James did an exception job on a difficult kitchen drain clog. He was honest and was very fair on pricing. I recommend him highly! It is also nice that he is a small business owner and local.

James was a life saver! I had sewage backing up into my basement and called dozens of plumbers and sewer services. After one plumbing service came out and spent a few halfhearted hours, they charged me $550, told me there was nothing that could be done, and I would need a completely new sewer line. With the sewer still backing up, I made one last desperate call at 3:00pm to Anchor Sewer and Drain Cleaning to see if they could help. James was at my door at 6:00 that night and worked for hours. He was unable to clear the blockage but insisted he would be back the following day and would unblock the line. I asked him what I owed him, and he said "" nothing, the job's not done yet"". As promised, James arrived the next day and worked for hours to clear the blockage. I was in a desperate situation and would have paid anything. But James charged me a fair amount, saved me from spending thousands unnecessarily, did as he promised and was a pleasure to work with.

We had company over on a Sunday and our drains were backing up and toilet overflowing. We called James and he came out within the hour. He was extremely knowledgeable about septics, drains, etc... He helped us identify and fixed the issue quickly and efficiently (turns out a clogged inlet line from a quilted toilet paper). He cleared the clog, put everything back neatly and we were good to go. Would definitely use again!

I live in a condo complex in Medfield and had an emergency plumbing situation and I hired James to come the next day at 10:00AM. I told him my address and unit number over the phone with no issue. Shortly before he arrived he said he would be late. Then at 10:40AM he called and said he couldn't find it on the street, when i told him it was the condo complex(again) He replied ""I'm not working in that ****hole"" and hung up. Least professional Handy man I've ever encounter. Do not use!

James is extremely knowledgable and professional; he helped clear a blockage in the waste pipe to the septic tank in our house. The pipe had been improperly sealed years ago and James talked us through the process including recommending we speak with the town regarding the work (and that our septic should not have passed Title V in Massachusetts). James came back twice on a weekend to resolve the issue and talked me through each step of the way. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough good things about James. He's an incredibly nice person, very thorough and reasonably priced, and he really takes the time to explain what you're dealing with in a situation, not to mention checking back in to make sure all is hanging together well. But I really owe him for his help when we were dealing with a burst pipe last winter in the bitter weather. I was on my own with my toddler, completely freaking out at the quantity of water coming apparently out of nowhere, and unable to find an available local plumber. James took my call, talked me down, helped me switch off the water, and tracked down another local plumber to help me out within minutes. It's very rare to find someone who's so concerned about their work and the well-being of their clients. I hope not to have to use him too often, but when I do (sewer situation aside!), it's a pleasure.

James is the man. We needed someone on a Saturday night to figure out why our kitchen sink wasn't draining and why our disposal wasn't working . We needed it fixed by 10am the next day as we had a bunch of friends coming over.

James came over immediately, diagnosed the issue and then agreed to come back early the following morning to fix the issue. He didn't charge a fee for the off hours service and fixed the issue all while saving our disposal (I think a lot of other providers would have pushed us to get a new system). He also took plenty of time to explain what happened and what he was doing and also did the clean up.

To top it off the final bill was way less than what I was expecting and was more than fairly priced.

I would highly recommend James and plan to use him every time I need a plumber
