Anchor 1 Plumbing and Heating

Recently, we had a problem with our water heater. We contacted Anchor l plumbing and heating (Patchogue NY) as per our insurance. The ""technician"" who came, diagnosed the problem as merely having to press the heater reset button. We were hoping this solved the problem, but it didn't. We still had a problem getting hot water and had reset the heater multiple times in the days afterward. We called Anchor l back and told them the problem. They said it was an electrical issue and needed to contact an electrician. I wasn't sure that was the problem. I called the company that had put in heater. Long story short, we need a new unit. I don't know if Anchor l is being lazy or inept (both?). If I had called an electrician like they suggested, l would of wasted more time and money. I wouldn't trust these buffoons to soak up a puddle much less any major plumbing work. Steer clear.
