We had a major water line break unexpectedly and Amesos was the ONLY plumber of four who responded to my call. I selected them because of the terrific reviews and they lived up to--exceeded--my expectations. Not only did they devise a temporary fix for the line break, but they promptly returned and worked out a very cost-effective permanent solution. Nick was great and his team was creative, skilled, courteous--and properly masked and safely distanced. This is my new ""go-to"" plumber.

Just don't -- esp. if you're looking at sewer lateral replacement. Out of the 20-some-odd contractors we have dealt with in our remodel, these guys were the only real shysters. My foundation/framing contractor tried to tell me these guys have a rep in the biz for being ""a*holes,"" and I should have listened: I worked all the way to the top, and they are indeed.
This is a story much too long for a Yelp review, but it involves them holding captive our grant funds from the Ross Valley sewer lateral replacement program, as well as a truly stunning level of professional incompetence. They bid a trenchless sewer lateral replacement, then said it needed to be trenched after beginning work. When I presented 3 other contractors showing it was totally doable trenchless, they just got stubborn and refused to honor their contract. I went with one of those other 3 other (competent) shops after taking a multi-thousand-dollar hit.

Reliable, fast, well done job. Will be using them for all of my plumbing jobs from now on!!! Best pricing also.
they showed up exactly when they said they would show up and if something needed to be ordered they went way out of their way to make sure they could get the part as quickly as possible.!! One of the best! Thanks Tony!!

Hands down the best plumbing experience ever (and I've used several in Marin). I had water pressure issues that were getting progressively worse. Decided to try Amesos. Spoke to Richard and he spent at least 10 minutes walking me through the potential issues and relayed everything to the technician (Channa). Channa arrived, checked the pressure valve which was good. Then checked our pipes - including crawling under our house which is miserable without a complaint - they turned out to be copper not galvanized (good). The determined a previous repairman hadn't turned up the clamp valve properly. Viola problem fixed. Channa wore a mask the entire time. Then when they went to bill me -- expecting to pay the 1 hour minimum, they decided to only charge for a half hour ($87). Awesome - I will be back!

This...this company is as good as it gets. I called them because I had a clogged kitchen sink that drain-o couldn't fix. They were able to send a plumber within 2 hours, assess my issue within 30 minutes of arrival, determine a solution which was not an easy task (Snaking did not do the trick), IMPLEMENT THE FIX and provide recommendations going forward...ALL within 3 hours and at a VERY reasonable price.
This is my go to plumber for life and will ALWAYS get a recommendation to friends and family from me.
Great work guys, keep up the good fight!

I had a leaking kitchen faucet, and I wanted to replace a couple of sticking valves under the sink. Nothing complicated, but some plulmbers make things harder than they should be.
Amesos offered a good experience from the first telephone call to their leaving me with sound fixtures and a clean kitchen.
Their plumber arrived on time, communicated clearly, was efficient and polite, and did good work.
They charged fairly for the work, didn't push any extra work or parts.
Very glad to know of this resource in mid-Marin.

Tragedy averted thanks to Amesos!
We used Amesos to replace our sewer main when we first moved in to our new house about 18 months ago and they did a great job then.
So when we sprung a leak under our kitchen sink and I couldn't get the shut off valve to turn it off we called Amesos. They sent out Chandler between scheduled jobs who arrived in just a couple of hours, in plenty of time for us to have kept things relatively dry with towels and drip pans.
Chandler was courteous, professional and on the spot, and he determined that the shut off valve itself was the issue. He replaced it quickly and without incident, as well as a second shut-off valve under the sink as a preventative, since it was also old and likely to fail sooner rather than later.
Coincidentally we have also been having some issues with our under sink hot water dispenser, and he helped us trouble shoot that as well, as a courtesy.
I'm so pleased about the service and professionalism from Amesos. No one likes to have to call a plumber, especially not related to an emergency, but this was as good as that situation gets, and I would not hesitate to recommend Amesos or use them again in the future.

We have used them a few times to replace our galvanized piping with copper piping. In all cases they were very responsive, came when they said they would be here and stuck to their estimate. This last time we replaced the piping up to the bathroom shower, along with new fixtures. I am aware of construction practices and Sean was easy to work with, very professional, communicates very good and does great work. I have and will continue to recommend their work.

This is the way all services should be performed: easy to schedule, arrived on time, completed work quickly, neatly and competently. Charge rate of $175/hour a bit steep, but worth it given the speedy service.

I called about a disposal that was not working and they walked me through trouble shooting on the phone. This solved the problem. They talked themselves out of a job. Decent folks!
