As always, they provide prompt response and great service! I called this morning about an AC and it was fixed by lunchtime.

Very happy with the re-piping job performed on our modular home. Robert is a master plumber and was able to navigate the challenges involved with working on a house like ours and performed the job with professionalism and humor. I really appreciated his expertise.

Water heater pilot went out (again) and I called Apes. Scott arrived much earlier than estimated (which was great!!) and spent 30-60 minutes (I lost track) replacing parts. He was knowledgeable, personable and couldn't have been nicer. Price was REASONABLE but came with the caveat that this water heater (2006) is elderly and on its last legs. Hoping it goes another year or three but no guarantees. (When I made this appointment, I told owner Bryan they hadn't been here before. I forgot that they'd been here in 2016. I fully expect that they'll be here again.)

On July 2, 2024 during the beginning of a week-long heat wave, our HVAC unit decided to stop working. The first repair company we phoned offered us a date in August. Husband and I are in our 70's and we knew that a long wait for August to roll around wouldn't be in our best interests.
I noticed APES had good ratings and gave the number to my husband to try next. For the first time that day, we began to foster some hope.
After asking a few key questions, the APES representative said a repair person would be by the next day between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
And before 2 p.m., we were fortunate enough to have ""Will"" from APES knock on our door. Will accessed the situation quickly -- new parts would be needed from Santa Rosa. He had one more call to make for the day; after which he would be willing to drive to Santa Rosa, get the needed parts and return to our home to finish the repair. We had already spent one heat-wave night with no air conditioning so we really appreciated Will's offer. Things were also more complicated given the next day was the 4th of July.
So we took Will up on his offer -- and it was worth every penny spent.
Will struck us as highly knowledgeable in his work, yet explained things in laymen's terms. And it's obvious that customer service is important to him: Will stayed until 9 p.m., testing the repaired HVAC until he was satisfied. We now consider Will our ""Heat-Wave Hero"" around here. It's so reassuring to know who to call ""next time."" Thank You Will!

Beware: very aggressive not pleasant people work for this company. Easily agitated and quick to escalade situations in a hostile manner. Would not recommend.

Our sump pump stopped and we were recommended to Apes. Our guy came out right away even 10 minutes early. Our pump needed to be replaced after 20 years time of course. We had water. Lots of water. He put the new one in that we had bought. He was very nice, efficient, and did a great job.

I am a plumbing contractor. I called to see if they carried a part for a commercial water heater I am trying to repair. I was greeted on the phone by a man who was immediately unhelpful and rude. At the end of our conversation he actually ended up saying nothing and hanging up. Would not recommend going here. Terrible customer service

Will is amazing! He had the eye of an artist when installing, and could not have been more responsive. Was onsite within 24 hours for a quick service call - fantastic!

Problem was that the Heater wouldn't ignite when it was cold. Like when you need a furnace to work. In the morning when we needed it it didn't work. Heater would then start at some random time in the after noon when it was warmer. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. Didn't know how to diagnose the problem and said it must be ""operator error"" meaning we did something wrong. Cleaned the filters because he said that ""overheating is the usual problem"". Said burners needed replacement which isn't true. Left an invoice for $160 after an hour. Maybe they can do plumbing but don't have a clue how to fix hvac systems. He thought all was ok since it was warm and the furnace was working at that time. Never again. 5 days later Severson out came and in 15 minutes, tested it and said it was a bad thermostat and replaced it.
