When it came to charging me $14,000 for 2 new AC units, they were fast! Even then they told me they would be there at 9am and it would take 1 day. They showed up at 1pm and said it will take 2 days. After speaking to someone who said she was the manager, they got it done that day. The parts were about $6,000, so they made $8,000 for 2 people working 9 hours each That was a year ago. Now the real issue with the company's communication started. Our first appointment was for Monday between 3-5. At 5:04, the technician called and said he's still in Ocala and won't be to my place until 7pm. He then asked what was wrong and I told him the AC stays on the variable speed and never kicks on to cool. He said that it's likely a part, he doesn't have it, it'll have to be next day. Next day nothing, Wednesday nothing. I get in touch with Edgar, who stated was the supervisor, and was told the technician never should have troubleshot over the phone and he will correct it and get someone out there. Alex comes out, looks at it briefly, states electrical issue and it can take hours to troubleshoot if it would be ok to come back in the morning. No problem. He comes back next day and it appears to be working. Couple days later we find out the upstairs unit is blowing air, just not cold. Another phone call, another technician, who showed up after the scheduled time, says the unit is out of Freon. Pumps in Freon, says it has a leak, puts dye in it, says he'll be back Thursday. Wednesday my wife calls to verify the appointment and she is told it will be 2:30-3 on Thursday. She told the person on the phone it would have been nice to know and we shouldn't have called. Come Thursday, 3pm rolls around, no one here. Wife calls again, we are now told the time is 4-6pm. At 5pm my wife calls again and is told the technician just got to his current appt and it will be later. At 7pm my wife calls and speaks to Karen, who is really nice and apologetic. Karen is unable due to company policy out us in contact with Edgar or give us his number to find out why we can't get service. At this point we are told possible tomorrow. They had no issue taking $14,000 from us but now they can't get their stuff together to honor an agreed appointment time. If anyone in that company, outside Karen, cares about customers, help us out!!!
Went with honesty in making an appointment saying it wasn't an emergency and scheduled for next day. After the company cancelled we rescheduled. Once again the company cancelled. Phone call from company to reschedule ended up with them hanging up. One more chance, rescheduled. Not out of character the company once again cancelled!!!! DONE WITH AND!!! Do not call them! Not even worth the one star I had to give them so this would post!!
Linda M.Worst company ever Called them @ 6 pm was told they'd be to my house in 2-3 hours Called BC air wasn't blowing cold After 2 hours I called to find out they cancelled my appt BC it would be to late when tech arrived And never even called to inform me Even though they advertise 24/7 service So arranged appt for next morning Tech showed up , was here less than 10 min charged my landlord 650$, lied about adding freon to my unit Charged her 300$ for a 2 lbs of freon ( which they never even did) And instead of changing fan out BC we used a tool to get it to spin ,tech just replaced the compositor that retails for $25 BC I googled it (This part gets burnt out when fan motor isn't working properly kinda like battery in car when alternator is bad ) Landlord is fighting charge I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy ever
The absolute worst service ever. A technician came out on Friday to give us an estimate that clearly called out one brand and verbally told us they do not use a big box home improvement unit, because the professional ones are made with better quality. We were also told they would be out about Noon on Saturday. At 3 pm they finally showed up, but had to go buy a water heater at the home improvement store we were told they don't use. If I could give them zero stars I would. Now we are scrambling to find a place that will put one in!
I recently had And Services come out to my sisters house due to her losing her air quality the unit would come on but would not blow into the house. Justin came to her home and checked out the unit and said her unit was just fine and she needed duct work that hers had fallen down and rotted away with holes. He quoted her an estimate of $1,220.00 for the duct work. So I called a few other places to get more estimates on the duct work and low and behold it was not the duct work it was the blower motor on the unit. So instead of the hefty price for duct work it only cost me $240.00 for a blower motor and the maintenance. The company also quoted me a price of ONLY $500.00 for the duct work on the home. WOW what a difference with the other two companies I called, they to also quoted me for duct work and it too was under $600.00 just goes to show this company needs to find and hire people that know what they are doing. That is crazy especially at this time of the year we are dealing with a pandemic and with racial problems and you guys try to rip people off that is not tolerable. I will make sure we don't recommend this company to anyone. Try hiring better people. I can only imagine if I would of gave you the go ahead to do the duct work then what would of came next oh mam your blower motor also went out sorry that will be another few hundred dollars... NO I DON'T THINK SO NOT THIS LADY ANYWAY........
I am giving them one star out of feeling bad for their nice customer service staff who MUST get so tired of the disgruntled calls. I could write a 3 page review of all the issues I have had with ANDservices in the 64 days I have had their overpriced $6500 2.5 ton Bryant system in my house. The system has not worked properly since install I have one tech come out and tell me one thing (I need all new duct work $5400 more to get unit working properly before that tech got asked to leave my house he had negotiated that price down to $4000 himself without a suopervisor's input SHADY) and another tech came out did a thorough inspection and contradicted the previous tech saying my duct work is not that old and he made some adjustments to the unit and said I was good to go. The house still did not cool properly another tech was dispatched the next day he said there is a hole somewhere in the return and it will cost me $732 to replace the return duct work I paid him on the spot as he said this would ensure I get put at the top of install list for next day. I called to speak to a supervisor and was told on several attempts that he was on the phone with another customer. He must have spent 3 days on the phone with that customer. I called today to cancel the replacement of the return duct because I do not feel like these people know what they are doing and they are just scamming people. Home depot uses them as one of their installers. BEWARE all they care about is taking your money they do not care if you are satisfied or not.
BEWARE Had And Services come out and give a diagnoses on a Air conditioning unit on 08/03/2020. I had already told the repairman it was the capacitor or contacts the problem was the capacitor. Then he began telling me the price to do the repair $259.00 outrageous price for about a 50.00 part 209.00 for labor. I had no choice and told him to go ahead. Then i asked him what about the freon in the condensing unit and Then he began to check the freon in the unit and said the pressure was good and i asked him if the line was sweating with no reply so i checked it myself and it was not sweating maybe it takes a little longer for a older unit. then he went in the house to check the vents and stated the temperature was good come to find out after calling him back he said the temperature was 14 degrees difference from outside. Why wouldn't you take the temperature at the vent and give a reading from there not the difference of outside temperature. After he left later in the day i checked the unit again and still the line was not sweating and the temperature was still warm so i called him back and explained what was going on and reminded him of what he said but still wanted another $439.00 to come back out to put a charge of no more than 2lb of freon if needed. So total cost would be $698.00 total for a capacitor and 2lb of freon. He did not try to take care of the problem when he originally came to do the repair and I know he was aware of the line not sweating meaning low on freon or he needs to find another profession. This is outright scamming the customer so he could double charge the customer for a second visit. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE . Most companies who are honest only charge 79.00 for a diagnoses. Find another company stay away from And Services.
Unreliable services! Scheduled to come out between 2 and 4pm same day. Never showed up. Received call with new schedule for next day between 10 and 12pm. Never showed up. Called at 3pm and was given excuse only one plumber working today. When I first search internet for plumbers, I located friendly affordable plumber when I selected it I was redirected to And Services website. I feel that was shady!
In early April 2020 my AC Compressor and fan in the the handler went out. That unit was only seven years old and it was a trane, But that's a different story. I did not have a warranty as I purchased the house after the unit was installed. The technician came out and told me that my compressor was done for. After a long discussion I wanted to know what it would cost just to replace the whole unit as I wanted to have a warranty. That's when the technician called someone from his company and got a quote for somewhere around $9000. He saw that I was not happy with that price so he called someone else and told me that there was a unit that was unboxed for a recent home show and it would only be $7000. I agreed to the price and waited for the installers. I now realize that was a sales trick as when the unit arrived to be installed the box was not opened. This was just a start of the deceit by this company. When the installers were getting ready to install the new unit they told me that they could not hook up the second return. I had two returns in my old unit. I asked if it would make a difference and if the unit was still cool my house. I was told that it would not make a difference in cooling my house. After the installation was complete one of the technicians installed a new thermostat which was located by the return that was not hooked up. I asked the technician if having the thermostat in this location would make a difference and again I was told it would not make a difference. After everything was installed all the technicians did was to make sure that it turned on. I was under the in assumption, because of the sales person, that they would make sure that the house would cool properly. I believe that I was lied too just to get the job done as soon as possible and to move on to the next job. It's very clear that they do not care about their customers. It seems like they are all about the money and moving onto the next job. The area of my house by the thermostat does not cool very good anymore because the return is gone. This causes part of the house to be very cold and part of the house to be warm So not having that second return makes a huge difference. Also, I was not very informed on efficiency and later found out that the efficiency of this unit is the lowest that is available. This is why on warm days the unit does not shut off for most of the day. Also, not having that second return really makes the one return very loud. So, again Not having the second return makes a huge difference. I have been playing phone tag with the installers supervisor. He has not tried to call me back since the last voice message I left for him. I really believe they just don't care. In my opinion you could do much better if you need AC services by going to a different company as And Services is overpriced for what you get and they are dishonest.
Failed to show up as scheduled 3 days in a row, had to hire someone else! Not Pleased At All!!!
