I launched my company to spend extra time with my kids and so I could drop them to and from school.
I have consistently managed side businesses throughout working full time positions for others. At one point, I balanced two regular roles and a weekend role for extra income and I also managed a modest lawn care service that expanded to the point that I focused myself to it exclusively. After that, I relocated to Slidell and sold the lawn service. I explored vending, but it didn't work out. I also explored vehicle sales, but that failed. I did in the trucking industry for a few years up until my son was born, but I couldn't handle being absent so much. After that, I sold shrimp in Arkansas bi-weekly for one shrimp season and performed well until the next season during which there came several other vendors up there and I found out I was going to have a daughter. So, I founded Anything Assembled. Subsequently, people started wondering if I was able to perform additional work and in 2 years, I renamed the name to Anything Fixed or Assembled.
