We suddenly had a main line stoppage in the middle of the night, which meant that we had no use of our facilities at all. I called the main number, and the recording sent me to an on-call phone number. I called the on-call phone number, and the plumber on-call for 24/7 emergencies told me to call back in the morning...

AMERICAN PLUNBING in Tyler Tx is a *hero*. After several previous attempts by other plumbers, issues never got fixed. A.Plumbing sent out a tech, fixed and explained the issue. Best customer service in Tyler. Kuddos to them

Love this company!!! The plumbers are diligent, hardworking, and clean up after themselves (which matters a lot to me!) They were upfront with costs and lost in town. They don't try to sell you extras but stick to the issue. So nice to not hear a sales pitch when you're just need your drain cleaned. Only company I use now.

Prompt and professional. Labor charge was on the high side total $293. for an hour and a half for two guys. ($118. just to pull up in the driveway in Lindale). Parts were $20.00. They did not charge for a toilet seal that was still in good shape, bolts just needed an adjustment. Also changed out two tub pipes that were installed improperly by builder. I am happy with the work but a little dissappointed in the labor charges. I will check rates next time.

Called them about installing a new hot water heater. The installed the new one in about 3 hours it works great and was done at a fair price. I have used them before and would recommend them without hesitation.

I'm so happy with this company. I called 3 places in need of someone the same day. They were so considerate of my needs they said they would arrive between 1and 3 and two nice gentlemen arrived at 1:00. I was so happy due to the stress we were under this was a blessing for them to come the same day. Josh and Israel were the two plumbers assisting me. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They took the time to explain everything going on under my home. Work will be completed today I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I appreciate Troy as well. He was quick to get someone here and explain over the phone what to expect. This is the place to call when you need quick and friendly plumbers. Our situation was not an easy one. It's an old pier and beam home. Most piping is original. They guys took their time to make sure everything was done correctly with the gas leak. Unfortunately it was not going to be an easy fix. But again they took the time to explain what needed to be done. My family's safety is number one to me and they understand that. Thank you all!!!

Workers were nice, but the charge was not so nice for the installation of a shower kit. The price was a far cry from what was quoted. They did attempt to make it right, but I would not use them again. Had all intake lines replaced. New holes were drilled instead of using existing holes to install replacement lines. This could be standard practice, but I had to find and seal them all, as I wasn't aware that they would drill new holes. The bathroom sink lines were drilled through the bottom of the vanity, instead of through the back wall as they were before, even though there was an access panel. Some old lines were left in place and the replacement put around them. Not all of the pipes had floor covers around them to seal the gap between the outside and the pipe. Had to clean up things left like metal pieces and pipes. Some pipes were not secured well so they wiggle around. All cold supply lines, the blue pipes, were used even for the hot water lines. And finally, I specifically asked about the tub drain that I knew was leaking and was told it was fine only to find a pool of water under my home because it was still leaking. Again, they were nice, but I would not use this company again.

Plumbing job was adequately done, but the plumber sent by the company , when I requested that he put the rubber insulation tubing back on the pipe he had repaired, inaccurately told me he had done so. He had NOT. Luckily, I checked and saw that the insulation was not on, or else, the pipe would've been un-insulated for who knows how long.
