Typical las Vegas contractor hired by various home warranty companies.
Here's how it works. Covered item fails and you get referred to a contractor. Contractor comes out and confirms the problem. My most recent experience was for a leaking water heater. Pretty simple job to replace existing water heater.
But no, all of a sudden it needs ""modifications.""
In my case it was over $700 for modifications needs that didn't exist. The water heater was being provided by the warranty company.
I've been managing my own portfolio of rental properties since the 80's, and this is not the first time I've experienced a contractor trying to take advantage of me.
By the way I hired another plumber who replaced the water heater for less than the so called modifications would have cost .

I used my home warranty, they came out!! First of all the wanna charge me 775.00 over hone warranty price!!! I spoke to a couple of other plumbers and was told I didn't need ALL those extra things!!! Besides trying to get extra money from me!!! It's been almost a week, I haven't heard from them ,they won't answer or return any phone calls

Listen to all the reviews on them I had a hot water heater go out I went through my warranty (first American) smh , thus company tried to charge me $675 for modifications and hoses that i dont need , heck no they're scamming so I took the cash out and found my own contractor and paid way less then what they're were trying to charge... big scammers

I am with all the folks that provided a 1 star rating. This Company is absolutely the worst. I was referred to them via my Home Warrantee company to replace my leaking hot water heater. The initial phone call with Chance Roberts was fine and the inspection by Chris was fine. After that, it went off the cliff. As others have written, I can confirm their extremely questionable business practices...""modifications"" that cost $725.00 to install a replacement water heater...through my Home Warrantee company...I don't think so! Here is their breakdown of costs I was quoted:

Modifications
Hard pipe modification $325
T&P drain line modification $ 120
Gas line modification $ 115
Flue vent modification $ 115
Pan with modified piping $ 50
Total amount $725

I called to question these costs and just got crickets. I could get the Henderson gal to answer the phone, but even after leaving multiple messages to have somebody (Chance Roberts) call me back to discuss this, he never did.

I'm getting a cash pay-out from my Home Warrantee and will find my own contractor to perform the installation. I have also complained to my Home Warrantee company and told them to not use this company as a referral source. If they continue to, I'll probably not be renewing my home warrantee. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel...

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM USING THIS COMPANY!!! Any 5 star ratings must either be weird/lucky one-offs, or them posting their own comments.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!
They came out to change my water heater and charged me over $700 in ""modifications"" which were not performed.
I took before and after pictures and none of the modifications I was charged for were done. Have to repeatedly call them over and over because they never answer their phone. When they finally answered they said the best they can do is refund me $300. I replied what am I being charged for? They said ""the modifications"". NOTHING WAS MODIFIED!!!! I asked for the managers number, which they were unable to give me. I was told I would receive a call from their manager and have yet to hear anything. They will not answer the phone. Please stay away from this worthless company.

Biggest SCAM artists in town ! If you get a home warranty job assigned through them they will tell you that $800 in ""extra modifications "" are required to simply change a water heater like for like.

Gas Line: $115
This is to modify the gas line in order to install a drip leg/sediment trap to prevent failure to the gas control valve.

Drain Pan: $50
This is for a drain pan that sits underneath the unit to help prevent secondary damage if it were to leak in the future.

Hard Pipe Modification: $325
This is to modify the hot and cold water lines and replace the flex lines and the ball valve. These are one time use parts so we must replace them for every installation.

Flue Vent Modification: $115
This is to modify the flue vent by pulling and resetting or removing/adding. The manufacturers of water heaters change the dimensions of the units every couple of years or so, which is why we need to make these modifications to fit onto the new water heater.

Temperature & Pressure Drain Line Modification:$120
This is to modify the copper drain line for the temperature and pressure relief valve. We have to make this modification for the line to fit correctly on the new water heater so that any excessive pressure or heat can release safely.

Dispatched through my home warranty. Replaced my water heater. Some out of pocket expense but that's expected when going through a home warranty. Tech was on time and I have a new water heater and hot water!

Any time home services was great!! I had a leak in my home and they came out the same day. They answered all of my questions and were able to repair the leak quickly. I would highly recommend giving them a call.

This company is based in Arizona with a telephone receptionist who takes notes to relay to the manager. The manager, Sarah, never called back! They also insisted on getting paid before the job was completed.

I had to hire another contractor to correct the problem. I have filed a complaint with NV Contractors Board.

Very bad customer service , NEVER answer the phone , they charging you in advance for the service and do not provide what they promise.
When they answered the phone and told them that they did not provided the service and ask to refunded the money they hang up on me and do not answer again.
Going to sue them.
