I have been using Anthony for several years now, ever since my previous AC contractor retired. He is friendly and knowlegeable. He referred me to a pest control company (Enviro-Care) when I had him here to repair chewed wiring going from the air handler to thermostat.

Prices are quite reasonable and he is fast at diagnosing and repairing issues afflicting your heating/cooling system.

Our AC broke a few weeks ago during the current Summer heat wave. I work for the Home Depot so my initial reaction was to contact them. They came out and told us we needed a brand new air conditioner and furnace. They quoted us over $10,000! Then my son referred me to Tony. He came out very quickly and told us that no we didn't need a brand new air conditioner or furnace. We needed some new parts and repair. He was friendly and showed up on time. They arrived at 9am and were done by 4pm, oh and the cool air was blowing!! We are grateful to Tony and very highly recommend him if you have any HVAC needs.

I contacted Anthony's Reliable to get a second opinion on my heater unit. It was easy to get in touch and schedule an appointment that met my time restraints.

First impressions: Tony showed up on time and was courteous.

Tony communicated clearly and was able to address my concerns in layman's terms so I was able to easily follow along and understand. He expressed his professional opinion and gave me a number of options to choose from on how to resolve my issues.

Tony should have been my first choice. Now I know, should I ever have any issues regarding heating or air, Tony will be my first call!

Great service, showed up on time and were extremely helpful for my HVAC needs. We purchased a new home here in the OC area and wanted to make sure our old heat pump/furnace was dialed in with our Nest unit. Not only did they help with that, but they explained our system, made some changes to the heat pump to make the powering more efficient and helped me understand how to keep filters and system working smooth. Other companies called immediately started selling me on new units, but this team actually helped with what I have and simply made future recommendations (ours is from 89', works on freon and has a couple years left till replacement since freon is being banned). As a Realtor and OC resident, I'll be using Anthony's Reliable moving forward!

Total scam artists. Won't honor warranty!
I had Anthony replace a capacitor about a year ago. They should last for several years however it stopped working about 10-11months in. I had called several companies to come out for an estimate before I knew it was the capacitor. Once I was told it WAS the capacitor I called Anthony because I was still under warranty. When he arrived he told me the capacitor is totally fine and that it was an electrical issue. I told him I just had another technician tell me IT WAS the capacitor and he never mentioned electrical.
I had two different opinions from two different technicians so of course I had to get another opinion. In fact I got TWO more opinions just to confirm. BOTH of the additional technicians that came out said it was the capacitor. I called Anthony AGAIN and again he kept trying to spin it around and blame it on everything/everyone else and would NOT honor my warranty. I had to pay an additional $180 to replace the capacitor and sure enough my AC started working again.

So even after 3 technicians came out for an estimate and ALL THREE of them told me the capacitor went out Anthony STILL didn't honor my warranty to replace it. Again he tried to find every excuse to not do it, blaming everything from my plants obstructing the unit to my electrical.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON COMPANY!!

Technician came out to the house, was very nice but couldn't find any issues. No problem, better safe than sorry.

After he left my wife noticed the heat was not working, then the thermostat was not working. We tried calling a number of times since he was at our residence, roughly 3 hours ago. Still no call back and no response.

To have a technician come out and say there were no issues (which originally was for a possible leaking condenser line) and now nothing is functional on our unit? Unreal. This speaks volumes...

If we didn't have children who sleep upstairs, which their rooms are now at 65 degrees and dropping, this would not be a big deal: but in this situation, it's a huge deal.

Proceed to use their services with caution.


**Got home from a 12 hour work day and opened up my furnace, still no call by the way; and to my surprise I see my filter mangled... and surprise! The dumb a$$ technician decided it convenient to leave a connector unplugged causing a code 13 error to populate on my furnace. I will never in my life refer anyone to this business.

I just want to say Anthony's Reliable Heating and Air Conditioning are a far more superb company than any other HVAC companies I've used. One call did it all. They always pick up when I've called and arrival times are spot on.
Incredibly clean company came in diagnosed and repaired our AC and Heating and our electricity bill shows it!
Thank you gentlemen too for being courteous as well to Mom and the siblings.

I called Anthony's based on the Yelp reviews and was very glad I did. He was prompt in returning a call, scheduling an appointment, and giving me 30 min warning on the day of the appointment. He was knowledgable, friendly, and patient (while I looked over his shoulder) and resolved the problem with my secondary A/C unit.

A week later my main A/C unit went out (this was during the heat wave in Aug '15), he found that is was a bad condenser and did the repair. The repair cost was fair based on previous experience with other A/C companies

I just saw some of the other reviews and it seems strange because I didn't experience any of their issues

This is the worse service company I have ever experienced. My air conditioner was out or order 2 weeks ago and I thought I would support my neighborhood business as much as possible so I picked up the closest service company in Fullerton, even they did not get the best review but seemed owner gave some valid reasoning. So I called. Answering machine picked up the call and I understood they were busy so I left my name, phone number and mentioned that I lived around Rosecrans and Gilbert area, hoping I'd got a return call within a few days. It won't take a minute to say something like ""We are very busy, you are the number 100 in the waiting list, the expect waiting time would be 10 days, we'll contact you as soon as possible"". Something like that from a service company would be a very standard practice and won't take one minutes, right? But no, never receive a response. Guess your business is too good to have a new customer but I doubt the quality of service with this type of attitude.
