I've had anaconda here 3 or 4 times to get the roots out of my drain. They always did a good job. This time, however, not so much. I called because the toilet was clogged, thinking roots again. So they came out and snaked the drain and nothing. No water coming thru. They tried 3 or 4 times and no water came thru the drain. Faucets were running for half hour, but didn't run thru the drain.So he said he didn't know what the problem was, but he thought I had a broken pipe under the house. He said I should call somebody that did crawl space work. I asked if he couldn't snake the toilet and he said that wasn't the problem. So I paid him They were getting in the truck and I noticed it said they had a camera. So I went to the truck and asked why he didn't use the camera. His helper said the camera cost a lot of money and we don't drive around with it in the truck. We have to get an ok to use it...which seemed strange to me if you have a camera and can't find the clog why you would leave me with no working toilet for 2 days. I did call another plumber, and they did snake the outside drain. But because it was clear, they came in, removed the toilet, and snaked the drain. It took a few hours but the clog broke thru.So Joe, had you snaked my toilet you would have found the problem and I wouldn't have had to sit without a working toilet for 4 days.

Anaconda were prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and most importantly thorough. They snaked our main sewer line 5 times with increasingly larger bits in order to get all the roots, which was what was causing our blockage. They then ran a camera through after and showed us the line was completely clear all the way to the city sewer. While it wasn't cheap, it was money well spent. I definitely felt like I got exactly what I paid for and what I wanted, the job done right!

I had a back up in my basement. I had several companies out to fix the problem and they were unable to do so. They told me it was a broken pipe and said the basement floor will have to be broken up or my yard dug up to fix the problem. The quotes were expensive. A friend referred me to Anaconda, I called them and they came out and were able to fix my problem without having to break up the floor or excavate the yard. They were very knowledgeable and professional and they kept me in the loop about what was going on. I feel they were honest and affordable and would definitely recommend this company.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE EXCITED TO SPEND MONEY ON A PLUMBER.

Bear with me.

We had a different guy come out yesterday because our toilets and sinks were backed up, and water wasn't moving in our house. He spent 10 minutes ""cleaning"" our sewer line, then told us the pipe was broken, we'd need to replace ALL of it, and we'd also need to replace the water line in our basement. As in ... dig up our whole yard, bust through the sidewalk, and get the city involved.

Grand total: $5,600.

I didn't feel good about it. I insisted we call someone else.

NOTHING is wrong with our sewer line. We almost got taken for a $5,600 ride. There was a small root clog the first guy missed.

I called Anaconda Drain based on a bunch of reviews I read online. These guys are the most professional, thorough, courteous, and honest people you could ever hope for in this industry. All of the other reviews are true. They are my plumbing fantasy. (My husband is OK with that.)

All of this got me thinking about life (always expect me to go deep, even when plumbing is involved) ...

#1 -- Never take the first scary answer, especially if it's going to cost a lot of $$$ or something important is on the line.

#2 -- True service beats trickery EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. We get ahead in life by over-delivering and being consistent with excellence, not by pulling fast tricks.

I'm feeling insanely grateful for my flushing toilets and the $5,600 I didn't spend. ALSO: Hire these people the next time your plumbing gets janky. I will never call another plumber in my life.

Me and my wife bought our home 2 years ago woth a furnished basement with bathroom. On occasions the bathroom would back up we called other plumbers to come and fix problem would go away but we keep having them come back finally got sick of the back started looking for plumber to jet the we found Anaconda and they came out ask questions amd inspect our plumbing to make sure jetting would fix problem and it did my wife and myself are very satisfied with them we will call if any problems come up again

These guys are the only plumbers on Google with a five star rating and I know why. The biggest difference, they communicate! When they were running behind, they called before the appointment time to tell me. When they knew what what's wrong, they called me and told me in very plain terms that I could understand. When I thought I was going to pay through the nose, it was reasonable. Bottom line is if you are Downriver, use these guys!
