This company was dispatched by our home warranty service. It was, by far, the best experience I have had using our home warranty. No games, no up charge. The leak was fixed immediately. Danny was professional, on time and extremely thorough. We will use them even when we do not have warranty work!

I was a little apprehensive about this company coming out fix a leak. They were chosen by my home warranty company and it seems that people either love them or hate them. I have to say I am in the first group. I filed my claim with the home warranty company on Sunday night. By 11am Monday, I had received a call from Amigos to set up an appointment. Since it wasn't a major leak, I was ok with the fact that they wouldn't be able to come until Tuesday. They gave me a 2 hour window of arrival, which is great for someone who has a full time job. They also called like they said they would when they were on their way. That allowed me to stay at work until I knew they were coming. By the time I got there, they were waiting for me. Danny was the main plumber working on the leak, and he had a helper with him getting the supplies out of the truck to make things faster. He diagnosed the problem and asked my permission to cut the wall. It turns out that one of the valves that connects the water to the washing machine was leaking. He tried to just replace the valve but it was so old he ended up having to cut some of the pipe to get it off. Within 30 minutes, he had repaired the leak, tested his work, replaced my washer and left. Danny was extremely polite, and friendly. He did his job well and was able to answer questions that I had without seeming like I was bothering him. All in all, a very positive experience!

Nothing but accolades for these guys!!!

They were dispatched by OneGuard for a gas leak in my fireplace. Danny and apprentice Anthony came right on time and listened to all my concerns and what a fireplace inspection and another plumber said what was wrong with my fireplace valve. They diagnosed the issue and went to make a quote and call my warranty company. Turns out OneGuard gave me wrong information and wouldn't cover the repair but Amigos plumbing was already here and had diagnosed and quoted the issue and repair.

I asked Danny to explain the parts to be replaced and the process. He did with great explanation so I understood exactly what needed to be done and that everything from my main line would be brand new.

I couldn't afford the full repair but agreed to a partial repair so that a shut off valve was placed and there would be no possible future leaks. Danny understood and did not try to upsell me or pressure me to do the full repair today.

They fixed the problem and were in and out in just over an hour even with dealing with the home warranty company. Danny also left me the original quote so when I was ready I would know what needed to be completed in the future. Danny was also kind enough to take a look at my electric stove and give me a quote for installing a gas stove.

DEFINITELY recommend Danny and Anthony and can't wait to get the future work done with these guys!!!

I see allot of five stars and one stars for this company so I can only relate my experience. My home warranty company sent Amigos for a leak in my upstairs bathroom that was coming through my downstairs ceiling. When the two gentlemen arrived, they seemed friendly and immediately went to work locating the leak. In order to do so, they had to cut a small portion from my already damaged ceiling. The lead plumber made sure that I was very aware of what they had to do to access the leak and that I was OK with that. They were able to locate the leak, repair the leak and test out the repair within 30 minutes. They advised me of the 30 day warranty if the leak comes back and they were on their way. I tested for the leak myself filling the tub and their repair had in fact fixed the leak.

Basically, I felt they were friendly, skilled, fast and efficient. So yeah, in my experience I would rate them five stars.

I was assigned A Dos Amigos Plumbing by One Guard Home Warranty Company. The company called right away and arrived by noon on Friday May 27th. The repairman told my husband GE no longer manufactures the 2009 hot water tank and that the pilot assembly part is difficult to locate. The repairmen, Justin and Robert, while nice told us they would try to locate the part and if they could not, we would need to replace. Saturday morning we woke to the pilot off again, called the One Guard Home Warranty and called Amigos Plumbing. Amigos Plumbing is out until Tuesday with a have a nice Memorial Day message and closed up without calling in information to One Guard. As far as finding the part, I called GE myself and found the part in 5 minutes. The part is being shipped by Federal Express but cannot arrive until Wednesday because of the holiday. The cost of the part is free because the product is under warranty! The home warranty people will have to pay for the labor to install the part. The repairman should have followed up, ordered the part that would have been here by Tuesday at the latest!

My daughter and her fiance recently purchased a house in San Marcos. They purchased a home warranty. Upon realizing they had a plumbing problem they contacted the service and Dos Amigos, Austin was assigned to the repair. On this past Saturday Jordon from Dos Amigos came right on time. He was gracious, professional and proficient. He made the repair in no time. Made suggestions for another issue. He showed me where the main shut off for the house was and the whole time a gentleman with a smile. I would request Jordon every time. I am a home owner and know many people. I would never hesitate to recommend Dos Amigos, Austin and Jordon to all my friends.

I called in a repair to the Home Warranty company and they sent out Amigos Plumbing. My water heater was old and breaking down. The guys at Amigos diagnosed and ordered a replacement. They did the installation a few days later at my convenience. It was a difficult job with the water heater in the attic...also the unit was full of sediment and could not be easily drained. Al and Kurt of Amigos handled it professionally and quickly. Also fixed a problem with the venting of the water heater in the attic. Amigos plumbers were friendly and easy to work with..and now I have plenty of hot water...everything was done competently and by the warranty specifications. No surprises. Job well done by Amigos Plumbing.

I am big on reviews so when our home warranty people decided to send these guys out for a plumbing issue, I begged them to send someone else based on the horrible reviews. I really did. They said to call them back if I ran into any problems, and I was ready to at the sign of anything problematic.

I had not even a little hiccup with them.

I got a call back same day to be scheduled quickly. They sent out Colby who was the world's nicest, most polite plumber (and possibly polite service person ever.) He diagnosed our problem quickly and even though our lame home warranty company didn't cover the cost, he worked with us to bring the cost down because he was understanding. I was very indecisive about when to get the work done which sent him back and forth to his truck a few times, I'm an annoying customer sometimes like that. But he was understanding and ended up coming out the following week to fix our problem.

The problem is fixed perfectly, and he actually uncovered a leak we hadn't known about while fixing the original problem. Fixed that, and we expect to save lots on our water bill thanks to his quick and thorough work!
