As someone who doesn't know much about plumbing, seeing a backed up drain can be stressful. What's even more stressful is finding someone who is honest and fair. Richard was very patient and answered all my questions. He cleared out some roots in the sewage and it is as good as new. It only took about 45 minutes. I am happy I made the decision to go with American Sewer. I had a clog in my drain that created water backup. Richard was able to locate the problem and snaked the pipe with ease. I also did a camera inspection of the sewer line.

Richard called promptly after leaving his last job exactly as he said he would. Took the necessary time to set up of his tools and buckets and tarps to keep everything neat and tidy (much appreciated!). He asked what I had previously done especially with commercial cleaners like drano. He knew that I had previously attempted to use drano because it softens the trapped grease making the snake less effective. However, he did get the snake into the drain about 60 ft in and then the clog was finally gone. He put my p-trap back and tested the line by filling the sink halfway and letting it drain while the faucet was running. It drained so fast! All in all, it was about 50 minutes from start to finish and it turned out to be the exact cost of the estimate. He did not even ask for me to give a review, but I just had to leave one after such a great service call. Prompt, accurate estimate, courteous, effective. Would not hesitate to call for future issues.

PS- also was given a 1 year guarantee. Amazing!

We have had sewer/main line blockage issues since moving into our home two years ago,so unfortunately we have experience with several companies. Richard, the owner/operator of American Sewer and Drain was highly knowledgeable and thorough. He arrived on time to assess our,problem. We needed some preliminary work done to access a main trap, so he returned several days later. Communication for all appointments was excellent. Richard relieved our blockage and using a camera, showed us some scaling within old metal pipes. I was impressed because he offered two options- a hydro jet to clear this , or replacing the pipe with PVC. If we replace the pipe, he would lose the job, and we appreciated his honest assessment. He told us he has been in this line of work for 30+ years, and his expertise shows. Finally, his prices were more than fair and very reasonable for the work and time he spent here. Believe the positive reviews- I highly recommend as well!
