over $18k. Our home warranty company doesn't even use them as a recommended company because they upcharge and suggest replacing stuff that doesn't need replaced. The company they suggested came out today and is going to do the washer for around $2500 suggested that the water heater doesn't need replaced and tighten a bolt on our main line and said it's fine! Do not use this company under any circumstance, they promote being family owned and treated customers right while trying to take advantage of people that don't have plumbing knowledge.

I wasted 8 hours over 2 days for them to come give me an estimate. They stood me up 2 days in a row. COMPLETELY unprofessional and untrustworthy. They do not value customer's time; or keep their appointments.

I was quoted $386 just to snake a tub drain. Called another company and was quoted $169 for the same job. Buyer beware of obvious price-gouging.

The technician came and diagnosed the problem with my water heater. He was very courteous and straightforward about the cost of the repair.
