I began my company to have additional time with my family and to be able to take them to and from their school.
I've always run additional ventures even working full time positions for others. Previously, I managed two regular jobs and a secondary role during weekends and I also ran a modest lawn care operation that expanded to the point that I dedicated myself to it entirely. Then, I transferred to Slidell and sold the lawn service. I attempted vending, but it wasn't successful. I also explored vehicle sales, but that wasn't successful. I did in the trucking industry for a few years before my son was born, but I found it difficult to being gone so much. After that, I sold shrimp in Arkansas every other weekend for one shrimp season and performed well until the next season when there came several other sellers up there and I learned I was going to have a daughter. Thus, I launched Anything Assembled. Then, people began inquiring if I was able to perform more services and in 2 years, I changed the name to Anything Fixed or Assembled.
