Really Really Bad experience. These guys are rip offs. I had a leak in my washer connection. My Home warranty said they will cover the cost of fixing the leak but Anderson Plumbing said I would have to pay extra $200 from my pocket just to fix the valves. When I said the warranty company would pay for the leak, I don't want to pay anything from my pocket, he then became very rude and said I wont come to your house if you don't pay me $200. I have even raised the complaint against them with my Home Warranty company.

Jeremy and Chris came 2 days in a row to fix two leaks. They had to haul in a drill machine because we live in a rocky rural area. They were very professional and kind. Thanks guys for a job well done!

This review has to do with a Home Mtce Company (Landmark), this plumbing company, and a rental home I have in Plano TX. The overall complaint I have is what Harold told the Mtce Company about what the plumber found (which will be told below if one wants to read this long complaint), which caused the Mtce company to decline said repair, and left me with no water being turned on to the home, as the plumber left an open water pipe in the master bathtub after trying to replace a mixer cartridge. Details of what took place, follow:
On Fri, Oct 28 around 3PM, the plumber came out to fix a valve in the master tub, as water was just trickling out - it should have been a standard and normal replacement. I was not with the plumber when he looked at the tub valve, as I was busy with other things. After about ten minutes, the plumber came out and said something to the effect that he can't get a piece out of the pipe, that he'll have to call it in to the office, and I told him that I need it fixed and water turned back on by Monday morning, as I have someone coming in to replace the kitchen counter, and he said he would let the people know.
I've just now read (today, Nov 19) what was written on the rcpt that the plumber left, which states: "Master tub mixer cartridge has been damaged and the end of the cartridge is still inside of the valve. Will need to be called in for replacement? (can't read writing of word), with access through the tile. Sent info to office.
After not hearing from anyone, I call the company around 5PM Oct 28 and of course no one is there. I leave a detailed message, asking when is it going to get fixed. I call again Monday Oct 31, around 10AM, leaving another message, but not hearing anything, saying the counter people are here and I need the water on and the tub valve fixed. No word all day from the plumbing company. I call Landmark that afternoon, and the person I spoke with doesn't know anything, but will try to find out.
Tues, Nov 1, I finally get a hold of Harold at Anderson Plumbing, and he told me he spoke to a Jesse at Landmark on Monday, telling Landmark what had taken place, and was waiting on a decision from Landmark as to if Landmark would accept the claim and ask the plumbing company to fix it. So I call Landmark again at 10:15AM and talk to a Heather, and she said that due to Anderson Plumbing saying to Landmark that the cartridge was broken inside the pipe and someone had tried to fix it and it was broken outside of "normal wear and tear" and it had been painted, that Landmark denied my claim to fix it, but of course I could call Anderson Plumbing or any other plumbing company to come out and fix it at my cost. ARGH.
So, I call and talk to Harold again at 12:15PM, and he says it will cost $550 for someone to come out and fix it, since the tile has to be removed to get to the pipe, and says he can fit me in that afternoon, and I said I will call around for other prices. Of course your company can fit me in the schedule for that price.
I call other companies, call Landmark again ('cuz I'm very upset at them - just taking the word of the company and not even asking me about anything, nor even listening to me when I explain that no one tried to "fix" anything - we have had a mtce agreement for years, and if something is broken, we call you to get it fixed - what would be the point for us to try to fix anything, if we have that contract?)
Wed Nov 2, I call Harold back and ask him if he will lower his price, and why did he say what he said about the valve being broken not by normal wear and tear, and he said he, the plumber that was there, and a master plumber all looked at the pics and discussed things, and that is what they concluded - that someone tried to fix it and broke it, and he stands by his plumbers. He can't very well call Landmark back and say well, maybe we made a mistake - maybe it hadn't been fixed before, and I asked why not? No one touched it - it could have just been a defective mixer valve, and then Harold said: "We replace these all the time and this never happens unless it was put in wrong, or someone tried to fix it". And I said see, it might have been like that, or could have broken when the plumber tried to remove it, but because you told Landmark that it wasn't normal wear and tear, they are making me pay for something that I shouldn't have to pay for, and you are charging me an outrageous price to get it fixed now. I asked him to send me the pictures, which to this day, he still hasn't done.
I called Harold one last time Fri, Nov. 18, around 12:00PM, to tell him that I did find another plumbing company to come out and fix it like your company should have done in the first place, and they didn't have to remove any tile or anything - they told me to tell you that you all didn't do a good job, and then you told me, well of course another plumbing company would say that. I told Harold that I wasn't satisfied at the work your company did, for it should have b

Actually I want to give O start to this company, I'm so disappointed.
Home warranty assigned this company of water leak problem we had. The tec came and told us it was the toilet bowl problem that created the problem, removed the toilet bowl and said the problem was the flange. He added he would need to check with the warranty company to see the replacement was covered so the meanwhile he would need to leave the property left toiled bowl removed. 6 hours later the home warranty company told me the situation and told me the part was covered, but such concrete process and pipe replacement were not covered and told us 1500 dollars were necessary to perform the job. I was just astonished by this and called Anderson immediately but nobody was there so I left the message in their answering machine to call me back. They called me back two days later, and the tec told me that he could offer discount. Huh????
We could not waited till they have us the call so the job was already completed just by 450 dollars by different plumbing company we arranged. But the worst part was, the main leaking was not the toilet issue, it was something else and found through plumbing test. I doubt warranty companies were just scam and this company was just not faithful to the people in trouble needs help. I'm so angry.

i called our home insurance company regarding the leak under toilet water tank. anderson plumbing co., llc was referred to us.
i received a call from anderson plumbing co., llc five minutes after talking to our home insurance.
it was mentioned to me that they will be available between 10am-1pm the same day (wednesday).
due to my hectic schedule, i was hoping that they will call/show up before 11am.
surprisingly, matt l. came over at 10am sharp.
wow!!! i was impressed and matt l. looked at the problem, he said that it will be done within 20minutes.
matt l. fixed the problem as promised and made suggestions on how to prevent from happening in the future, checked all toilet pipes/valves that needs to be fixed.
matt l. from anderson plumbing co., llc served his duty beyond his job, very knowledgeable about his job, extremely professional and respectful, delivered his promised on time.
please remember that this is our experienced with the plumbing company and feel free to have the same experience we had with anderson plumbing co., llc.
highly recommended and superb job from matt l.
from our family to anderson plumbing co., llc - greatly appreciated!!!

Spoke to the person who answered the phone and he was extremely rude and unprofessional.

I live in Richardson. I have used them for 3 different problems. Big and small. Very professional and work done very well. I thought the pricing was very fair. I was referred to them by a neighbor who was also very happy with their work and I have referred them to friends. Those that have used Anderson gave them high marks. Highly recommend.

We have used Anderson's 3 times now and have been extremely pleased each time. They just replaced both our hot water heaters and did a great job. We won't use anyone else.

Plumber came over looking confused, had very dirty boots on and trampled crap on my carpets. We called our home warranty company because our water has a funny smell and taste to it (Coincidentally, the same funny taste and smell we had in our condo a few years ago, so I know what the problem is. The water heater needs a new anode rod. This is the rod that attracts corrosion to spare the tank(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galvanic_anode))
I explained I thought we needed new anode rods(we have two water heaters). I said this rod helped filter the water against the minerals in the water. He said he could smell nothing wrong with our water and didn't taste it despite me saying it tasted odd.
After the plumber saying he 'had never heard of' an anode rod, he went to his truck to call his boss.
He came back in with a sheet of paper where upon he had written, and proceeded to tell me verbally that 'Anode rods are made to make water heaters last longer, not collect minerals or filter water.'
I did not want to get into the explanation of the fact that a very corroded anode rod will do two things, it will break down and release small parts into the water stream, and it will allow corrosion to eat at the tank.
Guess what this does to the taste and smell of your water?
BINGO! Makes it terrible.
So, after being lectured about how I don't know wtf I'm talking about, I'm out $75 and he refused to even check the rods to look at their corrosion. (I'm betting they're pretty corroded.)
I now have to call another plumber and get them replaced or do it myself, because this guy doesn't understand something about plumbing that took me 15 minutes and a google search to understand years ago.

This company was assigned to me by my home warranty company .. they came out to fix my toilet and instead caused water damage. Now they won't return my call and I have a lot of water damage at my new house. Don't use this company they are a scam.
