This review is overdue but I felt the need to put this in still. I had a hell of a day awhile ago trying to figure out why my hot water heater was broken....called a bunch of handymen and to no avail no one could help me out. Came across Patrick who actually picked up the phone when I called and he was super nice. He could be over shortly. I was relieved especially having gone more then I'd like without any hot water and I was stressing out. He assessed the situation, fixed the water heater within a short amount of time and was on his way. Oh and he tightened up my loose faucet in the kitchen because he noticed it, how nice. The whole time he worked he was so polite, friendly and honest, eliminating my stress. He didn't charge me an arm and a leg. It was reasonable. I would definitely recommend him and use him again should something else come up!

This review is almost 4 years late. Patrick turned out to be the best of the handymen we've used. Not only does he provide you with the highest quality of craftsmanship, his price point is reasonable. He is honest, reliable and full of integrity. I'm glad we found him. He is my husband's go to whenever he needs some handyman work done at any of his properties. I love reminding my husband that it was I who found him through Yelp!!!

I purchased a projector a few months ago and was really tired of the plug running to an extension cord and looking awful. I needed an outlet and a space to run cables on the ceiling by the projector. I requested quotes a couple times through various sites but either the electrican would not provide a quote or their quote would be something like 3 hours at 500 total. Finally, patrick responded quickly to a last ditch request for quotes through yelp before I bought one of those cheesy extension cord through wall solutions on amazon. Patrick arrived right on time. Worked very quickly and was done in about an hour. Very happy with the work he did. I will definitely be calling him back when I need a job done. My only regret is not finding him sooner

I am not a helpless girl, so when I decided to update my bathroom by changing all the fixtures I didn't think I was going to need a handyman. I was able to get everything done - removal of medicine cabinet, change light fixture and replace bathroom hardware - except for my towel bar. I measured and then measured again and the holes that were drilled into my ceramic tile were a 1/4"" too short and the prior towel bar was forced on.

Never having to drill through tile, I knew I was out of my league. I went to friends and realtors first for a guy who could do the job at a reasonable price. None of their recommendations panned out, so I went to yelp. Patrick was the 10th handyman I contacted regarding this job and the only one who responded quickly, provided a quote and was able to come the same day (not that I needed it done immediately but it was a perk). He showed up on time and was done within the hour (I had two companies quote this as a 2-3 hr job that I needed to pay for the drill bit on top of the hourly rate in top of travel time). He was able to drill in the tile near the prior holes so those are now covered and I have a towel bar again in my bathroom.

This is my first experience with Patrick from AnyFix.

My elderly mother had a leaking faucet. Water was flowing out onto the counter and into her toaster and coffee maker while I was in another state, over a thousand miles away.

I contacted AnyFix via text to describe the situation after discovering the advertised services here on Yelp. I noticed the reviews were mixed so I was a tad reluctant but AnyFix came through with flying colors. Patrick immediately returned my text message to set up an appointment. His first appointment opening was two days later. I contacted him on Saturday and he did the work on Monday.

He went to my mom's house as scheduled and fixed the faucet problem at a much better rate than a local plumber would have. I am sold, I will definitely be using Patrick for all my handyman needs in the future. It's inspiring to find a trustworthy handyman in the Chicago area I can count on.

Patrick helped us with several small projects around the house -- painting, small repairs, etc. He was professional, had a reasonable rate, and was very tidy. We will contact him to bid on future projects.

I never got to see his work. I called for an estimate. Patrick said he would contact me later that day or the next day. Here I am 4 days later and he never got back to me. I had two other contractors out and have chosen one to do our dry wall work in 1 bedroom. Maybe he felt the job was too big or too small, I do not know because he blew me off.

Patrick got back to me and said with the warm weather he got slammed with calls. he said he took on too much and apologized about the missed appointment. I get it!
