Cessa A.I live in Texas and needed a plumber for my house in Lawton. They came out to give me a quote after I reminded them of my limited time in town. I was given a verbal quote (laundry re-route) in December 2021. I was told they couldn't do the work until 2 months later. I've been calling a couple of times each week trying to get a quote on paper/email so we can schedule for March 2022. The ladies in the front office don't know anything and have to leave a note for Shane every time I call. I never get a call back. Seems as though they don't want my business. Spoke to the owner (wife) and she seemed disappointed in the verbal quote and was told to email her granddaughter Lauren to get my quote from Shane on paper/email. I sent floor plans and photos to refresh their memory along with the email to get my quote (doing business from Texas) and still no reply. If I can't get a quote in a reasonable time I doubt Andy's would be able to get the work done in a reasonable time (and my time is limited working from out of state). Looking for another plumber who is organized, timely, and professional.
I had to get a quote for my homeowners insurance. The lady that helped me on the phone was really nice and professional. She sent me a write up for my insurance company as soon as I got off the phone with her.
Oda W.I would like to give a gigantic thank you to Shane the office manager and he works in the field. We had 4 to 5 different plumbing companies out trying to fix our problem with the sewer. Prior to Shane nobody could figure it out. Shane threw every tool and piece of equipment he had at the problem and got it figured out and resolved! Shane is a really nice, professional and knowledgeable plumber. He never gave up and we have been up and running with no problems for about 2 months now. I want to give a special compliment to his wife Lauren, Mother-n-law and I believe it's John and Tom who assisted. Guys please don't waste your time calling anyone else with your challenges. I have done all the work for you! Call Shane or Lauren at Andy's Plumbing, Lawton, oklahoma.
Brian L.Probably the worst service I've ever experienced! I called for an appointment to move some plumbing lines on a laundry room that was being remodeled. The plumber showed up, looked at the job and told me he was headed to get the parts needed and would be back after lunch. When he left, their office called and said I would need to be rescheduled for Friday possibly Tuesday. I never heard from them again! I guess they only want to do simple jobs that they can overcharge people for! I would never recommend this company!
Andy's has always been great over the years. And I've gotten to know the individual workers. But today Saturday June 12th my air stopped working and they always had an emergency answering service. When I called the number it goes to speak to a representative press 0 and it keeps going to busy signal. I've sent them a message to their web page and to email. This just doesn't make sense cuz I've always had an emergency services with them
Roseann M.I called have them come out!
They say they were supposed to come out, I called to confirm and they could not find me anywhere
I rescheduled for another day, I called in that day to confirm the appointment again and they told me they were not coming out and needed to reschedule again. No apologies, no nothing!
I called another plumber!
I was disappointed in the service being provided and the communication between their workers and their front office. I attempted to reach out for some work that needed done to get water and gas back on in a house I own. They continued to tell me that they would get back with me. I would call and call and never get any answers as to when they would be able to have someone fix the problems. After two weeks of waiting and getting nothing done (other than a visit to tell me what all needed fixed) I went to the office and the lady at the desk suggested I find another plumber. Either they don't care about customer service or they have so much business that they can afford to pick and choose who they want to help and who they feel can just wait or go elsewhere. Poor customer service, no firm answers to any questions and misleading at every point in the interaction with them. I would not recommend them to anyone and would suggest looking elsewhere if you need plumbing done in Lawton.
Horribly unprofessional. Did not arrive on the day promised and failed to call. We had to call them to find out if they would arrive. When they finally did show up, their plumbers failed to check the gas line before starting to work, resulting in several additional hours labor and several hundred dollars in parts - work we did not want and did not authorize. When we called to speak to the manager, he hung up on us although we remained calm and professional while trying to discuss the situation with him.
I took 3 hours off from work to have new garbage disposal put in. I confirmed the day and time frame multiple times. Plumber never showed, receptionist was rude, they overbook appointments, they don't care if the customer is kept waiting for hours, said they would call me back and then hung up before I could give them my phone number. And they also talk crap about customers to each other. When I called after waiting over 2 hours, the receptionist said she heard about me. Will be filing a Better Business Bureau complaint.
A little over a year ago, we selected Andys for both plumbing and HVAC on a remodel for out house. The installation of the water lines in the walls was poorly fitted. The drywaller had to work around their poor fittings leaving bulges in the drywall that we were able to cover using the cabinet installation. The toilet was installed and left loose. It had to be reinstalled. Unfortunately, the same wax ring was used and I will spend my Saturday repairing it. They installed a citrus water softener on the inlet water line. The filter is supposed to be changed every 6 months. I discovered the wrapping had never been removed from the filter when it was scheduled to be changed. The HVAC installation was a mess. In fairness, it was a tight area in the attic. The installation was sub-contracted out to a firm that did a poor job. They were given the unit and supplies with no design plan for installation. After several trips, Andys took the job away and tried to fix it. They finally gave up trying to balance the system (I managed to get it close after reading the instructions). The drain line runs from the furnace room into the attic and about 30' to the plumbing drain line. This was caused because they did not install a drain line in the floor before the slab was poured. The line is protected by a heat tape that works well until the temperature gets down as it is tonite. The temperature is down to 19 and I am heading to the furnace room to move the drain line to a bucket so the furnace will heat the house. Poor planning, poor installation, poor follow up...Andy's will not be back on our place.
