Company Overview

Located in Orlando, we are a plumbing and construction services company that is veteran-owned and operated. We bring more than 20 years of experience from New Hampshire, NYC, and Florida. we are licensed and insured. We leverage military discipline and years of plumbing experience to manage everything from tiny leak repairs to significant new construction projects in Central Florida.

I am a second-generation plumber with more than 20 years of practical experience. I started plumbing as a child, holding the flashlight for my father, and continued until I enlisted in the Army. I only took a break from plumbing for my seven years of service in the Army. I completed a five-year apprenticeship in NYC, earning every certification available while working on some of the largest projects in the city. I have worked on landmark projects such as the World Trade Center, NY Presbyterian Hospital, the five bridges to Manhattan, the Verizon tower, and various high-rises. I moved to Florida three years ago and passed all required tests to secure my Florida plumbing license and additional certifications. I am committed to bringing military-style discipline, values, and craftsmanship to the wonderful people of Florida. I look forward to helping you with any plumbing needs you may have, as I can’t see myself doing anything else.

Matt is not a well experienced plumber. I highly doubt he has the years of experience he claims. He dibbled and dabbled and said he found the leak and fixed it, only to find out he did a temporary fix!!! Had a real plumber come out and found the leak and actually fixed it Within 2 hours!!! He's desperate for work and will low ball his price just to slap a band aid on the problem. When I first inquired we spoke about the issue I was having and he said """"I know what it is, easy fix no problem""""!!! without physically evaluating the situation! Terrible work, terrible company and a weird owner! Edit: This job call was for my mothers house in Orlando. Matt I met and spoke with you and your employee the afternoon you showed up. Records are under my mothers name.

My husband and I are full-time RVers and, during our 16 years of travel throughout the United States, we have had plenty of times when we needed repair and installation services. We're in Florida right now. One of our indoor faucets needed replacement, and we were delighted with the timely response of Matt, Owner of American Veteran Plumbing. He immediately dispatched an excellent technician named Godwin, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of workmanship. What a great same-day experience!! Thank you, Matt and Godwin!!! Pam Blose

I've had to hire numerous plumbers over the years and I have to say American Veteran Plumbing is the best ever! They were very professional, gave a clear estimate before beginning to work, and even though the job ended up costing more than they thought, they still only charged me the estimate! I will use them again in the future and highly recommend their services!

Recently did a 'toilet rebuild' for me. Tech was on-time, very professional, very knowledgeable, courteous, focused on the work. Price was in the range I would expect. Toilet is now working fine, I am very satisfied with American Veteran Plumbing's service.

A tree near the water meter box sent several roots that way and they busted through a T of some pipes in there. As a veteran myself, I always like to use veteran businesses when I can. Matt was EXTREMELY responsive and offered me a VERY fair price. He was able to come out quickly to look at the issue. He gave me the estimate, I accepted, and he performed the work the same day! It's nice to find a company with this kind of work ethic! I will definitely be keeping his info on hand. I own several properties and a good plumber is most certainly a good thing to have!

Late review, my fault, of whole house water filter AVP install. Later realized 2 extra pipes installed, advised AVP; very reluctant to even look, came out removed only one unnecessary AVP cold in pipe that allowed 1/2 C filtered -in and 1/2 C unfiltered-in. However AVP left a second duplicate cold AVP pipe. Re-advised but AVP refused to remove AVP 3rd pipe. I still have 3 block penetrations for 3 in-pipes (C/C/H) filtered, not 2 as original. Front block wall work area stained/discolored, needs scrape/clean/paint. Culligan says filter unit already discontinued, filters only still available ACE. All AVP outdoor pipe is PEX pipe poorly wrapped in silver tape. Can't recommend AVP.
