The crew minorly broke something while working on a bigger job--which is totally understandable--but Anne has repeatedly refused to fix it, and the company is now stating that the reason they won't fix it is because we stated our displeasure with the fact that it wasn't fixed. They even made false accusations on the phone. Go with a company that will stand behind their work, not one that refuses to fix things they broke.

And as you can see from the comments below, they are continuing to say things that are not true. They were notified at the time they broke the item and again more recently when already at our house for another small job--when asked more recently they refused to fix it because ""they did not have time.""

Anne was able to come by the next day after I called to remove some baseboard heating and pipes from my downstairs bathroom. She completed the job in around an hour and tested my furnace to make sure everything was working as expected still. Anne did a great job and was very professional and explained everything she was going to do before doing it. I'm happy with her work and I would hire her again for another job.

I liked hiring a ""woman-owned business"" however they billed us significantly higher than the estimate without discussing it with us before hand. Second, they did not complete the work they were hired to do. Third, before finishing the work (Phase 2), we received an email that they would no longer come to our area due to high gas prices. I was forced to hire another plumber who had to fix the work of ""Anne the Plumber"" in order to complete the job accurately.
I am not normally a complainer but this was unacceptable and unprofessional.

Above and beyond service from the plumber sent by Anne the Plumber. He's diagnosed the issue quickly with our bathroom sink that stopped working, and fixed it the same day at a reasonable price.

Do not hire. They charged me twice what they quoted and when I tried to call all I got was voicemail which no one returned. I'm on a fixed income- that money will have to come out of food or medicine. The toilet started leaking again the next week anyway! FRAUD!

I used to really like Anne the Plumber. I like supporting woman owned businesses, but its been hard to use them lately because the prices are always a lot higher than everyone else's. She did multiple small and large jobs for me in the past. However, despite the high fees, she now refuses to fix incorrect installations. She also charged $85 extra to talk on the phone for a few minutes to the company that makes my shower to explain which part was needed to them. Isn't figuring out which part you need part of the job? I have never had someone charge me extra for figuring out what part I need. Then she put the shower handle on sideways and its hard to shut the shower off now, but she won't come back to realign it. So I paid her almost $500 for 90 minutes of work (which on my wages with a graduate degree, cost me 14 HOURS of time to make! Hey, the world's not fair, fine. But at least be wiling to TRY to fix the install error!), and the shower can't be shut off properly. She claims its old and can't be fixed, but being old doesn't explain why the shower handle has to go on now 90 degrees off center when it was on center when she arrived. Sad that she can't take 5 minutes to put it on right when she is next in the neighborhood. Secretary was smug and disrespectful about it all and blamed me for ""insisting"" that Anne try to fix my shower. Say what?! :(

They had great online reviews and we were all scheduled to begin. Anne herself shows up to review the job and now tells us that she's not able to get to this for three of four weeks. The agreement was she was to begin the next day with the electricians following her next week. They want the work, may be good but are not professionals. Yes, they have hade and shirts but no clue about workflow or inner office communication.
Avoid or expect delays and excuses!

Anne and her apprentice showed up in masks, were very clean and quick to diagnose and repair the issues with my boiler as I was without heat and had a leak in my ceiling from an over pressured steam heat system. She gave me great advice on maintaining my boiler for the future and even on my hot water tank-which they weren't even there to service, just some added tips because I asked! Very professional and made me feel comfortable, happy with their work.
