We had an issue with a clogged drain in our basement. America's Plumbing employee, Trevor, did an outstanding job in clearing out the problem. Trevor was prompt, working hard the entire time he was here and when done, took the time to answer our questions and educated us as to some precautions we need to take to keep our plumbing working properly. I would highly recommend America's Plumbing for any of your drain or Plumbing needs. Trevor was very respectful of our home while taking care of a very unpleasant issue, which also meant a lot! Clogged drain.
All they brought was a jetter so they left all the roots in my system. My problem was not fixed and they left me with the bill and a 6k estimate as my only solution. They also left ripped up gloves on my roof and trash in the street on their way out. (The easiest mainline access in my house is on the roof)

I called another company for a second estimate and not only did they fix the problem for a couple hundred... It was done in less than an hour.
My drains are singing as water just rushes right down now.

I could chalk it up to them not bringing the right equipment. It also was about to rain so they didn't want to be on my roof when it started... but they charged so much for so little....

I don't write a lot of reviews but this would have financially ruined me if I followed through without getting a second opinion.

I was not happy with my experience with America's Plumbing Company. When they arrived at my house, it was a young man about my age. He started by asking where some plumbing access points were in my home, I apologized and said I wasn't sure and his response was very condescending and he repeated my statement as if I was an idiot. I had previously mentioned that I JUST bought the house and that was my move-in day. I did not know where everything was that they needed.

Once he got to where he needed to be and started on my root growth issue, they sprayed contents from the drain all over the drywall in my utility room and didn't bother mentioning it or trying to wipe it clean. After nearly 3.5 hours, they mentioned that they had to leave for another job and would come back. When he did, they came back with an older man who was very friendly and explained things well to me and my husband. After more hours of work, and NO cleanout of my root growth, I was told it was nearly $1100 for the day, and I would need to excavate my yard and replace the pipes all the way to the house. By doing so, I need to cut down the tree in my backyard and redo the deck so they can get the pipes redone under it. We were PISSED. Not only for what we knew we would have to do next but the fact we just paid over $1000 for nothing.

We called another plumber out who did the water-jet thing the same way, removed SO MUCH of the roots outside in a massive pile so we would actually see how much work was done. Said we needed to replace some of the piping but NOT all of it. We had an excavator come out and replace the pipes for just under $2000. America's plumbing said it was going to be between $6900 and $8000. Also, we removed the tree to prepare for the pipe removal and it was never needed like America's plumbing swore it was.

Needless to say, I will never use their services again. They were a ripoff, the youngest one was condescending as soon as he got here, made me feel like an idiot in my own house and they told me I had to do nearly $8000 worth of work that I didn't even need to do, cut down a tree that I didn't need to cut down...It was my second day in my new house and I was completely ripped off.
