Andy just got finished snaking out my main sewer line.
I called him because of all the other 5 star reviews and I have to say that Andy is definitely worthy of 5 star reviews and more.
For me, the most important feature of a good plumber is honesty. I had been scammed by another rooter plumber a week earlier, who didn't get the job done and I wanted to be very cautious choosing my next plumber.
I had roots in my main sewer line and he was able to cut through them with his high powered snake and 4"" blade. I saw the roots that were infesting the line when he pulled the snake out.
He charged me a very reasonable ""Yelp"" price for the job. I told him that I had another main in the back of the house and that I'd like to have him snake that main too, as it had problems in the past with roots and I didn't want it to get blocked up. He agreed to do it for a KILLER price for the 2 main lines if I would help him carry the heavy machine up the stairs that lead to the back. This machine is really, really heavy. I felt this was totally worth it because he pulled up a ton of roots from that main line too. It was only a matter of time before it got backed up as it has in the past.
Now I am going to get both mains snaked every 6 months so we don't get any more blockages and Andy will be my ""go to"" guy.
He has an easy going personality and we wound up chatting about different things as he worked on the line.
Hey Andy - Thanks for giving me a great deal, completing the job in a professional manner and for being an honest guy. Highly recommend!

All of Andy's 5 star reviews are well-deserved. He is quick and efficient and has great communication. He told me on the phone what he thought was happening with my sink and then came out the same day. He identified the problem and fixed it quickly. I think he finished under 30 minutes, which included making extra sure he fixed everything. He even checked my sink head and fixed a problem I had told him I'd have my condo association look into. 20% off for Yelpers. Andy's definitely my go-to plumber now.

I run a Los Angeles theater built in the 1920s. Needless to say, the plumbing gives us lots and lots of trouble. I have had to deal with 8 different plumbers in the last year, and Andy is by far the best. He answers his phone, shows up on time, does the work quickly and explains your problem and your various options clearly in a low-pressure and easy to understand manner. I use him every time I have a problem and he always fixes it right away.
