I was referred to ample home improvement by American home shield. Several weeks ago they stated that they ordered the wrong part and would correct this mistake my getting the correct part and returning to complete the install. This did not happen. I have called several times and spoke with them on returning, no one has returned my call. Do not sign off on anything with this company if you chose to use them and if American home shield has referred them use someone else!!

WORKMANSHIP IS TERRIBLE!!! Perry Haywood is very DISHONEST....Left me with several issues that includes safety issues (electrical....) roofing, plumbing and mold. Poor communication. Left me with costly repairs and issues.

I would give zero stars but that isn't an option. BIG NO to this company! Simply the worst contracting company I have ever had to deal with. The owner Mr. Perry Harwood appears to be a very dishonest man and I would not trust giving him any business anymore! He told me I have to pay the full costs of the work upfront for doing the job and he did absolutely nothing. He was sent by CHW and didn't show up for the appointment the very first day. Basically he had me pay him hundreds of dollars for repair/replacement of my soaking tub faucet and the work required to remove & replace the tiles in front of it, some mold remediation (that he said was needed), as well as kept trying to talk me into doing all of this work to my bathroom that would have added up to a little over $5K, (including replace my flooring) I'm so glad that I didn't contract for the extras. I did pay him the $900+ upfront, but HE NEVER RETURNED TO DO ANY OF THE WORK AT ALL! After speaking with him 2 weeks ago I was unable to reach him after that and couldn't leave a message as the voicemail box was full so I had to keep leaving my number. He was supposed to send me some pics for the faucet replacement on 1/24/23 but I never heard from him again. This is bad business acumen and I would not recommend him or his company ""Ample Home Improvements"" to anyone. I had to report to CHW that he never showed for the repairs/replacement, nor did he contact me, and they should stop giving him work as he can't be trusted to complete the job. There were too many no call/no shows with this company. They don't deserve any stars. Just wish I had read the reviews when they were first listed on my CHW claim.

I hired Ample Home Improvement for a relatively small renovation. The estimate and contract they offered was in poor faith, and new charges kept popping up every week, while work wasn't been completed. Eventually, because Ample breached the contract, I took them to arbitration. The arbitrator made a judgement in my favor which Ample Home Improvement is refusing to pay.

Worst experience i have had. My home warranty AHS sent then to repair a roof leak that i had. They spent a max of 10 minutes by coming in my house looking at where it had leaked and took a couple of pictures and then left. Never once actually walked on the roof. Called me from the car outside my house and said couldn't do the job. Said they would let my warranty company know. I waited a day for my warranty company to call and you ended up calling my warranty company who told me they never heard from them. So they tried to call Ample and couldn't reach them. I called the next day and did the same thing they couldn't get a hold of Ample and my warranty said they can't send another company out until Ample calls them to tell them that they couldn't do the job and refund the money back to my warranty company. I then called Ample on a number that they had called me at and was able to get a hold of someone and told them they needed to call my warranty company. They said they would do it now. Well it has been over a week and they still have yet to communicate with my home warranty company and tell them. So i can't have another company come and actually fix the leak because this Ample home improvement company won't call them and refund them the money. I do not recommend this company at all.

This company is not one I would suggest because they did a poor job on their tasks. They were completely unprofessional, never showed up on time, and didn't seem to care about their work. I didn't want to leave any stars, but I didn't have that option.

The worst service possible. I've been waiting a whole month to get a leak fixed and they keep rescheduling me. Every time I call the company they seem to make more excuse. I would not recommend using them

BIG NO to this company! Simply the worst contracting company I have dealt with. The owner is a very dishonest man and I would not trust giving him any business. He told me I have to pay him in advance for doing the job and he did absolutely nothing. He stole hundreds of dollars I gave him for repair without doing any work. When I called him to ask him to reimburse me because he did not do any work, he he said ""don't call me anymore"" and hanged up on me.

Received referral via warranty company for drywall repair of ceiling leak. Workers came , took pictures, ready to begin same day until discovered water damage not covered by warranty company. They started packing up as and took off with warranty co pay while I was talking on phone to owner. Haywood . He explained in detail what needed to be done and said would give me a free in person estimate . I made warranty co payment over the phone Since the owner was professional, appeared knowledgeable and liked pics of work I saw online , I made appointment on website for estimate . When no one showed, I called and was told they didn't know of appointment , have had this problem with website for months, had been meaning to correct this . Red flag but continued because the owner set up appointment with me for 2 days later. Haywood arrived, again talked my "" husband "" by phone, said would get estimate that eve ,could at least start job ( remove mold ) and would be cheaper if removed ceiling fan so we did. Well, it's been almost 2 weeks, fan down, no estimate , no return calls , not an inch of repair and out of $85. Watch out ladies ! Feels as if plan was to try to get over on a woman, , but ran into intelligent woman with a "" husband"" with knowledge of the job.

The contractor is very rude. First, the technician shows up with no shoe covers and walks into our house. When asked, he told us that their company didn't give enough shoe covers and asked us to provide plastic bags to wrap around his feet. He told us that the unit can't be repaired and he will put in for replacement in his diagnosis. After 4 days, we contacted Ample office and a gentleman named Perry picked up the phone. He was very rude, didn't want to acknowledge our concern and finally hung up without listening to us. CHW has engaged this firm and they asked us to contact Ample for the diagnosis report. The experience is very bad and disappointing. We won't recommend this contractor to anyone. They don't deserve any stars.
