Todd and his son Peter came to our house within an hour after my call to the office. They successfully identified the manufacturer of a kitchen faucet in need of repair (finding an obscurely small brand name in an obscure location) and informed me, to my surprise, that it had a lifetime guarantee and suggested I could seek a free replacement from the manufacturer. They also solved the problem of a rocking toilet with a judiciously placed coin.

These are professionals with warmth and savvy. I highly recommend them.

Andrews did a great job installing a water heater. It was connected to a complex geothermal system. It was not connected correctly, due to lack of oversight from the geo contractor, but what impressed me the most is how promptly they came back to fix the mistake. One call was all it took. They came on time and fixed it quickly. In my experience it is difficult to get contractors to come back to fix a mistake, but Andrews is the exception. Very professional.

Had them install a tankless water heater a few years back when my old heater died, and that experience was just fine.

However, just recently when the heater started having problems, they refused to come to my home and look at it because the company that makes the heaters went out of business, and apparently parts are hard to find. Really? You installed the heater and wouldn't even come to take a look at what was wrong with it? Flat out refused to help me. Lady on the phone was completely rude and I honestly just wanted to tell her to F off. They literally turned away a customer. Could have just come to look and said they can't fix it due to the issue with the parts and I would have reluctantly had them install a new one. Their loss of business, on this job and all future ones.

Newsflash: another local plumber was more than happy to come by and resolve the issue, and he will be getting my business from now on, as well as any plumbing business I recommend to others in the future.

I like to support local businesses so I called Andrews Plumbing to fix two faucets. An outside and kitchen faucet. The kitchen faucet was repaired but the outside faucet was not repaired as he did not have the part although I had explained what the problem was when I made the appointment and the person I spoke to pretty much new what the problem was. Accordingly he came to the appt without the part and did not repair it. He told to go to local supply company and get the part and fix it myself. The plumber DID NOT offer to get the part and return and fix it! The plumber was at the house less than 30 minutes. Accordingly I had to get the part and fix it myself. The cost was $6.75. I then got an invoice for $110.00 that stated the plumber repaired both the inside and outside faucets. I called and spoke with the owner and explained that his plumber did not fix both faucets per the invoice and that the outside faucet was not repaired as the invoice stated. He offered to reduce the price by a mere $10.00 although half the job was NOT completed. I was shocked by his response as I told him that it was fair and justified for the invoice to be reduced more than $10.00 but he refused.
