A pipe sprung a leak in my garage recently. I called a plumber who had been to the house previously but paid through insurance. After being told I had exceeded my claims I was informed that because it was after hours there would be a $150 fee on top of the repair costs which they guess-timated over the phone at $375. I canceled the service call and instead found Anza Plumbing. They came out to the house quickly to give me an estimate. Their price was strictly hourly with no additional after hours/emergency fee. Repair was done in less than 2 hours and I saved a bunch of $$$ with Anza. Will definitely use them again and refer anyone looking for a plumber.

These guys know their stuff! I live in a house from the 1930's so the heater is very old. I had tried a few other HVAC companies but they never got the problem completely solved leaving us freezing last winter! One phone call to these guys and they got it up and running in no time!! I would definitely refer anyone to Anza Plumbing & Heating!!

I called them today because my heater isn't turning on. I think it is something easy like a pilot, but I'm not positive. I was happy that they called me back right away on a Saturday but was very upset with the tone of the conversation.

The person who called me seemed annoyed that I had bothered him. He said they could come out but that the charge would be 82.50 regardless of the issue and it would be applied to the fix. That's fine, but I think this is a super easy fix and I wanted my husband to take a look. I also said that I didn't want to pay nearly $100 just for a quote. He replied that ""it's must be nice for you to get work that you don't pay for, but I have to make money."" I replied that I just didn't want to pay $82.50 if it was just a pilot and he said ""we'll, that's what we charge.""

Maybe they do a good job, I honestly don't know, but the attitude was such a turn off that I will never find out. If you're in a service industry you should be personable. I got a higher quote elsewhere, but at least they were nice about it.

I just moved to Torrance, and was setting up my washing machine. I had to replace a couple of leaking fittings and, in the process, I broke a PVC water supply pipe. This was almost 10:00 at night, and I couldn't turn the water supply back on until I fixed the pipe, and I knew I couldn't do the repair myself. So, in a panic at this point, I got on the internet and starting looking for 24/7 plumbing repair services. I called a bunch of numbers, and got a bunch of answering machines and answering services. After getting pretty frustrated, I finally came upon Anza Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning. I was surprised when a real person answered the phone, and I was even more surprised when I found out it was the owner of the company (Fred). Fred listened to my sad story, and politely told me that there wasn't much we could do at the time, because the plumbing supply houses were all closed, and he would need to get the parts in the morning. I wasn't looking forward to doing without water all night, but I had few options and I felt like Fred was being straight with me. So, we set up an appointment for the next morning. Next morning came, and I had slept through my alarm and had missed Fred when he came. I called Fred as soon as I finally woke up, and Fred said he would come back in a couple of hours. Sure enough, he came, figured out what parts he needed, went to get them, came back and did the repairs. He was fast, professional, and very friendly. And I absolutely could not believe what he charged me for the job. I probably would have paid 3 times the amount if I had gone with one of the answering service companies I had tried the night before. I am so thankful that I lucked upon Fred and Anza PHAC. This is a real local company, run by a real local person, and he is dependable, honest, and does a great job. I will definitely use Anza the next time I have a plumbing emergency, or any other plumbing or heating need. Thumbs up!!

Summary
For Pluming, Plumbing repair, Heating and Air Conditioning, these guys are AWESOME!
I had a commercial job that another contractor totally screwed up. So bad in fact that
I interviewed over 10 different contractors and no one wanted to undo the damage done byTri-T (the other contractor). Fred Gomez was referred to me by Smarden supply one of the best plumbing supply companies in the area. So I knew he was good. Fred came in and fixed all the problems, he then got me three HVAC units at a cost of less than 50% of my other quotes. He installed the giant units on the roof without a hitch. He came in and plumbed the entire system. He showed up, he did what he said he was going to do and he gave me a great deal.
I have since used him on numerous other jobs, big and small. He ran some gas lines in my home. He hooked up a humidity and temperature controlled system I needed.
But lets get down to brass tax, when you are looking for a contractor here are the three biggees
1- Quality work
2- Price
3-Dependablity.

This was a big, big job and I had minimal issues afterward, in fact every issue I had was related to the use of the system, even though Fred walked us through it, we didn't get everything, so he did it a few other times. As for other work he did for me, including plumbing repair in my home, He has never once had to come back. It was done right and done right the first time. He always shows up on the job and his guys are respectable, smart, clean and efficient.
Price
I figure that he runs pretty lean and mean, because he beat everyone else on every job I have sent his way.
Dependability:
He has come back whenever I called him and did not charge for it. He answers his phone when you call. He shows up when he says he will.

First time customer with Anza PHAC. Furnace broke down on a cold Fri night. Called on Sat morning. Fred arrived less than two hours later and diagnosed issue (shorted out PC board). Returned on Monday afternoon (Christmas Eve of all days) and replaced PC board with no extra charge for weekend/holiday service. Very friendly and helpful.

I have used these guys many times and they do GREAT work. I recently bought a new house with a major plumbing problem that the property inspector didn't notice. Fred did the job for significantly less than the other 2 quotes I got. They were under the house all day doing major work, and they emerged after sunset, covered in mud, and the job was done. I highly recommend them.
