Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air originated from four businesses owned by Mary Jean Anderson.
2018 marked our 40th anniversary serving the San Diego area. To commemorate this milestone, we expanded our Anderson Random Acts of Plumbing, Heating & Air initiative. We offered 40 free plumbing, heating, and air conditioning gifts to 40 randomly selected residents in San Diego.
2017 saw the establishment of the Anderson Career Builder Institute. This initiative was a response to the nationwide shortage of skilled trade professionals.
In 2006, we merged our companies into one, establishing a remarkable team of certified technicians and professionals. We focus on providing only the highest quality products while ensuring exceptional customer service.
In 2003, Mary Jean Anderson, the President, took full ownership of Walter Anderson Plumbing by buying out her partner. She has since added more businesses in the plumbing sector and welcomed experienced team members who continue to work with us.

I went through 4 different HVAC companies and Anderson Plumbing Heating and Cooling eclipsed all the other ones! Their the only ones that tried to find a solution and were Professional and Customer service oriented. Technicians: Bryan and Terrance Professional and Friendly! Jared the Manager help me resolve my heater issue. I own 3 properties and they are the Business I'll be using!! Highly recommend Fair /Honest!

Even though a plumbing issue can be aggravating calling Anderson was a great decision. Luis was so nice, clean, polite and professional. He got right to work and cleared the clog quickly. He also recommended looking into adding a more convenient clean out near the kitchen. He scheduled a free inspection and estimate. Thank you Luis!!

We had our sewage service access blow and sewage drain at the front of our home. We called Anderson Plumbing and they had a technician out to our home within a couple of hours. Our tech was polite and professional. He had the drain cleared in about 10 minutes. The cost was only $63, which I find very affordable compared to plumbers I have used in the past. I will definitely be using Anderson plumbing for any future plumbing issues.

Bathroom tub and toilet was backing up, a scary sight! Called Anderson Plumbing and was taken care of in a timely manner considering the emergency. They dispatched a plumber named Luis Campos. He assessed the problem and walked me through the possibilities and what he was going to do. Turned out I had some obstruction that got into my main line. He was able to clear the line and gave me my options to fix the problem from reoccurring which I will be moving forward with. Overall, it was great service! Thank you for taking care of my family!

I have had a plumber for 35 years and unfortunately his equipment was stolen and he couldn't do the work. I called Mary Jean Anderson and was truly ""wowed"" by the experience. The tech Hugo was knowledgeable and had my needs in mind. He set me up and I am now a Anderson VIP member. So I have a new plumber for the next 35 years.

So it is very rare that I update a review, but I must say that I have certainly changed my opinion. Soon after posting my comments, I received a call from Erin, who took the time to listen, understand what I am looking for and actually follow up. I know have an appointment with one of their sales professionals and I am looking forward to working with them.
Will update again as this moves forward, but very happy with her followup and understanding.

At this point I would not even give it a 1 star if it was possible. We have used Anderson plumbing many times and although it takes them a bit to get the right person for the job they usually come through and we are very satisfied.
This time our call started on a Wed 9/28 daughter came home to find bedroom ceiling leaking, placed a call to Anderson and Richard Bates came out. Went up in attic said A/C overflow pan leaked. Said he fixed issue left, turned on A/C and ceiling really started leaking, immediately called Anderson back, Richard came out cut open ceiling, could not figure out issue said he would have to speak with boss and may need a different person to come out the next day. Thursday no call, no one came. My daughter called and voiced her concern receptionist said would send message to technician I'm assuming Richard. Daughter called twice more asking what the issue was, asked for call backs from supervisor, technician someone! Never any response. We now have a very large hole in ceiling, Richard left a mess on the floor and no one returned. Saturday my husband called and they said they had no idea what he was speaking about and it was Saturday so they would get back to him on Monday. This was Blanca who took the call. No call on Monday morning so my husband called them, spoke to Bonnie she surprisingly found the call out, the invoice and the messages from my daughter. She had nothing showing Richard came back out and cut ceiling open but I received a survey for second out as well as the first call but there are no records. So again Bonnie said she would look into it and get back to us. No call from Bonnie or anyone else so my husband called back at 4 pm today spoke to Sandy who told my husband all they do is answer the phones and it could be 3-4 days before he gets a call back. My husband asked for the owners email address and was told he couldn't have it. So we sit with an open ceiling and no a/c and will call another plumber.
Unbelievable this is a long post but it needed to be said. I am so disappointed in Anderson Plumbing, shame on you, don't know what has happened that you would treat the customer so poorly.
I have text emails and messages to show us trying to give you the benefit of the doubt have wasted 6 days trying to get at least an answer to what the problem with the A/C is. Are you doing that well that you don't care about the customer anymore.

How can I make you smile today? by not calling this company. Made the mistake of calling this company to give me a price quote to replace my
AC unit. A tech showed up, checked my unit but never provided me with a written estimate. I called a week later and to see if my estimate was ready but the person on the other line for some odd reason decided to hang up on me. Two weeks passed and I decided to call back again, this time I was finally able to get my estimate via email. The huge estimate was no itemized and was poorly formatted not explaining anything. I am not calling these guys ever again.

They are always professional and love their appointment window process. Josue was awesome. He even brought back a cover I needed. He also walked me through the process. Great job

Very responsive to my call on a Sunday for situation of a clogged main drain. Highly recommend and will use again!
