When he was done, I was surprised that on our bill there was a 20% discount for Yelp customers! He was here a little over an hour and had to replace one part. It came out to $140. Very, very reasonable--

I had some guys from one of the big plumbing companies out to our house 3 times in the past week (including a supervisor). Not only did they did not fix the problem, but I actually think they made it worse. Then they tried to upsell me like crazy.

In desperation, we turned to Yelp, saw Andy's stellar reviews and gave him a call. Andy arrived at our house within an hour and fixed the issue in less than 45 minutes. Andy is a total professional. He is courteous, efficient, honest and his prices are reasonable.

Andy is great! I got Andy himself and he's really speedy, friendly, professional, and honest. I called him for a broken garbage disposal and he arrived promptly at our arranged time. He was very patient with my complicated parking situation and didn't even bill me for the half hour he spent looking for a spot.

Before he started, he gave me an estimate for what he thought was wrong along with the worst case scenario. The worst case scenario thankfully turned out to not be the case, but it was a slightly more complicated than expected (still only a $10 difference from the original quote). It turned out the drain had gotten super clogged after a quarter had fallen down the sink and shorted out the disposal's motor.

The best part is that he tutored me on how to reset the disposal so I can prevent it myself in the future. That alone shows he's an incredibly honest guy. He also gave me free advice on how I can fix another unrelated problem myself. I'm confident a bigger operation would have tried to talk me into buying a whole new disposal - which I was totally prepared to do, ugh - and no way they would have been humanitarian enough to give free advice and tutoring.

All said and done, after a 20% first-timer's discount, it was $120 to unclog the drain, take apart the garbage disposal, clean it out, and reinstall it. Not a bad deal at all, especially considering the advice that I'm sure will save me money in the future.

My girlfriend had a majorly clogged up tub in the back of her house, so I placed a call to Rescue Rooter for an appointment at 7pm. An hour after 7pm had come and gone with no sign of them, I decided to follow up with them to find the status of our appointment. Keep in mind this is a big company so they will give you the run around excuses. To make the a long story short, after calling them multiple times and constantly being told he was on his way, the dude finally showed up around 11pm. I was pissed and told the guy to go home and that I didn't need their services any more.
The next morning after calling various plumbers, I found Andy's plumbing on Yelp. Andy is a cool dude and he knows his stuff. He is very professional and honest and on time! He diagnosed the issue and fixed it at a very reasonable price. Andy is self-employed, so he will not give you the run around BS like the big plumbing companies out there. Your satisfaction is the most important thing to him, as you can see from all his other great Yelp reviews. I would highly recommend Andy if you're looking for a good plumber.

Everyone who has dealt with him knows that he is good and honest plumber but more importantly he is genuinely a good god fearing person.
I've call him out twice at my apartment, both times he has completed the job and gave me an honest assessment of the problem. He is special and one of kind plumber.

I am a apartment owner and had a main line blockage on a two story bldg. So I located Andy on yelp seemed to have great ratings so I thought id give him a try after failed attempts to contact my usual rooter service. Andy was on the phone and out to the building within a hour was very knowledgeable and quick. And his price was also very good so I asked him to call to set up another meeting to plumbing on a drain replacement job. I would recommend him completely.

5 Stars! Andy is top notch. I was really hesitant about finding a plumber on-line, but had a leak and saw Andy's reviews, so decided to go with him. I'm so pleased with the decision. Andy was easy to work with and asked relevant questions before taking the job in my downtown LA loft condo. Andy was true to his word on very fair with pricing. If I need any type of plumbing work done in the future, Andy will be getting the call.

Wow! Andy saved the day :) I called him because I was having major problems with our restrooms getting clogged. He went into detail about what the problem was and resolved it.
