$88 visit fee to quote $1,350 to run a 15' line from propane tank to gas dryer hookup. The tech Scott was very very nice but these prices are a little insane for 2 hours of work in my opinion...I suspect their google reviews are fake

I had my Boiler serviced they arrived promptly and were polite and clean thats the good and the one star you see.After that they ripped me off and things that worked before they came suddenly stopped working,each time it was these things happen on old systems. Then i got another local plumber in to look at what they did and he said there was nothing broken but for some reason a wire was jammed behind my aqua stat preventing it from closing we told him the prices we paid for items replaced and well we got ripped off big time. The reviews that state rip off above are true avoid these guys at all cost and thats what it was all cost.

I just learned that I have been getting ripped off by this place for the past few years. When I moved to PA fro NY I needed an HVAC company to service my furnace. Like a fool, I went with the one I saw the most advertising for. Well, this week one of my wife's new friends, who happens to be married to an HVAC guy, who has run a business in this area for almost 25 years, basically told me I have been getting ripped off. So I met with her husband and he went over the last few repairs/part replacement bills that I paid Andreas for and boy was I surprised. A few weeks ago they were here and told me I should really replace two parts or my furnace could stop working. I believe in preventative maintenance so I had them replace the parts. Well, over $700 and only 15 minutes later the parts were replaced. My new guy pulled up the parts online and showed me that they can be purchased for under $25 total and showed me that his charges would have been in line with most guys the area and it was only about $250. We then went over some of the other past bills I have paid and realized I have wasted almost $2000. I feel like a fool.

This place prides itself on courteous, on time service, which is great. But they don't tell you that as soon as you let them into your house they become predators who will try to scare you into replacing things that really don't need to be replaced and overcharge you in the process.

He brought up a couple of good points. Ask yourself why this company has such high turnover with their employees, who is paying for all of the advertising they do and who is paying for all of the new trucks you see running around the area. The customers are paying and these young guys who work for them can't handle the high pressure sales they have to con their customers into.

I called them about a small job.
Was told they have everything with them to make repairs but there is an $85 charge just to show up and give an estimate. Ended up with a $730 bill for 30 minutes work. Parts were under $50.
Their business model seems to be either they make $85 to drive 4 miles to give an outrageous estimate that the customer will decline or make a killing on a job.
I will not use them again.

The only positive thing I can say is that they were available when needed service. Wish I wasn't under the gun, because they came out several times and $3000 later the issue was still not fixed. They tried to explain why, but none of it made any sense!! After I spent $3000 and my HVAC still wasn't working they gave me an estimate of $2800 to fix it. I finally walked away. So in essence they ripped me off, took my money and I had to have someone else fix it!

I saw one report of Andreas Plumbing as a predator and this is correct. Came out for a leaky pipe -said charge would be $615! Called another plumber immediately and for simple repair less than an hour they charged $165. Shame of Andrea for taking advantage of water leak.

These guys will totally rip you off. They showed up & asked a bunch of questions that made me think the simple repair to my sink (hooking up the plumbing parts beneath it that I provided) was a more complicated job than it was. They charged me $966.00! I was a total idiot for agreeing to the price but I was desperate to have my kitchen sink back -- oh, and like I said, the guy made the job seem more complicated than it was. When my dad (a licensed plumber) looked at it later, he said I should have been charged. $150 -- $200.

Technician is thorough and did a good job. After that point, not happy! I asked their office for a detailed bill of materials and labor. I asked that because the job cost was a little over $800. The materials was a cover for the exhaust outside from laundry room dryer ($6. in Lowe's) The job took at most 2 hours, so the labor charge was $400 an hour. When the technician was at my home, I let him know that the labor was extremely high and asked if they charged $400 an hour to install a kitchen faucet. His answer was ""more.""
After the job, their office called as is normal, to ask if I was satisfied. I told her the work was done satisfactory but the cost for labor was high. Again I asked for a detailed bill, she told me they don't provide that. I wonder why!
Bottom line is the same as others have said, their service is beyond expensive. It's outrageous!

We had Andreas do a big job for us & couldn't be happier with the entire experience! From the wonderful ladies at the office who answer the phone asking how they can make you smile today to all the knowledgeable & courteous guys working at the house you can tell they take pride in their business and it shows!
And a special shout out to Craig who went above & beyond throughout the whole job, it was GREATLY appreciated!!We would definitely recommend Andreas Plumbing, Heating & AC to anyone looking for quality workmanship!

Loved them showed up wearing a mask and foot booties. We had a ductless a/c heat pump with 2 heads put in one upstairs and one downstairs. Andre was our installer he was great even had to come back on his birthday and finish up. Andreas plumbing & heating should be happy to have an employee like Andre. Very professional and courteous.
