I highly recommend Rescue Rooter! Tony was both articulate and knowledgeable. He did a great job, quickly, for a fair price. The reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because Tony arrived 20 minutes later than the end of the scheduled time frame that I was given, which threw off my entire schedule for the evening. Then he quoted me a rate that was double the other estimates I had received to unclog my shower drain, so I turned it down and sent him out the door. Then Tony said he was going to go to his truck and call his supervisor to see if his supervisor had any other ideas. I wasn't sure what that meant. About five minutes later, Tony came back to my front door and he said that his supervisor approved him doing the job for me for the commercial rate, rather than the residential rate, and it was half the initial quote. He also said that if snaking the drain did not work, I would not be charged ANYTHING. Sounded like a great deal! So this time I said yes. Tony worked on the drain with a snake. I had already tried to unclog the drain several times with a pistol drum snake I bought, and I had failed. But after about 15 minutes, he succeeded! Lou, the manager from Rescue Rooter, called and texted me to check on the progress of the job. I thought it was extremely considerate to give me that kind of personal attention as the work was happening. As a stage 4 breast cancer thriver who has incurred massive debt from treatments that were not covered by insurance, I am so grateful for any service provider who does a great job for a fair price. So ultimately, I was very happy with Rescue Rooter.

I recommend that you never ask them to come fix your plumbing. They just don't want to open drains. They just come to sell you other services each costing more than a $1,000.00. We had our drain clogged off and Rescue Rooter left a voicemail for us that they have a special for $69.00 to open a drain. We called them on Wednesday to come open the drain. The technician never showed up on Wednesday. They sent someone with camera. Then they said they will send their technician on Thursday. On Thursday the technician gave us an estimate for $3,900.00 to run some cable through the main line. My husband said he just needs to open the drain. They opened the drain, the same night it got clogged again.

On Friday I took off from work and I called them 9:00 am in the morning and they said for sure they will send someone between 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. No one showed up. When I called them, they said they have canceled the order. Now after waiting three days I have to find another plumber.

IF YOU ARE EVEN THINKING ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY, THINK AGAIN. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES. Doesn't it seem a bit obvious that every other review on Yelp is a one star rating followed by a five star rating? It's clear that every time a legitimate customer reports their poor experience ""someone"" reports a great experience to counter. Called them to clear a sewer line blockage when my toilets backed up. Within minutes of arrival I was told that because the house was built in the 30's and no cleanout had been added in front of the house that this was going to be a big problem. I advised the technician that there is a cleanout at the side of the house that previous plumbers had used with no problem (have had four previous issues since 1999) but he looked at it and again warned me that since it was old galvanized piping I had a real problem. After 30 minutes he let me know that he could not even open the clean out because it was so old. Further, he stated that even if he could open the pipe it would be full of raw sewage which would pour out under my house and since Rescue Rooter did not do clean up, I would have to figure out how to deal with the mess. I told him this had never been a problem and we needed to open the line and clear it. After 10 more minutes or so he advised that he could not open the old pipes and he would call a supervisor to come out . We waited for another thirty minutes and the Supervisor showed up with a camera so they could see what was causing the problem. They assured me that although they normally charge for this they would not charge me. After another thirty minutes the very nice Supervisor let me know the the only option was to break into the main sewer line. He gave me two estimates that both required ripping out my front yard and depending on if ""I wanted to address the immediate problem"" or ""really fix the problem"" were between $3700 and $6500. I let them know I would have to think about it and call them back. Immediately after they left I called another company out. Within 5 minutes of arriving, the second company easily opened the cleanout that Rescue Rooter stated could not be opened and cleared the clog by running a snake through the line. $220 later and the issue was resolved. The second plumber mentioned that he ran the line out for 175 feet and the pipes seemed to be in great condition so no other work is needed. DO NOT LET RESCUE ROOTER RIP YOU OFF.

David Ventura was wonderful. He was on time and very conscientious of any inconvenience the job would entail. He explained the procedure and available options and was quick in getting the job done. I will definitely call on him again. Thank you.

We called late one night when both toilets stopped working and the guy hector got here 2 hr later, he snaked the toilet and removed one of them and they worked for 2 days while waiting for the guy with the camera to come and check pipes. Next day Vince came, looked with camera only about six feet cause it wouldnt go all the way thru ""he said"". He said the pipes under the house need to be replaced, about 5000 . 2hrs later someone else came to put toilet back on wtf.
2 days later, clogged again, another guy ,Marcus came to unclog and didn't have a serrated edge snake that's was needed, he said it was cleared, 2 days later clogged again, Steve came to fix and he pulls out a rag that wasn't found by the others, hmm interesting, then it was cleared and we waited for another camera guy, supervisor 'min ' then this guy saw the roots and said to return next day with bigger snake cause it was special. Today he comes with it and breaks the damn thing inside the pipe and then offered to refund the money but we told home to fix instead, after all he broke it, he called Abraham his boss & they had hydrojet guy come, finally fixed.
Meanwhile called corporate office who called back and said to expect a refund in 3-5 days , not an apology for the inconvenience just a refund. Will update you when we receive refund.

Totally disappointed with this company. They claim to address emergencies and will at least come for an estimate and they lied! Won't be giving my business to them and do not recommend them for anyone who faces an emergency.

Single women BEWARE! A routine clogged toilet prompted my call as my normal plumber was in the hospital. They sent a very young plumber out who stayed several hours trying to snake the toilet. He made a mistake and broke the toilet in the master bath (not the one he was working on). So, now all toilets in house non-working.Had to spend the night in a hotel. The next day they sent in the supervisor who announced ""they send me because I'm the bearer of bad news."" He told me I needed a ""reverse clean-out."" I thought it sounded strange and should have gotten a second opinion. First, they dug up my entire front yard. When they couldn't find the sewer, they jack-hammered my driveway where it was marked ""sewer."" It took them three days and they charged me $3500 for a process that I DID NOT NEED. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE.

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT IS IN ORDER BASED ON THE OTHER REVIEWS I'VE READ.

What a nice company to work with...If you have an emergency on a Sunday...no problem. I had Bryon and Enrique working to solve a huge problem that had reoccured several times. They were there to get the jog resolved and they were determined to not leave until everything was checked and rechecked. They are super nice and cleaned up everything with no mess left for me.

Called regarding clogged yard drains. Very nice tech showed up and worked the drains, but hopelessly clogged. Received an insane estimate to remove the concrete and repipe, so they opted to remove a small area and hydrojet the remaining lines. The 2x2 area they ripped out and relaid concrete looked horrible. We ended up ripping out their work later only to find the pipes were not cleared where promised. In addition, they poured concrete into the new pipe blocking half of it. When I called to complain, they stated they needed to send someone out to look at it. The manager said he was available only during the week (when I work). I eventually gave up. I would recommend steering clear of this company, as they did not complete the job as promised and would not remedy their mistake.
