Was quoted $149 flat fee for replacing two toilet intake valves. Lincoln arrived one hour late. Told him to only replace flappers if they were in bad shape. Replaced them regardless even though they were in good shape. Charged me an additional $58 without informing me for a five minute job. They lost me as a customer. Don't trust them.

Please be advised that this """" American Handy"""" was a referral from an """" Agency"""" that sends """" so called experts """" out to your home for any repairs. I cannot believe, the 1st time, this """" Handyman """" came to my home, """" & used cheap materials, and supplies, for a faucet; I was dismayed, by the ETHICS; this Company possesses !! The next time. I need help, I called """" American Handy"""", with a recording that said """" the number you have reached, is not in service, if you feel, you have reached this number, by mistake, please, try your call again """" An """" automated Voice message"""" , for this Handyman !! I believe it was through, the """"Blue & White"""" listings, encased in a box ( of blue & white ) that sent this """" Handyman """" to me, through their Company ! They are the Company, the workers only receive a small % .... Doesn't surprise me, that this handyman disassociated himself from this Company!! Please, be aware & ask for 3-5 references, before they touch anything in your home!!! Respectfully, jan

We put out a request for an Electric Panel Upgrade/Replacement and Lincoln not only responded the fastest out of several businesses, but he was able to provide us with a FREE estimate in minutes just from us providing a few photos. Everyone else was pestering us to do an in-home appointment estimate, one of which provided a free one so we allowed it, and they quoted us over $700 more than what Lincoln did! We received many quotes and his seemed the most reasonable. So we scheduled the service with Lincoln and just a few days later, he showed up on time and completed the entire job in just a matter of hours. The new electrical panel was tested and tweaked to get everything back up and running properly. However, there were two large holes left in the wall once everything was said and done, and this was not discussed at all to be expected prior to the work - much less that fixing it would be at our own expense. We were told it could be taken care of for an additional $350+, which would now put the job over the budget of the other estimates. After hearing that, I decided to just patch it up myself as I already had everything necessary to take care of it. Whether or not this is typical for this type of work, we were not made aware of it and expectations for it were never set nor mentioned anytime prior or during the work. We would've very much appreciated knowing this up front!
