Last month we had a clogged drain that was due to a ton of roots and a partially collapsed drain pipe. Kudos to Roni for his persistence in ultimately clearing and repairing the portion of collapsed drain pipe in our backyard. It has since rained several times and water is no longer filling up the drain.

When you need emergency sewer work in San Rafael, you MUST call around until you find someone who can respond quickly. I was amazed at how many other plumbers who couldn't come over in time alteratively recommended i call Amesos. These guys are the plumbers that OTHER plumbers suggest you try.

Nico and the rest of the team ere quick to make us a priority. We had just gotten a $8600 bid from another well known San Rafael plumber (who sends a sales person, not a plumber to your home). Something didn't smell right (literally) and so I called around. I'm so glad Nico and the others told me what was actually wrong with my pipes.

The issue wasn't even in the house; the tree roots grew into the sewer lateral. For $800, they pulled the roots out, snaked the block, and then told me how to keep it clear myself moving forward.

Then they worked with my home warranty to get $725 of it covered! I can't believe these guys. I'll never use another plumber in San Rafael.

I cannot say enough good things. I first called a neighborhood company to do work on my mother's leaking shower. They charged $50 to look at it and $350 more, and said that they replaced the valves. The leaking did not stop. They tried a quick-sale and repeated telephone calls to get me to agree to $3700 to replace the main shower valve (nothing in writing). I called a contractor friend, who told me that the price was outrageous and it was a 3 hour job, at best. I then remembered Amesos Plumbing. I called them a few years ago for some small jobs - fixing something at my house and replacing my mother's garbage disposal. From the start, the guy on the phone said that he did not think that the whole valve needed to be replaced and he would send an experienced plumber to look at it - no cost. He said he could easily fix it with ceramic valves. They came back a few days later and replaced the valves and showed me the old ones - the first company never replaced them, just the rubber gasket. The total cost from Amesos - $305. They saved me $3,200. I will never use anyone else again.

This company is amazing. I have been using them for years and yesterday while having a washing machine delivered a pipe broke. I called them up and they were able to get a plumber on site within 20 minutes!! I could have been lucky but they got the work done, installed the washing machine and saved the day. Not having water for a day or two isn't fun when everyone is home because of Covid. They are an awesome company and I highly recommend them!! They definitely go above and beyond!
