Through American Home Shield, AP Plumbing, LLC replaced the hot water heater in my home around the end of August 2014. Though I can't complain about the work they did, I can complain about what appears to be criminal behavior and poor administration practices exhibited by this company. I was given a list of things that had to be repaired and /or replaced along with installing the new water heater. All of this work came to a total of $590. By phone I made the $590 payment through my debit card. Later that day I looked at my online bank statement and noticed there were two charges of $590, both coming from AP Plumbing. I tried contacting them several times but no one ever answered the phone. I left messages on their voicemail system and sent emails to their company website messages and both were left unanswered. To this day I haven't been able to get in contact with anyone from AP Plumbing. I definitely can confirm the stories others have made about not responding to emails or returning phone calls. Now when I call their phone goes straight to voicemail. AHS needs to quit doing business with AP Plumbing....I certainly won't do business with them again.

AP Plumbing responded to my residence on a warranty call through American Home Shield. Initially they sent out someone who was not a certified plumber. He caused a leak in my home on laminate floors. The floor is buckling and needless to say I have tried a few times over a couple months to get them to call. To date I have only been able to leave messages. I will give the second plumber that came out credit for fixing the issues and showing sympathy, that is far as I able to go as far as compliments are concerned. If I had a choice, AP plumbing will be last on my list to fix anything in my home.

I am also an AHS home warranty customer and had a similar experience to the others. I put in my service request three days ago, called many times, e-mailed, and never heard anything from them. Their phone mailbox was always full, so I could not leave a message. Very frustrating and unprofessional!

If there was a no-star rating, I would give it. I strongly do not recommend this company. American Homeshield home warranty referred this company to our unfortunate family after a kitchen sink clog. The result? Paid $75.00 service fee to an entry level plumber who refused to do anything inside, stating he could only use a snake via an installed clean out. Our home is built in 1950. Stated for $2100, his company can install one some other day (or for 850.00 on the side of our home - complete SWAG). I wrote him the required check and then called AHS warranty to complain. We currently have no sink, laundry, diswashing service and are $75.00 poorer. When I showed the technician a clean-out near the street the prior owners installed just for this purpose, he said it wasn't the right kind. Never looked at it. Am now writing this review to warn others. Do not use AP Plumbing! (Update: AHS refunded our $75.00 service fee and is sending out a reputable company. They are taking AP Plumbing off of our account's candidate plumbing company list, thank goodness.)

Whether you have a Home Warranty and are assigned to this company, or are searching for a company around the area, DO NOT let anyone from AP Plumbing into your home. By far, this is the worst company to deal with. Rude, unprofessional, and liars! You'll never get through to the main office because the rude girl ignores your calls (which by the way, is her cell phone).

Problem: no hot water

We specifically requested a senior tech. Not only did the ""office of one"" call 15mins prior the 8-12 window to inform us the tech would be late, but the tech showed up 1.5 hours late! To make it worse, he's only been a tech for 4 months. He took an assessment over the phone from his colleague, stating that I need a new water heater. You can't assess something you can't SEE! I informed my warranty company that AP Plumbing was garbage, and they haven't fell short of my statement. And the tech had the nerve to tell us that he was ""tired"" and wants to complete the job tomorrow"". UNACCEPTBLE!!!!!!

The young tech was an arrogant, disrepectful jerk (I'll allow you, Yelpers, to imagine what else was said....).

The tech stated that he was concerned that if he doesn't fix the job, he'll have a red flag on his record and won't get paid. So disregard the fact that I have an issue that you can't fix. Fortunately, my warranty company sent out another contractor - and surprise surprise, it wasn't the water heater.

AP Plumbing WILL take advantage of you if you let them.

Trust me when I say, the negative reviews on this company online are ALL TRUE!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! You've been warned. Gave me the run around for weeks then started to ignore my calls until I used a different phone. Then put me on hold and cut me off. Called them from 5 different phone numbers, each time they picked up, put me on hold then would not accept calls from that number. The b**** on the phone is called Lauren, the rudest person you will ever deal with, or maybe just stupid!! Don't know how this company stays in business

I have waited to write this review in hopes that the company and the home warranty company would work with this company to resolve the conflict and difficulties but this did NOT HAPPEN. So therefore , I would IN NO WAY USE THIS COMPANY EVER or recommend this company for any purpose or reason. When the came to the home to replace a water heater they OVER inflated what was needed to be done so that they could collect their fee from the home warranty company and also charge us the homeowner over $1000 stating ""modifications"" had to be done outside what the home warranty would cover. I called 2 other companies which claimed NONE of what they were charging $1000 to do was needed. AP Plumbing when questioned would not return phone calls and as others have said were RUDE. They also collected a service fee from us and then claimed we had never paid it. They have not treated us as a customer in an upright and honest fashion.

If anyone mention this company to you, tell the you would rather find a crack head to do the work! This company was recommended by AHS to repair my hot water tank and replace my garbage disposal. They came out on Saturday May 31 and the technician was very nice, well today is June 6th and we still do not have hot water! I have called this number they have listed so many times and they do not answer. I am filing a complaint with the BBB because this company needs to be closed! They told us on Wednesday the part would be in on Thursday, then on Thursday they told us Friday, so on Friday they called my husband in the morning and told him Monday. I called back and the rude lady Jennifer or Jenny told me it should be in Friday between 3-4 and they would schedule with us next week! I told her that was unacceptable and if the part came in they need to be at my home no later than Saturday and she hung up the phone...did I mention the Warrenty company had them on a conference call when she hung up! This just shows how rude and unprofessional they are! I really like spending my money with companies that do not make customer service their priority! This will be the last time they ever receive my business and I will post a comment ever place I can so no one else goes through this! Not only will they not get my business again but AHS is going to lose it and I have been a customer for 13 years and I will tell everyone I know about my experience and I will post it on my FB, Instagram and twitter!

I was hesitant to give this company even one star; however, some rating must be given to post a comment.

When I first found this company on the internet and saw only two reviews, I thought that the complaints were so similar that it must have been a disgruntled customer and someone that they knew posting. Unfortunately, that is likely not the case. As a client of a home warranty company myself, this company was assigned to come repair a garbage disposal. The appointment was scheduled for Monday, April 7, 2014 between the hours of 12PM and 4PM. When no one had arrived or called by 3:59 PM, I placed a call to AP Plumbing myself. The call was forwarded directly to a voice messaging system which upon picking up never identified the company. I left a message to no avail. When I called the home warranty company to let them know this, they called AP who in turn told them that the appointment was for the following day. That was impossible because I never schedule anything for a Tuesday due to a work schedule. I asked how they were able to contact them, if they had used a different number than the listed one. They had not. They stated that they had to call a couple of times. I did the same when I got off of the phone and still no answer.

I decided that the reviews were most certainly valid and called the home warranty company to let them know that the ONE star reviews (too high in my opinion) were most definitely accurate and I wanted them to send a different vendor. I did not want anyone representing a company with those reviews --no respect for the customer's time, no respect for contacting the customers, and the notion that the company identity must be concealed in the voice messaging system-- out to my home to ""service"" us and cause additional stress by lack of professionalism and the idea that they may create additional mess and leave it as concluded in a previous review.

If you are going to spend your money to have repairs made, I would advise you steer clear of this company. I would hate to see anyone else have to experience this.

02/14/2015 Update: I just realized that this company has a 3 star rating based on only two reviews on Yelp, mine and someone else's. On Google Plus, they have a 1.1 star rating based on ten reviews.
