DO NOT USE THEM!!! Horrible customer service. Could not find issue with plumbing/stopped up toilet. Bamboozled my 70 yr old mother into writing a check for $375...for no services being rendered! Threatens to put a mechanics lien on my property.

Rodded the pipes but couldn't identify cause of toilet back up. Called another plumber who spent over an hour rodding with both 3"" and 4"" blades and discovered broken pipe at 64'. City confirmed break (city property) and will repair.

Called Anderson Plumbing and I was given a window of time When the plumber would arrive. He came 1 hr earlier but called me first to make sure. I was extremely happy for the early arrival as the water in the house was completely off. When Greg arrived he was extremely courteous and professional. He went straight to work found the problem fixed the problem and even answered an unrelated plumbing question. I will use this company and this particular plumber again

I'm genuinely surprised to see that there less than 5 star reviews. I have been working on a vintage bathroom soft rehab and have spoken with multiple highly reviewed plumbers. All of their quotes were $800 or more and they expressed confusion or frustration at the retrofitting I was trying to do in the bathroom. Greg not only listened but did the job for a very fair price. As a woman working with contractors I often get spoken down to or ""mansplained"" and this was absolutely not the case with Greg (and his colleague whose name I forgot!). They were respectful, professional and got the job done beautifully ! I couldn't have asked for a better experience... and yes plumbing is messy but they swept up after they left and cleaned the space. I would highly recommend their work and would use them in the future for sure !

I like these guys. They do the job. I have had them out for different issues and I have been satisfied with their work every time. Yes, a little higher in price but not by much, and yes, at times messy but not terrible. Plumbing is a dirty job and I'm not willing or able to get my hands that dirty. I trust them and will cont. to call them when I have a plumbing issue. They put in a flood control system for me and stand by their work. I know I can call them and they get right back to me. I started with 3 stars but by the end of my review made it 4.

I also called the Anderson Plumbing on the 4400 block of North Central in Chicago. I called because my kitchen sink wouldn't drain. There was debris coming up when I put the draino in so I thought there was a clog despite the temperature being between -10 and 10 that day. Since i never had that pipe freeze and don't know a drainage pipe could freeze i didnt think that would be the issue. Someone came out and spent 90 mins trying to clear the pipe and repeatedly said it was a horrible clog and would cost 800$ to cut the clog out and would have to remove the surrounding cabinets. When I said I didn't have that much he lowered it 600$. I said no so he ended up charging me $300 for that and to change the wax ring on my toilet.
After he left I had roto rooter come (for free) and look at it. They said within 20 minutes the pipe was frozen where it meets the exterior wall and all we needed to do was put a space heater on it for a little while. About 2 hours later it was fixed. I called the guy back and told him what happened hoping he would have an explanation that wouldnt make me feel like a sucker but it didn't happen. He said he was sorry but the other company wasn't telling me the truth and kept my money.
Would NEVER recommend this company in a million years. If I would have seen the other reviews I wouldn't have called them in the first place. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these folks or you'll regret it like I do.

These guys are awful. They are very expensive and leave a mess. Not only did they make things worse, they were sloppy. The service in not customer oriented. It's profit oriented. They lie about needing work done that is unnecessary to get more money out of you. Do not use this company

I don't know if this was the same one on the 4400 block of Central Ave. or not but they do have the same first 3 numbers on their phone number ""not the area code"".
They will try to take as much money as possible from you, get different estimates from other plumbers. They wanted to charge me $2800-$4800 for a sewage problem. When I called another plumber for an estimate he came out and fixed the problem for $500.
I know this review will be taken down since Yelp allows the business owners to do that but if I could help just one person to stay away from these con men then my job is done.

These guys are AWFUL. The worst customer service EVER. They came out to do a job and left before finishing and made problems even worse (by leaving 18 families without hot water). When we called the owner to alert him that the hot water (which worked prior to them coming) did not work he refused to come out and fix it and said ""your pipes are not my problem."" Unbelievable. We then called another plumber to fix the problem Anderson created and they walked us through fixing it over the phone for no charge at all! Now that's good service and we will use John Baethke & Sons from now on.
