Simple valve replacement. Technician left without turning water back on. But the BIG issue is DO NOT HIRE these people without a quote prior to any work being done. They charged $150 to drive to the house which brought the labor cost to $250 for a 30-45 minute job. I've hired a lot of professionals over the years and have NEVER been charge a fee for driving to the location within the city.

Happened May 2021, but it's been bothering me so I thought I would post my experience.

This business came through a recommendation on Nextdoor. They were very nice and booked my appointment quickly. ""Will"" showed up to look at my HVAC system. After a quick Q & A, he told me he would need to talk to someone in the office before getting back to me. They charged me $135 to come to my house and look at the system and then did not return my calls or quote for the job. I felt taken advantage of.

We hired another company to replace our HVAC system and they did not charge me a fee for the house call.

As renter's, we have never had to deal with oil heat. 150 gallons lasted a month. Not able to pay over $400 a month on oil, our landlord got it switched, one of the reasons we went ahead with the rental. We had several bids and the landlord went with Anderson's. They switched us from oil to gas heat and even replaced the water heater, which they didn't have to do. They got to us before we ran out of oil. They were prompt to their appointments and very friendly. They kept me in the loop and the owner himself came out and completed the bid. He even came by to check the progress of his men. Most companies don't do that anymore. I highly recommend them.

I had the heating/cooling system installed by a different firm. Our heating bills were outrageous. A friend recommended Anderson sheet metal and heating. I called Anderson Sheet metal and Heating to come check the system out. They said the duct work was a mess, very unprofessional. I got quote to install new ductwork to fix the shabby work done by others.. Anderson sent a two man crew and they did such an excellent job out heating bills dropped by half. It is great to see an honest contractor. We had tried to resolve the issue with the first installer but were put off many times with different excuses. The last time I called them no one answered the phone.
