I wish I could give zero stars! This company is full of dishonest people who don't respect you or your time.

I had an emergency situation and they said they'd send someone out between 8-10am to fix it.
Great! But then I got a call from them at 9:30 saying they would be late, between 11-12. I asked the girl if she was sure they would be there because it forced me to cancel my appointments for the afternoon. She promised...
Lo and behold, 11:40 comes and she calls me to tell me they won't be there by 12 and she doesn't know when they would be there. I got very frustrated and asked to speak to a supervisor . She lied to me and told me the supervisor was on the phone and would call me back in 5 minutes...turns out the supervisor wasn't there.

I will never do business with a company like this that doesn't respect my time.

The drain in the bottom apt was backing up into the tub. I called at 11:30 am, the appointment was made for 2-4 pm. We made it clear that we had removed the toilet and only needed the drain snaked. At about 2:30, I got a call delaying my appt to 5-7 PM. At 5:30, I got a call, RESCHEDULING my appt, to FIRST THING in the morning. 10 AM.
Their advertisement states service 24/7. TWENTYFOUR SEVEN.
Why was I rescheduled??
the drain overflowed into the bathroom during the night, with whatever goes down the drain. RIGHT. A BATHROOM FLOOR LINED WITH FRESH HUMAN EXCREMENT.
I called at 9:30, and was PROMISED ""No Later than 11 am.""
I called at 11:15, was told all their techs were busy.
They finally showed up at 1 pm.
They advertise $88 drain clean, but the tech tried to charge me $235.
I gave him hell. I feel bad, it wasn't his fault, he didn't deserve my ire, but he wears the company name.
I eventually got the $88 price, and the drain did FINALLY get cleared.
and ME MYSELF AND I got the glorious job of cleaning up SHEET, and that shouldn't have been necessary at all.
Is this what you call good customer service?

Extremely late for appointment. EXTREMELY RUDE. Tried to trick me into paying a higher price. I used once. Will never use again.

Please shop around before using this Company. They get you when you are desperate. As I am now just finding out 3 years later, my entire main sewer line should have been replaced from the start, 3 years ago, starting from the clean out inside my house. They did half and it backed up into my house again after 1 year. Came back and did another part and 6 months later it backed up again. 2 months later it backed up again because the tech put the wrong part on, or so I was told. Now they tell me I need to do another part, the part that should have been done first, and if it had been done first I would not be getting the flooding and back up into my house. The back up could have been avoided and happened outside if the line inside had been replaced 1st. Now after getting 3 other bids I am finding I was totally ribbed off. They whole line replacement would have cost what they charged me from 1/2 the line and I am still having problems. In addition from running and viewing with the camera we are able to see that at one porting the line is not even lining up at the connection. Hope when this becomes a problem in the future that they will honor their warranty. At the time I pointed this out to them and their tech said it would not be a problem. However, others that have looked at the line thru their cameras, feel that it will become a problem in the future. Beware anything can wait a few days so you can shop around.

Have since had 2 more Licensed and Bonded Sewer Contractors out here and there is definitely problem at the connection points, they do not line up, lips which cause water build up. Check Valve in the garage seemed to have been missed by Rescue as well.

First of all, I don't know very much about plumbing, so when the faucet in one of my bathrooms was trickling out water, I had no idea as to what might be causing it. Rescue Rooter came and unscrewed the end piece of the faucet and replaced it. The man charted me $149.50. This is a piece I'm sure I could have bought at the local hardware store and screwed it in myself...if I had thought that might be the problem. I DO feel price gouged. When it costs (or is advertised to cost) less than $100 to unclog a drain, and requires much more time and equipment, a $149.50 charge for less than 5 minutes of work seems like I'm being taken advantage of. I understand this is barely an issue compared to the other horrible stories I read in the reviews, but I thought I'd share my experience as well. I won't use this company again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They originally called with an offer to check the lines at a reduced price which my husband agreed to. They lied to my elderly husband informing him that our sewer lines were impacted with roots and the pipe was cracked and needed to be fixed to the cost of $12,000. We called two plumber companies to come out and check the lines and both said there was nothing wrong with our sewer lines, no roots, small cracks which would last for years. When the time comes, there is only about 5 ft of area that needs to be repaired. $12000 for 5 ft is fraud as far as I am concerned. Stay away from this company.

Had my first experience with Rescue Rooter and my overall experience was positive. Manny (Manuel) was the technician who came to service our garbage disposal. He was personable, efficient and professional. He talked me through the repair and offered maintainable tips once the job was completed.

In the spirit of transparency, I did have a problem with the initial call. I received an initial estimated arrival time of 4:30-5:30 and several calls after that explaining that they were running late. To their credit, they did call to ask me if I was okay with the later time each call, and I agreed until they finally offered a ""possible arrival time of 11:30pm, with no guarantee."" It was a work night and sleep was important:)

After I canceled the service for that evening, they offered to come back the next day and did. Fortunately, it was only a jammed garbage disposal:)

Ultimately, the manager offered me 20% discount on top of my AAA discount. Manny showed up and now my garbage disposal works great! I would highly recommend him for disposal repairs:)

They were horrible! I got their number from an add that promised $88 to clear the drain, and all i needed was for someone to run a snake down my shower drain. In order to be sure I verified the price with the agent when i called and she confirmed it was the right price. So she gave me a time for the plumber to come and I waited, when he did not come at the assigned time I was told he was running late by 1:30 hours. After he showed up 2 hours late, he looked at the water from my shower and wrote a price of $199. on the estimate, I showed him the add on the website and he said no worries I will go downstairs to get my tools. I waited another 20 min and he did not show up. called their office and asked if he was coming, the guy instead of answering my question kept wasting my time and asking me what price he quoted. This is worse service I have ever gotten from a plumbing company, they are dishonest, and will rub you based on where you live. They will say whatever they can to get into your house and no one can beat them on the rudeness. WASTE OF TIME!

I highly recommend Rescue Rooter! Tony was both articulate and knowledgeable. He did a great job, quickly, for a fair price. The reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because Tony arrived 20 minutes later than the end of the scheduled time frame that I was given, which threw off my entire schedule for the evening. Then he quoted me a rate that was double the other estimates I had received to unclog my shower drain, so I turned it down and sent him out the door. Then Tony said he was going to go to his truck and call his supervisor to see if his supervisor had any other ideas. I wasn't sure what that meant. About five minutes later, Tony came back to my front door and he said that his supervisor approved him doing the job for me for the commercial rate, rather than the residential rate, and it was half the initial quote. He also said that if snaking the drain did not work, I would not be charged ANYTHING. Sounded like a great deal! So this time I said yes. Tony worked on the drain with a snake. I had already tried to unclog the drain several times with a pistol drum snake I bought, and I had failed. But after about 15 minutes, he succeeded! Lou, the manager from Rescue Rooter, called and texted me to check on the progress of the job. I thought it was extremely considerate to give me that kind of personal attention as the work was happening. As a stage 4 breast cancer thriver who has incurred massive debt from treatments that were not covered by insurance, I am so grateful for any service provider who does a great job for a fair price. So ultimately, I was very happy with Rescue Rooter.
