I never got to see his work. I called for an estimate. Patrick said he would contact me later that day or the next day. Here I am 4 days later and he never got back to me. I had two other contractors out and have chosen one to do our dry wall work in 1 bedroom. Maybe he felt the job was too big or too small, I do not know because he blew me off.

Patrick got back to me and said with the warm weather he got slammed with calls. he said he took on too much and apologized about the missed appointment. I get it!

I have a few rental properties and wanted a handy man service who could help me with the little fixes. I found Patrick on Yelp. He had amazing reviews, so I scheduled an appointment. He didn't have any availability for two weeks. I finally got an appointment on 11/12/14 for 10am. At 10:10am, I texted him, asking if he was close. He responded about 5 minutes later saying an emergency happened and asked if he could have my tenant's contact information to reschedule.... No. If an emergency happens and you know you have an appointment coming up, let your appointment know. I should not have had to contact him.

I'm so disappointed! I was excited to find someone who could do those little tenant fixes I don't have time for.

I sent Patrick an email to see if he would fix a leaky toilet. He responded promptly, and we were able to get an appointment set-up quickly. His quoted price was very reasonable when compared to other quotes I received, so I decided to go with Patrick.

The day of the appointment, he was timely, professional, and very courteous. The service was quick and very closely aligned to the quoted price. If I have a need for help around the house again, I will definitely call Patrick! I was definitely dreading this appointment, but Patrick exceeded all of my expectations!

I had a few small jobs I needed completed around the house, and spent a long time looking for a handyman that would come to Evanston. I tried calling the Fix It Company, as they were recommended by my management company, but they never returned my calls or scheduled the service.

Enter Patrick. He returned my email promptly and was so helpful and polite! I contacted him on Monday, and we scheduled an appointment for that Sunday. He showed up on time, worked efficiently, and was a very nice, friendly guy. Normally I don't like to have men in the condo when I'm alone, but I would feel comfortable having Patrick come back to fix something else, even if I was home alone. His rates are also very reasonable.

It's been a few weeks, and everything Patrick fixed is working perfectly. Highly recommend! Will definitely use him in the future, and will be recommending him to everyone I know who needs a handyman. You will not regret hiring him!

Well, I have to be upfront and say that I never used his service, but after an initial call telling him what I needed done- he told me to text message him a photo of the repair. He said though that he could do the job but just wanted to see what type of radiators they were. I needed radiators disconnected and capped (not moved), so that the sandblaster could come out and remove them to their shop (they wouldn't disconnect). I sent pictures and believe I was pretty clear about what I needed done. I actually am pretty handy but at the time I was waiting to find out if I was pregnant (no stooping or lifting). I also am without anyone else to call. So, after texting and then receiving a text message asking again what I needed done- I never got a return call or text. So, if you can't do something or if the job is too small, you should say so- I was on a time schedule and had to have things firmly arranged. Luckily I kept calling around and finally got someone who agreed to come out (now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed they show up).


Well at least the owner had contacted me back after my review and apologized. That's more than most would do. Humility is important and Id consider using them.

After a bad experience with another handyman who disappeared for 3 hours when he went to buy a new pole for a closet, I read the Yelp reviews and hired Patrick. He came on time, worked quickly and professionally, even when we ran into the inevitable complications of dealing with an older building. He was friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and fast. I highly recommend him. About to call him again right now.
