I can't say enough of this company. They have taken care of all my friends and family members. I've had several plumbing companies try to locate a small gas line leak in between my wall in my living room. No one was able to find it. Russell, (plumber) was able to locate it in minutes with minimal damaged. Don't be afraid to give these guys a call. They are the real deal.

""America's Best Plumbing"" did the sewer line hook-up in the property next to my property. While doing so, they damaged my mail box, and the asphalt on my driveway. When I requested a replacement of my mail box, and installation, the owner Russel called me ""hard to deal with"" and accused me of having my mail box ""at the wrong place"". The mail box was not the problem, but his crew's reckless and careless operation style. He handed me the replacement mail box after trying to intimidate me several times. His excavator Bill would pay me the money for the installation, he said. Has not happened yet. Best to get the CA Licensing Board involved. America's Worst Plumbing !

Chad with America's Best Plumbing is absolutely THE BEST! He literally saved my life yesterday and I couldn't be more grateful!
I stopped off the 5 Freeway in Bakersfield to get gas and use the restroom after coming south from Monterey heading home to Newport Beach and my rental car keys accidentally fell into the toilet and it happened to be an auto-flush type toilet and down they went! Yea, worst nightmare possible on a road trip in a rental car with all my luggage inside including my handbag.
After an hour on the phone with Avis roadside assistance getting nowhere a call was made to America's Best (it was now after 6PM so I was just hoping that someone would still be open and available to come out to the Chevron and rescue me). Elly was so sweet and said she'd send someone right away and Chad arrived less than an hour later.
He immediately got to work and assured me he was always the ""MacGyver"" type able to figure a way, anyway to get the job done! I immediately felt calmer when he arrived (and he's easy on the eyes, the opposite of what a ""normal plumber"" looks like lol) He turned off the water and removed the toilet and fed his camera down and there my keys were on the screen!! Now he had to figure out a way to get them out... he got a strong magnet from the gas station attendant and duct taped it to the end of his camera and fished them out!!!! SUCCESS!!

I was referred to this plumbing company by my fellow realtor friends. They were very nice, reasonably priced. But buyer beware. They came out too fix a thermometer on my water heater that was going bad. Mind you the water heater had no other issues before they came out. They fixed the thermometer and did not turn my water back on when they left. I woke up to find no hot water in my tank and noticed the valve was turned off. As soon as I turned the valve back on I noticed a pretty heavy leak from my trp valve. I called them to come back out and they said it would be another $125 to come out and look at it. So you telling me it was fine, you came out and fixed something, and magically it started leaking. Have enough business acumen and customer service to at least come out and look at it free of charge.

Chad was a fantastic plumber. The work was very good.They let us make payments which was nice because we just had a baby and things can get tight. We were late on our second payment which was our fault but they threatened to not pay the plumber which we thought was strange as it wasn't Chad's fault. They threatened to deduct it from his paycheck. We were trying to get the money together so that nothing bad happened to him. When we called to pay we talked to some lady. I let her know I thought it was ridiculous that they would hold his paycheck like that since it wasn't his fault at all. Her response was that it was ridiculous that we didn't have enough money and needed to make payments in the first place. I was very shocked at how rude she was to us the entire time. I probably won't come back here but not because of the plumbing work, but because the lady that takes the payments doesn't think they need business. To hold a worker's check hostage is just wrong, she had a lot to say about that.

edit* the owner called and spoke to us and was also very kind. Sometimes it just takes someone who isn't nice to ruin it. The owner and plumber did great work, just stay away from the payment lady and make sure if you have over a thousand dollars of work that needs to be done you have the money first. We felt bad about our error but didn't think she needed to make comments on what we can afford.
