I am buying a house and had some issues come up when I did the sewer scope. Someone recommended Apex to me to ask for an estimate on fixing the issues. I contacted apex and they responded fairly promptly. I had a tight deadline to get the estimate details to the seller and after a few e-mails back and forth I was told that meeting my deadline wasn't a problem and they would have the estimate to me soon. I waited for the estimate and sent e-mail reminders fairly regularly. On the day of my deadline I called Apex twice and was told someone would be in touch shortly, no one called. I called again and was informed for probably the fifth time that they would send a reminder to their estimator even though I politely expressed the urgency. I missed my deadline. I have never hired Apex for any work and after this experience I never will. I felt like I recieved the run around and that the staff didn't care about me at all. If you don't mind poor customer service and being brushed off then Apex is the company for you, if you expect more then I would suggest going just about anywhere else.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM. A very dishonest company. We paid them $3,500 to replace the outside plumb lines for our rental property 20 months ago. The pipe burst 2 weeks ago and we incur $1,000 water fees. They refuse to pick up the water bill. Instead, they charge us $2,500 to fix the broken pipes. They would not honor the warranty. Don't believe anything about this company. Please pick another plumbing company otherwise you'll as regret as I am.

I have nothing but great things to say. Lyric help me out in a tough situation. I was quoted a complete sewer line replacement. The pricing was great for the same service 4 other companies quote.

The crew was a bit early (which was OK) and very nice. They explained what they were going to do and answered all my questions. They worked hard and got the job done in one day.

I would definitely use (although I hope I don't have to) and recommend them to my closest friends.

This guys did a great job on our sewer line repair in June 2013. Due to a water feature in the backyard, they were forced to excavate 12' by hand to make the repair. The crew was very polite and made no gripes about the work, even though it was a tough job. I would definitely hire APEX again for work in the future.

Apex redid our sewer right before we moved into our 1911 bungalow. We had it scoped during inspection and it was in quite a state. The previous owner agreed to have it repaired and hired Apex. Upon moving in Apex still had not put our sod back in place stating that the weather was not ideal... They never put the sod back in place. Apex also broke up our sidewalk and front curb. About 3 month after we moved in we started having major plumbing issues (basement sink would back up and take hours-days to drain). We had 3 different plumbers out at our house and two of which told us that Apex did a shoddy job repairing our sewer and that we again had standing water. We were advised to have them come ware tee their work (original paperwork for the sewer repairs had a 5 year warrantee). I called up Apex they came out to take a look and assured me that they did a good job and that they weren't concerned about the standing water. Then get this, not only were they not going to warrantee their work they tried to charge me over $100 to scope it! They even threatened to take me to collections if I didn't pay, but when I said I would be happy to contact the better business bureau to get this resolved I never heard from them again. This is a dishonest company, I highly advise finding a more reputative plumber!

This company is entirely unprofessional. The fix and flipper next door asked us to sign a release for this company to do work in our yard for a non critical repair (confirmed by Denver Sewer). When our other neighbor declined to have them make this repair in their yard, it stopped the repair process. In order to sell the home, they had to make alternate plans with Apex.

This evening I came home from work to find a hand written note on yellow notebook paper from Apex ""Your sewer is out of service until 9pm"" without any contact information to follow up. No advanced notice was given.

They knocked on our door after 5:30pm to tell let my non english speaking visiting relative know. I am 5 days away from my due date with a 2 year old at home without a working sewer system and no notice was given until my sewer was ""out of service"". They did not call me back

When we were vetting out what they were trying to do initially, the technical guy (Jim?) was not very informative nor reassuring that our lawn/driveway/deck would be back to present state. When I brought up the negative reviews I saw online, he entirely dismissed them and said that anyone can comment online. While I cannot comment on their work, their approach in working with neighbors absolutely suck. Based on that alone, I would not recommend them if you would like to stay on friendly terms with your neighbors.

I am giving 4 stars because I believe others in the trade would have done worse. Reading the bad comments makes me realize that shit happens when your job is to dig a trench through a yard, pipes, fences, etc. and throw dirt everywhere. To pristinely do the job would require removal of all landscaping and structures and replacing them with much new materials (posts, concrete, sod, filter fabric and crushed rock) and I shudder to think what that would cost. So when they said they would dismantle my fence, dig, under a sidewalk, and a retaining wall I was happy. Their price was good and I knew they had done a good number of these jobs.

After three days all was back to normal as promised with a roughed up retaining wall, more dirt than I wanted in my parking lot gravel, and dirt between my replaced flagstone slabs but I am happy.

I would recommend project managing them and asking for more tarps to cover the ground to protect from dirt. Other than that went well and my tenants can flush again.

We didn't hire Apex--the people whose home we bought hired Apex to fix the plumbing situation we discovered when we did a sewer scope for our inspection. So I cannot speak to customer service in terms of pricing, initial customer service and responsiveness. What I can comment on, however, is the aftermath of Apex's work. First, we were told that our yard would have sod put back down after the work. Now that might have been a miscommunication on the part of the seller, but I will say that our yard was absolutely torn up and pieced back together so it looked like a patchwork quilt. What grass remained was covered in dirt and mud, so claiming that they ""relandscape"" after they are finished with the work is a very loose statement. Also, Apex ran something (presumably some type of machinery) into our gutter and totally crashed it in. How they didn't realize they did this is beyond me, but I will give them credit for coming out and fixing it (after numerous unanswered calls and emails from our realtor to them). In addition, they completely destroyed our sprinkler system. Once again, they did try to come out and make it right after repeated calls/emails but it was to no avail--the damage was much more extensive than their ""sprinkler guy"" realized. We ended up having to pay someone $400 to come out and unclog the system from dirt, replace several sprinkler heads, and run an entirely new line because in their haste Apex completely eliminated several sprinkler heads and hooked up a line incorrectly. So after having our yard dug up once to fix the pipes, a second time by their sprinkler guy, and then a third time by our own sprinkler guy our yard may finally be on the mends. While they were eventually responsive to the problems, it was incredibly alarming to me that there were so many things Apex didn't seem to notice and remedy without us contacting them first. I have to say, the lack of conscientiousness on the part of Apex makes us really concerned regarding the quality of the actual plumbing work...

The Apex people have been very helpful through the process of replacing my sewer line. They are very courteous in the office, their sales rep was professional, and the crew that did the work knew just what they were doing. The yard looked like a mountain of dirt with a great big hole through it but by the time they left, it looked very nice (except the nice new sidewalk piece they had to put back gave it away that they were even there). They also got everything looked at by the city inspector which became so important for the sale of my house. I would recommend this group to anyone who has to get a repair done.

These guys were great overall and gave a very reasonable estimate I could live with for replacement of my water line into the house. Then they took care of it in record time.

The only issue was that my drainage was blocked by an earth berm left when they put my landscaping back together and of course it had to rain cats and dogs two days later! I did get some leakage from that but they responded quickly to me and took care of it within hours of my calls for help. Special props to Rob! He ruined some nice shoes fixing that drainage issue and he's a surgeon with a backhoe so if you need major earth work on your plumbing this is the guy you want at the helm of that beast!
