Really great service and such a nice guy. Identified the problem with a sink installation that was causing a leak, and went the extra mile in reinstalling everything, even so far as to modify our sink hardware with his bench grinder so it was better than he found it. All with a smile! Can't recommend highly enough. Will use again!!

Jarred is awesome. I can't recommend him enough. He helped us fix a few problems in a new house and install a toilet after we ran into some problems trying to do it ourselves. He was super friendly, explained everything he was doing, what the problems were, how he was fixing them, and tips for us in the future. Happy to have found someone we can count on!

Just to update my review from 2010. It has been MANY years, and we are still huge fans of Jarred and Answer Plumbing. He has conscientiously taken care of our aging facility (and with high school students, believe me, this building gets a work-out), and I can't thank him enough. Other vendors have come and gone (HVAC, electrician, refrigeration...), but Jarred remains because he's dependable, responsive and dedicated. Thumbs up!

We called several plumbers, left numerous voice messages, and Jarred was the first one to respond letting us know he'd be able to come over. Jarred arrived right on time, introduced himself, and started to put on his shoe covers. From the get go, our 1st impression of Jarred was very good. Jarred began asking me questions about our plumbing issue and was able to quickly proceed with his troubleshooting. We're very impressed with his thoroughness explaining to us the cause of the problem and his recommendations. He hasn't completed the job yet, but so far we're very pleased with what Jarred has done and we're confident he will do a thorough job fixing our plumbing issue. Very highly recommended.

I can't recommend these guys enough. I was in dire straights with a clogged pipe causing our kitchen to get flooded every time the neighbors upstairs turned on their dishwasher.

I was able to get a hasty appointment with Answer Plumbing. They showed up on time. They're super friendly. Their pricing is fair and transparent. They got the job done quickly and effectively, and they even cleaned up the floors of my kitchen when they were done.

Super stoked to know a plumber I can rely on in San Francisco.

I just had the greatest experience with Answer Plumbing. They came on very short notice to fix my badly clogged kitchen sink and garbage disposal. Not only were they prompt, but they were friendly, professional, and very respectful of our space--I was at home with our baby! I'm especially grateful for Jarred, who walked me through what the problem was and how he was addressing it. I can honestly say that I've never felt the need to write a Yelp review... until I met Jarred. Jarred answered my calls promptly, texted me back when he said he would, and arrived on time to our appointment (like literally on the dot!). He was so wonderful, professional, and knowledgeable, always explaining what he was doing along the way. When he finished the job he came to do, he even worked on something else that wasn't scheduled and tested things over and over to make sure they were perfect. He's an all-around great guy and I highly highly recommend him.

We spent the time and got 5 different estimates and the range was about $100 off, between price and attitude Jarred is by far the most courteous and upper middle of the park (Ace, Discount, Works Plumbing, O'Grady was the worst).

One of Jarred's guys answered his phone, made an appointment, we called the night before to remind them; 3 guys showed up (more or less on time but they called and said they'd be late), and did the job.

We paid about $475.00 for changing an off take valve, replacing a waste and water line for a dishwasher, running a copper water line and hooking it up to the fridge. There was some inexperience (one of the guys hooked up the wrong valve to the wrong line and had to redo it, so I guess Jarrod was training the other 2); but I caught it in time so no harm.

Did we over pay for the work? Yeah a little (if you take $30.00 off the valve and $10.00 for the piping it's $435), we didn't need three guys; but they brought booties for their feet, had a good attitude, cleaned up after themselves.

Jarred charges by the hour and they took 2 1/2 hours. They billed me for the time to get the valve and piping.

I'd use Jarred again. But, I'd recommend if you hire him, go through exactly what you need done before and after and make sure they show you what exactly they did. Agree to more or less the time needed to do the job before hand.

Which, with Jarred's good attitude and the team's general good attitude, wouldn't seem to be a problem. They're nice guys.
