You can anticipate superior AC, furnace, plumbing, and electrical repairs and implementations along with our renowned service experience. Our team are certified by NATE and participate in regular training to keep up with current plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical technologies. We serve homes in the entire KC metro area. Our goal is to focus on our clients first. Our legacy dates back to 1951 and Tony D'Agostino. Tony and Mayme D'Agostino established Anthony Plumbing in 1951 in the basement of their residence in Prairie Village, KS. As we grew, so did the family, growing five sons to the staff. Paul, the eldest began in the company like many others, supporting his father. In the year 1999, Paul became the only owner of Anthony Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. In the year 2007, he transferred ownership to Burbridge (former owner of Neal Harris) and Cecil Davis (former service manager of Neal Harris). Maintaining the heritage, Anthony Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, & Electric is still considered the Premier Home Service Provider in the Kansas City Metro, extending out to the Lawrence area.

Steve gained a great deal about the plumbing and HVAC industry from his father, Ralph. Ralph was the owner of Waldo Plumbing & Heating and then purchased Neal Harris Heating, AC & Plumbing in 1982 when it was a one-truck operation with two staff members. Steve committed to grow the company to new standards by offering superior service with “Technicians You Can TRUST With Your House Keys.”

I had your team out to snake a drain, and during the visit, I was told there was a crack in my pipe that would cost $4,000 to repair. Conveniently, you had a crew available the next day to do the work.

To validate this, I brought in two independent licensed plumbers for second opinions. Both confirmed there is only a minor kite line crack--nothing that justifies the extensive work or cost you quoted.

I've paid the $79 service fee, but based on this experience, I will not be recommending or using your services again.

Job was done well. My only hesitation to give a 5 star is that I had emailed to hold on the job because I need additional approval over a certain amount. The day the technician came I was not in the office that day but received a call that the service provider had arrived and was actually doing the job. It was partly my fault on my end because I had not communicated to our front desk my hold instruction -- since I hadn't actually sent an approval to do the job at the price quoted, I didn't expect him to come.

I went ahead and paid the service fee safter inspecting job with some hesitation because I wasn't sure cost calculation was correct. Anyway done. But if I use them again in future all the above will have to be made clear.

I had Anthony out 2 times to open a clogged mainline. The first person did a good job but the line got slow again and I scheduled a camera that is free of charge to come out the following week. In the mean time, they sent another drain tech and he managed bust 2 holes in my main line. The camera man came out and found the 2 holes that the 2nd tech wrote in his report that he did damage the main line. There were other issues below ground that is not Anthony's issue, but my line was in tact prior to the visit and now it is now. I get a call from a very unprofessional young lady stating that they are not going to fix the damage they did due to a disclosure I had evidently signed prior to opening the drain. The fine print. But the Camera tech said if we use them to jet the main line from my mobile home to the street, which is where the issue is. The property manager chose another company to use since they are responsible for that area of line, so now Anthony refuses to fix the holes their tech made. So we will be going to small claims court to see what the judge says. Be careful with Anthony Plumbing.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY... THEY WILL YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!

We had been loyal customers of Anthony's for years, relying on them twice a year to inspect and assess our furnace and AC. Unfortunately, our recent experience was extremely disappointing and has completely changed our view of the company.

During the latest visit, their technician Angela claimed our furnace had multiple holes and needed immediate replacement. Shortly after, a sales representative was sent to give us a quote -- $13,000, even after a 10% discount.

We reviewed their video and couldn't see any holes. That raised red flags, so we brought in two independent HVAC companies to inspect the unit. Both confirmed there were no holes, and no replacement was needed.

We later discovered that Anthony's technicians work on commission, and we suspect they use scare tactics to push unnecessary replacements in order to increase their earnings. That approach doesn't work on us -- we pushed back, challenged their claims, and ultimately told them we would no longer be doing business with them.

We strongly caution anyone considering Anthony's -- unless you're absolutely desperate, we recommend avoiding them. In our experience, they appeared more focused on sales than honest service.

Their quotes are very high and not reasonable at all. Quoted $700 to replace a wax ring on a toilet. We tightened bolts at Recommendation of a relative and fixed the problem.
Grandson called to fix a cartridge in a bathtub faucet. Tech said would have to cut a bigger hole in wall to fix and estimated $2,000. We called another company and got the problem fixed for just under $600, which still seemed high, but they didn't have to cut any holes in the wall either. Should have read reviews first.

I've been a member of Anthony's Plumbing, Heating and Cooling program for about a year and a half. We had a small leak in one of our showers which needed a new cartridge. The cartridge is what the value needs to blend hot and cold water and adjusts the amount of water pressure.

I normally use Anthony's Heating and Cooling for my HVAC and Furnace maintenance. And they're okay. Always upselling something or finding something to replace, which isn't cheap.

On this visit, the technician was friendly and respectful. He quoted 2 prices, one for replacing the cartridge and one for replacing the entire valve. The cartridge replacement was around $500 and $2,400 for a valve replacement (which I couldn't afford).

He (the technician) worked to get the cartridge out but was unable to do it. And $2,400 wasn't going to work for us. He did charge me for coming out ($90) and $50 for not being able to complete the work.

I called another company, and they came out to look at the leak. This technician assessed the issue and said he'd be able to replace the cartridge but needed a special tool to remove the one that was ceased in the valve. He went out, bought the tool, returned promptly and replaced it. The cost was $350.

It seems to me that most customers, especially seniors who are on fixed incomes, are being dupped by this company ... their technicians are friendly, but mostly inexperienced. They look for issues to rip customers off and they are not cheap.

So beware ... Anthony Heating and Cooling isn't your friend.

This company tried intercepting my home warranty service and tried charging me an additional $119.95 after I already paid my warranty company. Curious how they got my personal information after I only contacted my warranty company.

I reached out to Anthony Heating/Cooling to install a ceiling fan in my new home. They could not give me an estimate on what this would cost and charged me for a service call just to tell me it would cost $400 plus the service fee- 3x the cost of the ceiling fan itself! Had they provided me with even a "" ballpark figure "" for this service I would not have even called them out. How unethical! The electrician they sent out was polite and professional; I WILL NOT BE USING ANTHONY HEATING AND COOLING EVER AGAIN!

I made an appointment on 11-23-24 for dec 7th which is a Saturday. they did not give me a time. Not a four our window, not A.M., and not P.M. but I went with it anyway. Due to not having a specific time I had to give up my entire Saturday as I did not know when they were going to show. all that was said to me was that they would call 30 mins prior. oh wait...I did receive a call from them 4 days prior to the appointment on the 7th asking me to join a maintenance program that would be a monthly or quarterly fee or something...I'm glad I did not say yes. I waited....then at 1pm I received a call from the technician that they would not be able to make the appointment. no explanation. asked me if I wanted to reschedule for Sunday and I declined as I'm not giving my entire weekend to this appointment. you cant count on them evidently. I'm sure I'm the exception.
