Incredible hydrojetting work. I found them on nextdoor.com where lots of local residents sang their praises. I had root-infested mainline (there are hills and tons of foliage/trees around our local city-sewer) and Americana posted a $399 hydrojetting special. I contacted them around 7:15 pm one night and Gary called me back super soon thereafter. We scheduled it for the next mid-morning. I was blown away at their readiness and availability, bc a month before I contacted Americana, I had another plumbing back-up, with sewage emerging from my clean-out after every flush or shower. At the time I contacted another co., Papa's Plumbing , because they dropped off a coupon. That coupon gave me the ""right"" to ""only"" pay $450 PER HOUR for them to hydrojet my sewer main. They spent an hour on it and told me they got out as much as they could, given their difficult access to my pipes via an inconvenient clean-out location, bla bla bla. Well as you can see, a month later, it backed up AGAIN. I scheduled a warranty-re-visit w/Papa's, but they pushed it due to what they claimed was Covid causing chronic staff absenteeism. They finally gave me a date (about 5 days after my initial call) and then cancelled THAT one, saying my tech was out sick. Meanwhile, Americana to the rescue, who worked and worked and worked it, for about 3-4 hours. They charged me NOT by the HOUR but by the job. They shot it on camera, showed me the footage of the before and after (they got it CLEAN!) and then sent me a link to a youtube post of my footage. So dialed in!!! They got suuuuuper dirty doing my ""crappy"" work but NEVER complained. I gave them $100 tip because I realized just how much they deserved it--in comparison to the other plumber. Fortunately, after much back-&-forthing, the other plumber sent me a refund check.
Also: the camera showed a cracked city-owned clay pipe and a back-up on their end. YOU can just BET I contacted L.A. Bureau of Sanitation to clear it out and AMAZINGLY they showed up right away! Gary was able to show the city's lead worker the footage proving they had a back-up. INCREDIBLE!!

Upshot: my problem will not go away. Roots are gonna keep growing, through the city's clay pipe cracks. But turns out the homeowner's responsible for the part of the city's pipe that shows cracks. It's a shame the city doesn't change THEIR pipes to ABS. What are they waiting for?! So I was advised by several plumbers to have those pipes lined with a plastic they use, to prevent roots from EVER getting in. That's next on the agenda. It's a big, pricey job. Gary provided me w/an estimate, and I'll compare it against another. The plot thickens, literally & figuratively.....!

In short, call Americana. They da best!

I'm so glad I found Americana Plumbing. I needed to repair my sewer line without completely breaking the bank. Gary and Max were professional, friendly and honest. Gary clearly explained what needed to be done and what my options were (without trying to up-sell me). He and his crew showed up on time, did an excellent job and finished on time. I can tell they take pride in their work. What more can you ask for? I'll be sure to call them again for any plumbing issue.

I found this guy Gary on Craig's list, he well proved himself. Hard working respectful and professional. He ran a sewer camera to identify the blockage then performed hydro jetting in the in the sewer pipe to remove tree roots that where blocking septic water from draining. He also ran a rotor rooter snake Chain to clean the final miniature roots remaining. He left the clay pipe nice and clean with water flowing properly. His pricing is very Reasonable. The best part is I was able to watch the camera screen and blockage. My wife was very happy with his service. I definitely recommend his service.

We had plumbing issue in our house and had a couple of plummets to visit the house and give us very expensive estimates to fix it, so I kept looking for other estimates and got Gary's number from my friend, he showed up on time and he fixed our issue right away! Unbelievable!
All other plumbers were talking about demolition and a lot of cost, he fixed our issue right a way without any construction..
I trust him and would definitely recommend him to my friends, he is very knowledgeable and fair person.

Being female and I'm always concerned with getting taken advantage of with contractors, scope creep, inflated estimates, etc. I have had multiple estimates of the work and knew the range of costs and the lack of a guarantee with this type of work.

I needed a bunch landscape drains cleared. They have never been able to be successfully cleared in more than 8 years. I would normally have to wear my rain gear and shovel-push water off of the property, especially near the pool equipment.

Finally, in years, this drain works. You can see the silt and ash clumped in the gutter. My home backs into a canyon that had caught fire in 2010 and 2019. Water + ash is similar to concrete. Gary really had the patience clear these 9 drains.

Gary came by on time and stayed for 6 hours to clear all of these drains. I only had one broken connection that connected to a pipe too clogged with roots and soil to hydrojet. The price he quoted on the Messenger did not change, even though the difficulty was worse than expected with typical landscape drains.
