I had roots growing from a tree in my front yard that had completely blocked my sewer line and water was backing up into the house right after we had just moved into the home. I called a plumber and he came to snake the pipe for me. Within a day it was backing up again. That plumber suggested I call Amigo Rooter so I could scope the line and see what was happening. After snaking and sending down a bladder to reclear the line Amigo ran a camera down and showed me exactly where and how badly blocked the line was. I called them back the next morning to get a quote from them to perform a spot repair and to clean out the sewer line at the point of the blockage. They came within minutes of my call because they have guys on both sides of the valley. They gave me a very fair rounded quote and after digging down more than 6 feet and out to my sidewalk they stayed pleasant and worked tirelessly to complete it for me in 1 day. John came around 8:00 in the morning and left around 7:00 that night. They never even stopped to take a proper lunch. Eddie and John were so nice and they worked until after dark, completing the job, putting the yard back into order and repairing a sprinkler line that they had been forced to cut into for access. They spliced close to 4 feet of severely blocked pipes and it took them a lot longer to clean out than a ""typical"" blockage but they stayed until it was done and they didn't change the price after it took longer than anticipated. I seriously cannot say enough about how happy I am that I called them! People that answer the phone, come when you need them and charge reasonable rates. What a concept!

The night before a significant trip to the east coast, my house lost its water supply. The valve connecting my house to the municipal supply got stuck in the closed position and I had simply no way of resolving the problem. As luck would have it, Amigo was local and still open late in the day. I was able to quickly and painlessly set up an appointment to have the work finished. They were able to arrive the same day and resolve my issue within an hour, which prevented me from needing to worry about some horrible fate befalling my home while I was thousands of miles away. They came to my house twice in a few days to help make sure my laundry room was in great shape for a new washer and dryer. And I gave them pretty much no notice for the second portion, which was to install a laundry tub. They double teamed it to ensure completion prior to the delivery, and they literally finished as the truck pulled up. And on a miserably hot and humid day with no ac. They are absolutely worth every penny, and are a pleasure to have working in your home; kind, courteous, great communication and always striving to ensure that the customer is happy.

I hired Nelson (owner) shortly after talking to him. I gave him my problem (busted water pipe, main pipe from city to house valve) and he gave me a rounded estimate. Very simple and felt right. The final bill was around the estimate he gave me. I had talk to other companies but did not feel right, one dude wanted money up front. Anyways, I recommend Nelson.

I recently had a terrific experience with Amigo. I was in a pinch when another valley company canceled on my wife and I on the last days of our home inspection, and we were advised to speak with Amigo by another reputable local plumber. Nelson was professional and courteous as I explained our need for his services right away. He had his guys show up the very next day to inspect our sewer line. After all inspections were complete, I had Amigo come back out to the house and work on my water heater, drains, and gas lines. Once the work was completed, they walked me through exactly what had been done and all of their work was extremely thorough. I'm very satisfied with my experience with Amigo, they were friendly, professional and very punctual. Their prices were very reasonable as well, I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat!
