apex did a Great job at answering the phone call and coming out to diagnose the problem right away.

DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY! We purchased a brand new HVAC unit from them 3 years ago. They told us they did not have the unit we agreed on purchasing in stock, but had one that was better and more efficient and could be installed immediately. We had problems with our AC ever since! 2 weeks ago, once again, it was not keeping up and when I called them to please come out they stated that they no longer work on these units anymore and to call another company for service! They have not passed inspection from the County and it's been 3 years! When we called another company to check it out they stated parts for this HVAC have been discontinued for years! This company showed us the extreme leaks ours had and stated that's why they don't use this brand.(YORK) We are now going to have to purchase a whole new unit...We are on a fixed income, are elderly and don't have a spare $7K for a new one! Please learn from our bad experience with this company unless you have money to burn....THEY BURNED US!!! The only thing this company knows how to do is take your money! They are scammers...

I KNEW I needed a compressor & have a Home Warranty, but I wasn't """"comfortable"""" with the Co. I was assigned. Being the cooler months of Florida (thank God) I wanted to think my options.. The Co. I was assigned to, was pushing me to replace whole system,I had just had air handler and coils replaced previous year, but they kept insisting with the age of the unit, it should be replaced. I looked up Carrier Dealers in area and found APEX. Richard the owner himself came out inspected the unit, said that the motherboard (? whatever that is) which is costly was fine, air handler & coils were super, just do compressor, was his suggestion and left, no charge, just recommendation. So based on what home Warranty Co. was going to charge me for Freon, an additional $700, or I could take a pay out of $703 for the compressor and have some other co, put it in. I called APEX, I got Richard on the phone who explained the his company has received the President's Award from Carrier, he couldn't get a compressor for $703, he was sorry he couldn't help me. I thought long and hard, and decided to go with APEX, they cost me a bit more, but the honesty, professionalism, no pressure just a true feeling of wanting to help, made me feel I made the right decision. They we're out the next day installed, tested, even followed up with a text the following day. They not only got a customer for life, they built a trust.

Worst place! Had them come out on friday to fix my air conditioner. The technician showed up and started diagnosing the ac. He then said we may have a leak and that we are low on refrigerant so with that we said ok what's the next step? He suggested a sealant that was in a black box to put in the system to seal the leak and he would come back in a week to check ac. With us being first time home owners and wanting to get ac for of family and we have a 5 year old. We said do it. We need ac today. When he was done the ac kicked on but was not cold for about 30 minutes the temperature inside the house still stayed at 82 degrees. So I told the guy can you wait until the temperature goes down 1 degree just so we know it's working. The guy starts getting calls from his manager (his name was Troy) saying that he needed to go we started getting upset with this. So the guy says well either u pay me or I take the refrigerant out of the ac. We said we were not paying for something that isnt fixed. He then went outside and took out all the refrigerant including what was already inside our unit and let it out into the air. I have a video of the guy taking the refrigerant out and putting it in the air. Well we went the whole weekend without no ac. Then we have someone come and check our ac monday morning. Come to find out that the guy actually messed up our compressor and a valve in the ac. This company is the worst ever. DO NOT GO WITH THEM!!!

This is by far the best AC service provider we have found in our area since moving to FL in early 2021. We have two houses (ours in Celebration and a rental in Davenport). In the last year, we needed to replace the entire AC system on one house and have had several problems with the AC system on the other house. We are frugal, so we always shop for the best overall value. Apex has beaten the competition every time in terms of prices for parts and labor, as well as great service. The first time they came to our house, the technician did a diagnostic and told us how to fix a problem with no charge. When we had to replace the whole system on the house we rent to our son, we saved more than $2k going with Apex over 3 other bids. Now our friends and neighbors are also using this company and have been so happy we referred them. Apex is a gem.

Don't hire them. Ever. When presented the facts Richard Morris would not return calls nor will acknowledge the extreme damage their service team Michael and Troy caused in my home due to blasting nitrogren through my drain pipe to clear it. The damage totaled $7,700 and 3 months to repair!! My insurer and Del Air confirmed Apex Air was 100% negligent using the nitro blast and I'm trying to prevent you from experiencing the same.

Our outdoor unit finally died and I knew we likely needed an entirely new system. Technician Steven came out only a couple hours after I called and diagnosed a few problems. He gave me some options and I decided to indeed change out the whole unit. The price ended up being over $1,000+ LESS than a couple other companies. So just two days later they were back and knocked it all out on a Saturday. They were professional and took their time to ensure everything worked well. I will definitely be calling them again in the future when we move into a new house. Thank you!

I hired this Company at the recommendation of Home Advisor after getting scammed by Apex Air. Ultimate sent tech Jonathan over who said he had worked for Apex and the guy Patrick was a salesman and not a tech and didn't know what he was doing. He then proceeded to sell us a new Thermostat because he said Apex had installed it incorrectly and broke it in the process. The heat worked while Jonathan was at the home and we assumed it was fixed at a cost of $290.00 to us. I contacted Apex and told him what this Jonathan from Ultimate said and told Apex they owed me $160.00 for the repair. My mother in law had no reason to use the heat until just this week and when she went to turn it on, it did not (of course) work so we had to call Jonathan of Ultimate Air back out. He came out with the owner, who after messing around called me and told me that the heat did not work because the system was low of Freon, which did not make any sense to me so I asked him why the system would be low on Freon when Jonathan had checked it previously and it was fine and the air conditioner was blowing cold, he then said there must be a slow leak but that was the reason why the heat did not work and he put in 3 pounds of Freon and it would cost us $150.00. I paid but I felt I was again being scammed by this Company now and contacted another Air Conditioning Company who stated the Freon has nothing to do with the heat and weather it would work or not. So once again we were scammed not by one Company from Home Advisor but (2) separate Companies who just happened to send over a tech that previously worked for the other Company and friends with the prior tech. These Companies will do anything to scam you for whatever money they can and will tell you whatever lie they have to in order to get you to part with your Money. Do not trust Ultimate Air or Apex Cooling, they are nothing more than scam artists.

I bought a brand new AC unit for them cash. It broke down while still under warranty, and less than a year old. APEX stated they would order part from the manufacturer. Weeks went buy, and no part. Owner british accent no help alot of excuses. Called manufacturer directly, and they stated they were not in good standing with them and would not deal with them. I had to have another AC company service the unit and pay for labor out of pocket.
