I had several plumbers come out to take a look at my plumbing issue (which isn't simple when dealing with outdated piping in an old condominium complex).

Andy was able to show up quickly and provide me with a free quote which is always appreciated. Compared to other top rated plumbers I requested a quote from, his pricing was excellent ($2200 compared to $3-4K)!

He struck me as a very reasonable, friendly, and experienced licensed professional so I thought it was a no-brainer to go with him and am so grateful I did. I have some upcoming plumbing needs for the rest of my remodeling project and won't even bother calling anyone else for a quote the next time around. Andy's definitely my new go-to plumber!

When I called, Andy, the owner picked up. Very nice man, he was able to come out the same day. I had 2 sinks that were clogged, one of which was my kitchen sink with the garbage disposer. He saved me money and told me tips on how to keep up with the maintenance of my garbage disposer! I'm very happy with his services! Thank you Andy! Hint.... DO NOT USE DRÃNO!!!! We discovered a leak under our sink coming from our garbage disposer on a Friday afternoon. The plumber we used before wasn't available until maybe Saturday afternoon, so I started calling other plumbers - with only one answering the phone, but not available until the end of the day, maybe. Shortly after Andy called back, asked a few questions and had me text him a photo and my address - and made it here about an hour later. He got right to work replacing the disposer and the piping, working quietly but efficiently, every so often showing me what he was doing and why he recommended it. When this repair was finished, and he had cleaned up the area well, he agreed to check another drain we were having trouble with, quickly identifying the problem and then crawling under the house to make sure it finally could be fixed once and for all (after years of slow drainage) - which he made plans to come back on Saturday morning to finish up. His package deal pricing for both jobs was quite fair - and he was a genuinely nice guy too. Glad to have found another great local resource for the next time we have an issue - would definitely recommend him to you!

Had another great experience with Andy! My toilet overflowed and I needed it fixed asap! I tried contacting a bunch of plumbers and got a few estimates. One plumber tried telling me the line was infested with roots and it was broken. Andy cleared the line with no problem and his rate was reasonable.

Andy from Andy's plumbing and rooter is the most honest and trustworthy contractor i have meet. I needed to do sewer lines, 3 bathrooms and showers, a underground 1 1/2"" gas line for the pool. I also need to install a tankless water heater inside my garage with all the exhaust vents. Andy's plumbing crew were professional they got all the permits needed and passed the inspection, even thou my homes plumbing is very complicated. Thanks Andy and crew best plumbers ever. Andy seems to think that his time is worth more than the time of President of the United States :)

I invited Andy to give me a quote for a VERY simple job, just need to install the new shower valve and connect the already installed sink. After checking everything, he gave me a flat rate quote of $650.00. So I asked him how long would the job take ... He said that it'd take all day, I asked him to tell me the specific number of hours and within the first 5 second, the time went from 2 hours to 3 hours to maybe 4 hours ...

Realistically, I know that a simple job like that won't take more than 2 hours 'cause I've already had quotes from other plumbers and since I've had all of the materials, the whole $650 was just the cost of his labor, which means he wanted to charge me $325 per hour :)

As a comparison, US President's salary is $400k a year, if you divide that by 2000 avg. work hours per year you'll get $200 - normal hourly rate for a President of the United State :) Mr. Andy here thinks he should be making nearly 2x as much :) I barely held myself from laughing in his face when he told me that it wouldn't be fair to charge a client an hourly rate, 'cause he might need to go to a store to buy something for me and spend time in a traffic :) Unless he thought he'd spend in traffic over 10 hours, he really had nothing to worry about :)

Another comparison - an avg. salary of a plumber in the state of California is $26.22 (from the entry level of $15.10 to the expert of $47.52) yet for some reason, Andy seems to think that his time is 10x more valuable than any other plumber in CA :)

He also said that he has a min. charge of $150.00 which is absolute MAX that he should possibly ask for a 2-hour job and even, in that case, he'd be making $75/hr or almost 2x the amount of the most expensive plumber in the state.

So my advice - do not waste your time! He will NOT give you a fair flat rate fee and will refuse to work on an hourly rate basis.

I contacted Andy's Plumbing & Rooter last Monday due to a problem with my kitchen sink. The person who answered the phone was helpful and offered me a next day appointment. Since I was desperate I called three companies and Andy's Plumbing & Rooter had the best price and was the fastest to respond. They fixed my kitchen sink in forty five minutes, cleaned the mess and left.

more companies today and all quoted me $120-125... with the amount that I've already paid your guy Alberto, the work should've been done already! The fact that you're defending him saying $550 is a fair price says A LOT about you as a person
