I will try to keep this short with just the facts. July 2015 - AC goes out, 97 degrees in my house for 3 days. Came across And Services on accident. But in my desperation they came same day. They are very good at coming as soon as possible FYI. The gentleman told me I had two options, replace the entire system ($7,500), or get a new evap coil (plus other parts) and freon fill up ($2,740) (but was told this would happen again and again and it would be better to just get a new system). Again, desperate, had no knowledge of AC systems at the time, so I went into extreme debt and purchased a new system. After the purchase, Everyone who knew I got a new system told me a I paid WAY more than I should have and was ripped off. I was embarrassed but let it go because I was no longer dying in heat. I couldn't very well give it back anyway. July 2016 - AC is one year old. We had a maintenance plan w/ company. They would come out every 6 months and check on system. This visit we were told we needed a Pan Treatment ($132). At the time I didn't know what was involved in that. Now I know. Its some tablets, one or two of them per ton. I have a 2.5 ton. MAX 5 tablets. I can get a bottle of those tablets (200) from Amazon for $23. Roughly 12 cents a tablet. I paid $132 for a guy to drop 60 cents worth of tablets into a hole. I'm a sucker. Dec 2016 - Told we needed to get some unit protection for outside because our tree leaves are falling into the devices and causing issues and could destroy/overheat the system. $99. We later went out back to see what he installed. It was a round piece of screen zip tied to the metal protector over the fan. Not even zip tied well. At this time they have told us at least 3 times we need to replace the UV light to kill all the mold and such. Common sense would tell me if youre replacing the filter like you should, this is not needed. Nope. It is a worry I carried until last month when I found out my common sense should have kicked in. June 2018 - Trouble with our AC not cooling to set temp, about 5 degrees higher. Gentleman comes out, tells us it is our capacitor going bad, also recommends a hard start (not needed, has nothing to do with current problem). Capacitor $259, Hard Start $259. We only chose the capacitor. Next day, same problem. Replacement of capacitor did not work, was not the problem. They come out again a few days later and find a leak in the Evap Coil... (Sounds familiar...) Was told I needed a new evap coil, vacuum the system, new txv valve, system charge and it was recommended to get the UV bulb and Electronic dynamic cleaner. Total quote $2,500+. At this point (i don't take crap from anyone any more)I want a second opinion. I call a different company. They come out next day. Find the leak, full quote $500. This is to replace the evap coil and all other items (which come with the evap coil!!), minus the recommended (unneeded) EDC and bulb. I asked why so low and was informed """"well, your system is only 3 years old, these parts are under warranty still and will be for 2 more years"""". And Services has never said anything about warranties to me, no paperwork, nothing. I even asked about warranties back in 2016. No answers. At this point I know who my new AC company will be. The honest one. I called And Services, 1, to get my money back for the capacitor 2, cancel my monthly payment for this maintenance plan ($19.95 per month or $269 annually), which I found out should have included cleaning and such which they NEVER did!!! and 3 to get a better breakdown of why I was being asked for $2,500+ for parts that are under warranty, I wanted an itemized list. I was told that And always fights with the companies for warrantied parts and can never get them so they have to pay which in turn the customer has to pay. I in turn told this person that I personally was told by the company that my parts are in fact under warranty and I will be receiving them at no cost. This person was """"shocked"""" I then told them the quote I received from another company and this person did not believe me, but later in our conversation offered all of these parts and labor (not the recommended stuff) for $750... Interesting, right? I then asked for a break down in my quote. This person began telling me everything that needed to be done, and then just gave me the total again. I then asked what they charge hourly for labor. Apparently, they don't charge by the hour. It's just a flat rate for each job. What? No. I informed this person I would no longer give my business to them and thanked them for always coming quickly if we did have an issue. I was polite and praised them for the good things but this person took it personal I think because with how quickly I was rushed off the phone and it was the tone in which this person switched to when I told them this that triggered me to write a review.

This company doesn't send out technicians, they send out used car salesmen. We've had several issues with our unit over the last year. The first time they came out they fixed the small issue and talked us into a monthly charged service plan. They were supposed to come out every 6 months and make sure everything was working properly & replace air filters. They never came out to do this. The second time they came out, the technician started to push that we replace the entire system. The third time they came out they pushed for the replacement again. We went with a small fix, and had the coil replaced. Which they said should buy us a couple years. They came out yesterday and the tech took a picture of our outside unit with frosted coils and told us we had to replace the unit. That our compressor was shot, and replacing it didn't make sense, because a replacement compressor would never work right. He said to give him a minute while he went to his truck and get us a quote on the replacement. When he came back in he said """"don't tell my manager that I told you but, he was only going to give you a partial credit on the work done in October. I was able to talk him into crediting your account the full $2700."""" Bringing our new repair cost to $9500+. We asked if we should turn off the unit to see if it defrosts, he said """"no, crank the temp low so you get some air flow"""". Obviously we got a second opinion. The first thing they told us to do over the phone, was turn off the unit so it would defrost and they could get an accurate reading on the machine. Turns out, we were using the wrong filters and it triggered the system. Our system in fine. Does not need to be replaced. We probably didn't need the repair back on October. Bottom line. These guys are hustlers.

Best service and install team to get my A/C up and running!!

This is How this company operates is criminal. They employ non-trained or at best ill trained people to charge well over the top prices. They make you pay these over inflated prices upfront so a person has no recourse. They always need parts that are unnecessary. For instance they wanted $600.00 for a thermostat that sells full retail for$170. I called in a real factry trained tech and found that the AND tech had changed the wiring to create the issue. He wanted $850. to fix the issue he created. The factory traned tech deduced and fixed the issue with no need for a new thermostat in about 20 minutes for $140. They fooled me good several times before I figured out that I had been scammed out of hundreds of dollars by these crooks. Negative stars. DO NOT USE THEM! BEWARE!

Absolute Garbage! As long as you are buying a new system from them you are Customer #1, just wait until ANYTHING goes wrong, and it will. Then you will see the true colors of this scam company. I was told I was purchasing a Carrier unit because the Bryant unit I had was no good and Bryant was not a good brand so I was told. Fast forward 2 years, Starter capacitor goes bad on the new Carrier unit and get this, I am told they are one and the same. Carrier and Bryant are the same unit and my 10 year parts and 3 year warranty does not cover this. It will be 325 dollars to install the new capacitor. That is 3 wires folks, 100 bucks a wire. To make things worse, the technician messed up and now my system is switching on and off every 2 minutes telling me there is a wiring fault, and they are not going to send anyone out to correct it until tomorrow. I would not recommend you guys to ANYONE EVER!

SCAM ALERT- I called for a slow/clogged drain. They told me 2-4 hours. They called back later and said tomorrow. AND plumbing came out the next day and said they had to remove a toilet to snake the drain. That didnt work. They went out to the main and snaked/jetted the drain and """"unclogged"""" it. They charged me $900.00 3 days later the drain was slow again. A different guy came out and told me the first guy didnt know what he was doing. The new guy said we had pipe (pvc) issues and talked about 4 differnt services ranging from scaling/jetting ($3400) to replacing the entire line $34,000), I refused. I went to Walmart and bought liquid draino. Problem fixed in 30 minutes !

This is who you call when you want the job done right!!!! Don't call the rest call the best!!! And they do plumbing and solar!!!!!! And that they do it all so I recommend there service Tampa s no.1 a/c ...service and plumbing and solar sale s..... give them a call first!!!!! And yes they answer there phones not like other companies that have a taped recording and puts you on hold and there voice mail says full...?nope they have live people answering there phones ready to answer your question s and help you find your needs so you want first class service here it is!!!!!!! So if you really want to stay coolyou know who to call!!!!!!they rock!!!!

What a mess...Our toilet backed up into our shower on a Saturday of all times. We found And Services through Google and they advertise a $79 fee for unplugging the toilet. Great deal we thought, When we spoke with them we told them that this was an ongoing thing once a year and we needed them to snake from the outside of the house 20 to 25' in. They said no problem absolutely we can do that they arrived on Monday and the technicians we're not able or so they say to unclog through this method. Without discussion of an increase of charges they went through the shower and then went up on the roof Once everything was unclogged they notified me that the bill would be $325 that I'm actually saving $400 because normally they would charge that for going on the roof. What kind of customer service is that!!!! 2 days later same problem. We highly recommend you stay away from this company

Do not use this company as they do not pay their employees for training. Son was hired, trained for 4 days, company called and said they were not going to continue with the new dept. Company refuses to pay for his time he spent training for 4 days.

So owner Marek Stroz runs a questionable operation. After having new unit installed come to find out filter can't be removed because of inferior workmanship on contracted cabinet installer. Now it's expected for me to pay out of pocket to fix their inadequate work. Good news is I have time on my hands to social blast this poor excuse for a company and grievance my government agencies with complaints against Mr. Stroz and company.
