After inspection last year, they installed a new condensation fan motor and capacitor for $499 Aug 2023. After 3 weeks of use this year, the main coils leaked all the refrigerant out and it caused the compressor to burn itself out. Note there was no AC use in between. It's going to be 109 degrees tomorrow. I will not be calling Sun City Plumbing and heating again.

I called due to a leak in the main water line coming in from the city. The technician, Josh, arrived ahead of schedule, after calling to make sure it was okay. The leak and the cause of the leak was found quickly. He was not prepared with the parts to reconnect the pipe and said that he was going to pick them up and get lunch, and would be ""right"" back. He returned and hour later (for which I was charged 120$) and fixed the leaking pipe. That should have been the end of it. He turned the water on in order to get the sediment out of the line, he opened up the faucets in the bathrooms and kitchen until they ran clear. He was not happy with the water pressure in the front yard faucet. This is when he created a problem. I had never in the five years that I have owned this house had a problem with that faucet. He proceeded to damage the stucco around the faucet to dig around behind it. Failing to find what he was looking for, he then removed a 6 ""x 8"" square of drywall from the inside of my garage. By this time, another truck showed up with two more guys, Daniel and Noah.
They spent several minutes discussing other clients and calls, while my cha-$$ing meter was running. They were actually laughing about leaving some guy with a wobbly toilet.
They explained that there was a split 2 x 4 behind the pipe in the garage that they could fix (for more$$$) and that of course they could get another department to replace the drywall for more$$$. They put white silicone around the faucet on the outside to seal it. I will have to find a more aesthetic finish myself, and replace the drywall in the garage. After all of this, I have been billed over 600$.
Bottom line: I feel that a leak that could have been fixed in 2 hours (including lunch), was turned into a much longer and more expensive event. They even padded more time in at the end by saying the tablet had overheated and they couldn't get it to work.
I do NOT recommend Sun City Plumbing and Heating. After reading other reviews, I agree with the customers who said that they deliberately created opportunities to pad the bill.

Jerry and Socorro did a masterful job of replacing both our HVAC systems, the compressors and air handlers. From the first knock on the door to the final walk through and operational instructions they were respectful, polite, focused and professional. The work done was impeccable and installation was superior to the initial installation by the house builders. The Trane units look great and the Sun City crew cleaned up after themselves to the point that one could not tell that work had been done over two days on both sides of our house. Thanks Sun City plumbing and happy holidays to all of of your staff!!!

On 6/26/23, the Trane AC/Furnace system installed by Sun City in the fall of 2020 in the house we bought in May 2021 stopped cooling. After we purchased the house, I had called Sun City about getting the warranty transferred to us which they arranged. I called Sun City and they indicated the first appointment they had available was on 6/30. I took the appointment but indicated that I was going to have an individual I knew who did AC work take a look at it to see if it was low on Freon. It was low and I had him top off the charge which brought the cooling back to life. Mike came by on 6/30 and did a check of the system and found there was a leak in the coil and it would need to be replaced. He indicated he would let me know when he could get the replacement delivered after he contacted Trane. On 7/2, it shut down again and Lalo came over to check the cooling system and found out the condensate pump had failed. He had one with him, installed it and the AC came back on. Mike let me know he'd be back on 7/17 to install the new coil. The cooling continued to work and on the 7/17, Mike and Heime arrived, replaced the coil, charged the system and checked to make sure there were no other leaks. On 7/19, the system was unable to keep up with the rising heat and Frank from Sun City came by to check for the cause. After checking the system and talking to Trane, it was determined that the compressor was failing. A compressor was ordered and Frank returned on 7/27 to install the new compressor. Fortunately the failing compressor held on until the new compressor was installed. The new compressor was installed, the Freon charge was topped up and the system came back on line. Later that day Ray came by to do a quick check after the system had been running for a while and added more Freon to bring the unit to full charge. On 8/8, a time was arranged for Manny to come by and do a quick check to make sure everything was still running properly. It appeared to be the case. He indicated that he was going to recommend that Frank and Victor come by to do a static system check given everything that had been done. They came by on 8/11 and found all was operating properly. Sun City's getting the warranty transferred covered the replacement parts and their team effort returned our AC to full working status. Thanks

We bought a new TRANE in March 2023 to replace an old Coleman that gave us fits and to get ready for the El Niño (hot!) summer.
When it came time to use the new TRANE it fell behind on cooling and the summer was hot...early! So we called and talked to Alex who sold us the unit and is manager over the AC installations.
We did not replace the blower/coils and we were told that was okay. When Alex came over he did a thorough diagnostics, at least over 2 1/2 hours. He finally found the problem in the coil setting and it was considered a 'big' find. The cooler did great after that fix and we are super indebted to his expert experience and tenacity. Thank you!

Team came out to repair slab leak and while they were at it, added a water softener. Estevan and his apprentices did a great job. And they were punctual. Instead of digging up my slab, they identified the faulty line, bypassed it, and ran a new line through the attic. This required some drywall repair. In comes Todd to complete the drywall, and he did some nice work with that - especially since he had to match the plastered wall look with fancy artesian patterns in it. Overall recommend for several reasons: quality work, timely, friendly, took the time to educate us, and the value for the price. They are not cheap, but they are worth it - a great VALUE. This is the company you want working on your HOME.

Needed general heating system check. Matt Parra was our HVAC technician and was friendly and thorough. Will be using them again in the spring for A/C maintenance.

The Sun City Plumbing & Heating service man was very nice and polite! My air conditioner was not cooling the house down. He told me he could add freon to the a/c but it wouldn't last very long. Boy was he ever right!!! It only lasted 2 days and if he had said it would be that short a time BEFORE I was charged over $300 I NEVER would have had him do that. I just threw my money away.... but at least I learned NEVER to use this company again! Terribly disappointed at being ripped off!

We had a leak that first appeared as a refrigerator problem, but we suspected that the leak was from behind the wall, with water on the outside near the foundation. We called Sun City on Easter Sunday, and Esteban called us in the evening, and told us what he suspected the problem. Today Daniel the tech came out, and methodically figured out the problem. Great service!!!!

I'm so appreciative of the quality of my new refrigerated air system installed in my home. The whole team was great, even the phone calls to stay in contact and let me know updates. A shout out to Jeff and Marciano for an incredible job. They were on time, efficient, respectful, and real gentlemen. It was obvious they had experience and knew what they were doing. Very professional service all in a day and a half! Thank you for an incredible job, well done!
