The AP Water Heaters team is exactly the type of company we all hope for. Responsive, knowledgeable of equipment and rebates/incentives, professional, timely, reasonable, very respectful of the work area and home, flexible with schedule, and honest. All of my questions were answered even more thoroughly than I asked and in terms that were understandable. This equipped me to make a clear and confident decision on equipment type and was able to plan swiftly for the work to be tackled.

Managing a family and balancing income life (in the Bay Area) in itself is a lot! Add on managing the entire home and surrounding property with the need for trustworthy contractors is pretty paramount. AP Water Heaters is a true partner for us home owners and I highly recommend them.

Justin went out of his service area to replace a part on our water heater under warranty. After contacting 3 other authorized plumbers by the manufacturer, Justin was the only one who was willing to commute. Arrived earlier than expected, finished earlier than expected. Great text communication.

My sink was wet underneath and when I called Justin, he showed up the same day I called. He discovered my drain was totally rusted. By the next morning he had all the parts, installed them in less than 1/2 hour, and my sink is working better than ever.

Not sure why this is the first review since 2014, but Justin came over to fix a number of things - hot water heater, replace a toilet tank and fix a leaky kitchen sink. Not only was he great to work with in terms of scheduling and discussions about the best hot water heater for me, but when he came to do the work it was fast, super well done and fairly good clean up job. I appreciated Justin's flexibility, knowledge and professionalism. Also helped that the plumbing supply store team spoke highly of him and his work. I'm actually calling him back today to do the next round of work. Phew! Finally found a great plumber.

This was without doubt my best and most reasonably priced home repair experience ever, and I have owned homes since 1993. I called Aulday plumbing today at 11:30 when I arrived home to find my water heater's broken exit pipe spraying water all over the floor. They were in the area and came over within five minutes, picked up new pipes for the water heater down the street, and replaced it by 1215. $145. Plus really nice guys who made sure to keep our floor clean by shuffling to the door on a towel. [I promised not to post a picture of them doing this.]

They also educated me on the cause (cheap pipe), the kind of alternative pipe solutions, and water heater quality/reliability.

I will use Aulday in the future whenever I need a plumber. Pretty amazing.

I recently bought a home in Kensington, and needed to find a good local plumber. I decided to give Aulday Plumbing a try, based on positive Yelp reviews. Justin Aulday has been a great resource in providing expert advice about how and which repairs and upgrades are worth doing at my home. Justin is both cost- and quality-conscious and extremely helpful in responding to the couple times I've already had immediate needs for troubleshooting-- once to determine whether there was a leak in the house; once to identify the source of a gas leak; and another time to help me (as a clueless homeowner) find out that the reason why the gas stove wasn't working was because another tradesperson had shut off the gas supply to the oven while doing foundation work. NOTE: Justin declined to charge me for his first inspection visit and for the visit to see about the oven, and although he accepted payment for the visit that determined there was no water leaking (turned out a cleaning supply bottle from the previous occupant must have leaked into a built in storage unit), he did not ask for payment: I felt it was his due. Justin's main job at my house has been to install a tankless water heater and remove the old, traditional water heater. This was done for a very competitive price, and Justin also smoothly coordinated with an electrician to arrange for the power supply to the heater. Justin is unfailingly courteous, professional, kind hearted, and confidence-inspiring.

I needed to get my electric water heater replaced at my office, and had gotten an unbelievably high quote from another leading plumber. I called Justin, he came by the next day, installed it in an hour and charged me very reasonably for his time. That's how it should be done! Bada bing bada boom! I called Justin on very short notice with a leaking kitchen faucet and asked for him to come out that day. He agreed to meet me right after my work finished and I found him at my house when I got there!! Luckily, the problem was small - almost embarrassingly small. Justin had it fixed in 5 minutes, showed me what to do if it happened again, and charged an extremely reasonable price considering I wasted his time. He could not have been nicer - he is now my go-to plumber

His charges were fair and reasonable and totally honest. To top it all, he was warm, friendly and helpful. Almost made me wish I had more plumbing problems - almost!
