I reached out to Johnny requesting assistance with the installation of a Whirlpool Cabrio gas dryer in a very tight space in an apartment. Johnny returned my call promptly and thankfully was able to squeeze me in his schedule later the same day. Johnny was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, thorough and honest. I honestly didn't think the dryer was going to fit and I was dreading having to purchase a smaller one. I watched Johnny assess the situation, contemplate different strategies to make it work and find a solution. We needed to install a portable air conditioner in our garage. While the normal installation is through a window our garage does not have any windows so it had to be vented through the wall. Using yelp to contact the AMI Handyman was super easy. He was responsive and timely in all of our communications. We established an appointment time and he was here on time and ready to go. Johnny can do just about anything you require, and he will make sure that it's done perfectly. He built a beautiful fence in our backyard, constructed a solid deck in the front, tore out and rebuilt a stairway, and did decorative tile work; just to list a few of the jobs that he's done in and around my home. Johnny and Marie did a partial renovation on our recently purchased 101 year old home. It was in BAD shape. The walls were beyond gross; they had several different textures, holes, and many years worth of filth. We did not want to do new walls throughout so Johnny repaired the existing walls, sanded and retextured and painted throughout the house. He restored all the doors, rebuilt the built in shelving, installed a hood vent that never existed so he had to cut the roof to install it, removed the bars from all the windows and repaired the window casings, paint throughout the house, hung bistro lights in the backyard, built and installed rodent covers on the exterior, installed Nest security system, hung window roller shades, and on and on and on!!!

If I could give 10 stars I would! This is our handyman/renovation team for life! Honest, hard working, does the job right, communicative, and a fair price! We truly could not be happier with the 6 week partial renovation Johnny & Marie did for us! Make sure to zoom in on the before pics of the walls to see the MANY imperfections and gross'ness (the photos don't do justice to how bad they were, but it will make you appreciate the after photos even more). We trusted this husband wife team to create our vision and they BEYOND blew our minds! The home is so beautiful, warm and inviting now.

We will have AMI back to build us a new fence, to do the interior work of our addition, to paint the exterior, and to keep this 101 year old bungalow looking beautiful!
