This is the most ridiculously unprofessional company with whom I've dealt. Why? You may ask. I implore you to keep reading. 1. While at work, I submitted a request on Angie's List for a plumbing job. This man called me at 3 am and as soon as I got off work at 7:30 to follow- up on the job. What plumbing company conducts business at 3 am? 2. I spoke to the plumber TWICE before he came to give me a quote. AFTER he'd assessed everything and wrote up a quote, he then lingered around for a $45 service fee. When I addressed the fact that he never mentioned this fee before, he responded """"forget it"""" and stormed out of my house. 3. Against my better judgment, I decided to go with AP Affordable Plumbing after calling around to several companies and he was the most affordable. (I'm on a limited budget being a single mother and now a graduate school student.) He set up and asked to see my quote, which stated $285 to replace my shower drain. He then asked if someone else completed the other jobs I originally requested (p-trap and kitchen faucet replacement). I told him that I'd done it myself saving $250. His response? """"Oh shit. YouTube is taking my money."""" Then, he states the job is now $350 because the original quote was a """"package deal."""" I told him that I was only going to pay what he quoted me. Instead of honoring his quote and utilizing the experience as a lesson learned on how to thoroughly educate a customer on your quotes, this man packed up his tools and left. The other poor reviews are not an attempt to tarnish his reputation. Their experiences are an accurate depiction of his poor business practices. If I could give no stars, I would. I never leave reviews, so I had to be absolutely disappointed, livid, and/ or disgusted to take the time to write this and warn others.

I contacted Absolute Plumbing on facebook and they responded right away. The owner is Mr. Adrian Green . My problem was a gas smell from the laundry room area. I suspected it was from the propane line where the previous owner had a gas dryer connected. Adrian was able to quickly diagnose the problem and found that an incorrect fitting was on the line . He located the shutoff valve for the gas line , replaced the fitting . He just turned on the gas line and tested for leaks . I don't smell anything so hopefully that's all it was. And sidenote - it's always cool to deal with someone pleasant with a sense of humor. Thanks !!
