Tony is awesome! My husband and I frantically called him when our water stopped working at 8:00 pm on a Sunday night! Tony walked us through the problem over the phone and was able to diagnose the issue just by listening to my husband describe the problem. He gave us his earliest available appointment for the following day. Using Tony's advice, my husband was able to fix the problem himself! We look forward to using Tony for all our future plumbing needs!

So I don't write reviews on Yelp, but after dealing with Tony I had to share how amazing he was. I was having issues with my water heater and Tony was responsive and helpful throughout my time in need. I was getting ready to replace the entire unit, but Tony provided me guidance and some helpful tips before we had to resort to replacing the unit. In the end I was able to get it fixed rather than replaced!!!!

Tony is straight forward and honest. The time will come when I will need to replace my water heater and Tony will be the person I will call to do the job.

We were so fortunate to be referred to Tony by a friend of ours! I'm pretty handy around the house, but when one of the valves connected to our washing machine hose necessitated shutting off the household water supply (to avoid flooding the laundry room), we knew we had to call someone. Tony came the next day and was able to quickly assess the issue and help me figure out the parts needed to fix it. Instead of charging me for the simple fix, he walked me through how to do it myself. He didn't even charge us for making the trip! Tony's an honest guy with a great deal of knowledge. We'll definitely be calling him if we run into anymore plumbing issues!

Spoke with Tony about my water heater not working and no hot water. Had an appointment the following morning. I was given an estimate on what I may be paying depending on the issue. He arrived on time and explained everything very well in easy to understand terms so I knew exactly what was going on. He didn't charge me for the minor fix at the time. I had to call him again as my water heater wiring needed to be replaced. Tony answered my call right away and came back within two hours. Very happy that my water heater is now working fine. Tony was a lifesaver. We had a major plumbing backup over a holiday weekend. He arrived within a couple of hours of our Saturday morning call, and he took a number of steps to try to clear it without having to use more expensive means. Maybe even more importantly to me, he talked me through options and steps, and he approached what was a really stressful thing for us with both professionalism and good humor. His price was very fair, and I would both use him again and recommend him.

Tony from AK Plumbing is amazing. He was extremely responsive, answering almost every call we made and calling us back within minutes the one time we had to leave a message. Our water heater stopped working and instead of immediately trying to get us to buy a new one, he came out and tried to fix our old one. When he wasn't able to get the old one working properly, he didn't charge us for anything and immediate got working to help us get a new one. He made us his top priority, installed the new heater right away, and even fixed two other minor plumbing issues we had in other parts of the house for free. He likes to pay it forward and said he didn't want to nickel and dime us. We really appreciated his honest, careful, and super responsive work. We will be calling him for all of our plumbing needs from now on.

Highly recommend AK Plumbing. Tony was very reasonable and efficient in replacing our water heater. He took the time to walk me through what was included in the cost of his labor and materials other than the heater itself. He made the experience painless and his work was quick and efficient. I have worked with Tony a second time to install/modify a liquid propane fire pit. He came out twice and on both visits he pointed out that the replacenent parts I ordered were not compatible and he was not comfortable with installing what the manufacturer sent to me. This is a testament to Tony's commitment to safety, patience, and customer satisfaction. Thank you Tony (hopefully the third time's a charm ;)!
