My water heater went out a few days ago. I tried to go through home owners insurance, but found them unresponsive, and unwilling to help. We needed hot water asap! I called this morning and asked if they had an appointment. I read off the numbers, and was called back 10 minutes later to tell me they had the water heater I needed and they would be by at 2 the same day! I wanted to give my business to a local company, and couldn't be happier! I will call with any future business needs without hesitation.

We have a sewer line that needs to be routed out three times a year because tree roots creep into the pipes. We have used various plumbers to do this over the years, but will stick with Anacapa from here on out because they are so easy to work with and their prices are fair. They don't try to upswell us on services we don't need, and they are always prompt and efficient.

Anacapa has done work for me at least a dozen times over the last few years, and I have generally been very satisfied with their work.

The largest job that I've had them do--installation of a drain to carry off rainwater that was pooling near my garage--ended up taking several weeks, but the drain worked as advertised when a torrential storm hit a few days after the work was completed.

In summary: Anacapa is professional, and their prices are competitive.

I called Anacapa late Wed afternoon when a loss of water pressure and subsequent discolored water, etc., had been going on for almost 3 days, Rick & Ryan showed up earlier than planned time on Thrs morning and quickly diagnosed the problem of a water softener which had not only reached its' level or being clogged up but had actually died ... thought it was a more modern/new model but apparently it wasn't so = kaput..

technicians offered options,.... it was obvious that they were interested in their work, and wanted repeat customers.... which I will be one. I'm not genereous with my five stars but Anacapa Plumbing deserves every one of them.

I called to have 2 toilets worked on and to replace 2 bathroom fixtures. 2 plumber's arrived but one left after 10-15 minutes and did not return until the end to pick up his partner. After they left neither toilet stopped running and one was so bad I had to turn the water off and couldn't use at all. And neither one of the stoppers in the sinks worked. One wasn't even connected.

I called immediately and was told they would return the next day to correct. No call and no show. I called again and left a message for Jeramiah the manager who called me back and made arrangements to do it himself the next day.
He did correct the shoddy work, apologized, and when I showed him my bill that I was charged 2 hours for 2 plumber's when only 1 was there he promised to reimburse me for the overcharge that week.

Months later after numerous attempts to get the promised refund I have received nothing.

Very disappointing

After posting my review Sean, the owner called immediately and promptly refunded my promised money as well as included a Gift Certificate. Apparently he was unaware of any of the issues and I really appreciated his prompt response.

Anacapa Plumbing are true professionals. They always do an amazing job for a reasonable price. We've tried lots of plumbers and they are by far the most responsive, fairly priced and quality. They have come in and fixed jobs that others tried to fix for less than half the price. We've now had them out several times and will always call them first in the future. I really can't praise them enough!
