Efrain saved the day yesterday! I couldn't be more grateful.
Both of our toilets became clogged 30 minutes before my
company, which included my 95-year old, walker-pushing mother,
was scheduled to arrive for lunch.
I frantically made many calls to plumbers for help.
It was a Saturday and no one was available.
One company said that they'd be there soon, called back and
said maybe, in a few hours. I was then able to reach Efrain, who
was at my house within 45 minutes, knew exactly what the
problem was, and in half an hour, my company was sitting down
for our dinner with everything fixed! Efrain was prompt,
knowledgeable, efficient, polite and thorough. I highly
recommend him!

Once upon a time we awoke to a house full of family on Christmas morning. We were enjoying our morning when we were interrupted by one of the worst plumbing issues to boot, our toilet was backing up into the shower . We reluctantly decided after much snaking that we would need to get a plumber out on Christmas . We called American Sewer and Drain and I am so glad we did. We had used Effrain's business before for a small back up and knew he was reliable. He showed up within a half hour after we called him. His rates were extremely reasonable given the holiday and he literally saved our day. The clog itself was in a peculiar spot between the property and the street so Effrain actually had to come twice after the city declared it wasn't their issue. He had a great attitude and was extremely professional. 5 stars for Effrain and American Sewer and Drain! I would highly recommend this local family owned business to anyone in need of plumbing!

They are a small company, I think two guys total.

In December 2017, rooter service cost $190 on a Saturday. I think he said it would have been $150 Monday-Friday. In my experience, both are very reasonable prices, and a good reason to use a small operator like AS & D.

We'll call them again if the need arises!

Efrain was prompt, showing up within a half hour of my call for a main drain clean out. I was originally skeptical when he unloaded his snake, since I had already snaked the drain to 100' without success. Not only did he clear the drain, but he coached me on snake technique and carefully measured the distance to our drain pipe problem for future reference. His rate was very reasonable and service was great!

I called AS & D at approximately noon telling them that I had blocked toilets. Efrain arrived about 15 minutes later! He was polite and very hard-working. He spent about 4 hours trying to clear the line from two different directions without being able to unplug the blockage. Finally, rather than leave me in the lurch, he returned to the shop and came back with the power jet. (sorry I don't know what this is really called. At any rate, it blasts water through the line.) This worked almost immediately! Considering the time spent and the positive outcome, the charge was extremely reasonable. I appreciated Efrain's efforts and his determination to do the job right and see it through to a happy conclusion. One satisfied customer.

I had a few plumbing issues, so I called AS&D. Ephraim (sp?) came over promptly and took care of the minor issues. After checking the situation out thoroughly, he told me that I didn't need the more expensive work I thought I needed, and charged me just a more-than-reasonable small fee. Someone less scrupulous might have gone ahead and done that work and made a lot more money, so I really appreciate his honesty. I know who our plumber will be from now on!

When both our showers backed up just 10 days after a competitor's 5-minute ""snaking"" of a shower drain line, I called American Sewer and Drain on our contractor 's recommendation. Efrin and his helper came out that same afternoon, went into the crawl space to understand the drainpipe layouts, then ran a ""snake"" through the roof air vent into main sewage line, removing a huge old hairball. American solved the problem for barely more than half the price charged by the competitor, with a far better attitude and 30-day guarantee as well.
